We send fewer duplicate invoices because payment state lives on the invoice, not in someone's head. I would not skip the downsides. Reconciling a messy imported statement takes longer than the product's marketing implies. Taken together, it is a fit for how we actually work week to week. Pros For most of this year our team has used QuickBooks Time for sending invoices the same day a job is marked complete. Bank-line matching is the weekly ritual that justifies the subscription. Month-end close is shorter because Friday already absorbed most of the matching. Basic reports are good enough for an owner conversation without exporting to a second tool every time. Cons Reconciling a messy imported statement takes longer than the product's marketing implies. A smaller issue on top of that: Categorization still needs a human pass; the suggested category is right often enough to make the misses annoying. Ultimately we moved to another system once our company grew Pros Very easy to set up and use, easy to explain or teach to our employees. Great value and makes payroll much quicker Cons They use time to the minute, we usually round up to a half hour so this was annoying to get used to. Having the information in one place makes day-to-day time tracking easier. Cons Some features can be difficult to understand at first. The cost can also increase depending on the number of users and the features required. Pros Is a good to tool to rely on, with a great options to choose from to make your everyday very efficient. Cons I will like to have some options that are not included but will make even easier my everyday task. But overall is ok. But, I don't like that they shifted to a subscription only platform. Pros Once you figure it out, it is very helpful for a small business accounting system. Support from corporate is poor. Online resources make up for it. Cons It is not institutive at all. It is such a powerful software platform that it would be nice if more of the added features were highlighted and given instructions on how to use.
