Pros: I really enjoy the protection I receive from Sophos Endpoint. I use it on both my personal and business computers and I has kept me free from malware and virus'

Cons: The only con I can think of is how draining it can be on my system. When my computers startup, Sophos can bog down the system and force it to run slower than normal. But, for the protection it provides, its worth it.

Sophos has been a very good overall product for antivirus as well as anti malware for the entire company.

Pros: Very competitive pricing, phishing identification once ransomware was inside the network, fairly easy to administer

Cons: Would prefer that Sophos had sandboxing capability similar to say a Palo Alto firewall product. They are working on it but are missing that piece.

Full suite of protection tools. Not just anti-virus, it's more.

Pros: Sophos Cloud based management tool makes it easily accessible. Sophos reverse-engineers a program before it runs to see if it malicious.

Cons: Customer support for the product is the worst I have ever seen. Weeks would go by between responses on tickets. I told to white-list Office EXEs to allow Hitman.Pro to not block them. Had to reformat 2 machines because the software did not install/uninstall correctly.

Overall: Full protection suite, when it works correctly, is amazing at it duties. But if it breaks, it is almost impossible to remove.

Comments: I absolutely hate this software. Ever since IT installed this garbage on our laptops, everything runs like a sloth. Eats up over 50% of physical memory. If it wasnt for their tamper protection, id delete it. Its like a bacteria that keeps coming back.

Cons: Memory hog, made my work computer a paper weight. Nothing is good about this product. Go with something else

Pros: I am located in Canada and got great support from a canadian office The software works well to manage protection for a business with many users Added centralized control features

Cons: Some intervention on the network like changing the admin password can cause the software to malfunction

Pros: This product has special anti-ransomware features. It is also fairly granular in configuration. Once the dust settled after deployment, it seems to be providing better protection that some of the competitive products offered to MSPs.

Cons: I found it requiring a lot of administrative overhead to get it intially configured and deployed. There is a lack of proper documentation in one place to get the MSP/cloud management and deployment properly configured. This product also seemed overly aggressive when still default configuration in place.

Overall: Protection from digital threats. Peace of mind.

Pros: I like the easy to use interface. They wat that everything is laid out makes a lot of sense to me.

Cons: It is very slow. On my IMac at home it takes upwards of 12 hours to scan a computer that does not have very many files on it.

Pros: It provides professional level security to your business with antivirus settings stored securely in the cloud. It identifies any threats immediately and stops them before any damage is done. Very easy to set up and leave alone.

Cons: The cloud-stored settings are very secure, but can be a slight hassle having to login every time you want tweak a few settings. It's worth it for the level of security you're getting though.

Pros: Cloud Management is great. Your able to create policies that are implemented to all clients on the fly. Blocking USB devices has never been easier.

Cons: Since it's cloud managed you required always active Internet connection. It's heavy on network utilization even when not applying new policies.

Pros: It is cloud based, so you don't need to have software installed on a server and can access from any location. It's also easy to install and supports both Mac and Windows. The dashboard gives an overview of what is going on with your machines. Most times you can clean up things right from the cloud interface, but if manual clean up is required there is generally advice on what to do through links.

Cons: Some of the features take a bit of digging, for example adding exceptions could be an easier process. Also the few interactions I've had with support have been lackluster, even to the point of not getting responses at all.

Overall: Easy to implement, easy to use after figuring out quirks. Cost effective.

Overall the Sophos Endpoint Protection has been very good.

Pros: I like the cloud-centric management portal of the product. I, as the administrator, can keep an eye on the entire company. The portal (as well as the endpoint products) are all globally acccessible, too.

Cons: I would like a little more control of the endpoints monitored; sometimes I need a "reach out and touch you" facility. PUA's keep coming up and I'm never sure if I've removed them or not. That goes for several warnings. Some of them are only temporary (missed 2 updates, for example), but they still show up as alerts, even though they have gotten the last 10 updates. And finally, the website restrictions are pretty ridiculously restrictive.

Overall: Fully, cloud-based administration of endpoint protection software.

Pros: Easy to deploy, easy to manage software. Support is pretty good. Endpoint management is simple. For the most part it is pretty accurate in detection.

Cons: Installation requires reboots. Sometimes the software will give you false positives on well know tools. Sometimes I get false positives on things such as psexec. The false positives are the biggest negative.

Simple to install and maintain. We use it on all of our desktops, laptops, and tablets.

Comments: We installed on all personal and work devices to protect from intrusion. Works great on both MAC and PC based devices. Install is a snap, you can monitor and control programs from the website. Works hard in the background without making a fuss to the user or taking up a ton of memory.

Comments: All in all very happy and I highly recommend Sophos.

Pros: I have been using Sophos for more than 7 years now and have it installed on all my Macs. Easy to use, easy to install, great protection.

Cons: Since last year I have started experiencing trouble when backing up my Macs. Somehow there seems to be an cpompatility problem between Sophos and Timemachine and when backing up, I need to turn off scanning and live protection to make sure it goes quick. If it's not turned off, Time Machine announces a backup time of sometimes 120 hours.

Comments: The primary reason for choosing this is the recommendation from our IT support vendor who also manages security. Im thankful for that as I find the interface is not as intuitive as other security products Ive used.

Comments: As we have many Mac and Linux users, we tried to find the best solution for these systems and for Windows as well. Not an easy thing. Finally, despite Sophos was not our choice for Windows, we liked it so much that we decided to choose it for Mac and Linux systems. Sophos EndPoint Protection doesn't eat much resources as many other Antivirus do on those systems which was one of our priority.

Pros: Easy to use Very Low system resources consumption on OS X and most Linux systems. Easy to install and manage. Management Console has everything and looks new and very nice (2016).

Cons: No quick scans. Can not install the agent for OS X and Linux from the management console but it is possible to push it on Windows.

Recommendations to other buyers: Not sure this is the best EndPoint Protection for Windows, but this is actually the best for Mac and Linux users available on the market.

Pros: We evaluated many antivirus and went to the conclusion that none is perfect. Sophos run nice on Mac and Linux, which is hard to find. We had no other options than choice Sophos! All in.

Cons: It installed many services and apps on Windows. When you open add/remove or check the taskmgr, a lot of process!

Recommendations to other buyers: If you have to support Windows, Mac, and Linux, this is the best option
