There are other programs out there that a better and less expensive. Pros The software does the job for what it was intended to be used for. We did not have any serious intrusions and the platform was easy to use. Installation was a breeze and took no time at all. The interface is clean and easy to navigate through. Cons Computer speeds seemed to diminish slightly once installed. A little pricey compared to comparable programs offering the same amount of protection. We ended up switching programs due to price. Pros The software does detect any viruses on a certain scale but I do not rely on McAfee now because I do not go to sites that are bad or unsafe. Cons It's expensive and I can use my mac laptop which does not charge me money. However, I think it would be better to make sure that your computer is getting scanned when you don't need it to be performing at peak speed. Pros I like how thorough McAfee antivirus software is. It does a great job of regularly scanning my laptop for viruses and threats, and notifies me of important things regarding my laptop security. Cons Although this antivirus software seems to be thorough, I have noticed that it does sometimes cause a lag in my laptop function.
