We could not be happier with Planstone. We have worked with them for almost three years and they have gone above and beyond to customize their content management system for us. They are quick to respond, take the lead on project management in a proactive way I've never seen with any other vendor, and they really listen to our needs. They are not just trying to sell their product. We have very complicated content and their system handles everything just as we need. The public side of Planstone (online session planner, evaluation, etc.) is a very clean view and our attendees find everything very easy to use! Would highly recommend Planstone to anyone needing to manage content and speakers.

Pros

Very flexible system and easy to use. Manages several different types of content seamlessly and the communication piece of the technology is extremely efficient, as are the evaluation tools.

Cons

You do need to be able to clearly outline to Planstone what your needs are upfront so they can customize and build the system to your specifications. Changes can be made along the way but its best to have a full understanding of the capabilities and then have a discovery meeting with Planstone on how to best set it up for your own use.

### "Great and easy to use customer support for everyone"

They take the lead on proactive project management that I've never seen with any other vendor, and they really listen to our needs. They are not just trying to sell their products. We have everything very easy to use! I would highly recommend Planstone to anyone who needs to manage content and speakers.

Sometimes there is frustration when back-end features are not activated or "turned on", causing the system to malfunction for our membership. Slow response time can also be frustrating since this is a LIVE feature that affects our membership.

Pros

The recently added upgrade allowing us to edit e-mails (HTML converter) is very helpful.

Cons

Often the site is not intuitive and there are many back-end features that are out of our control and/or we are not aware of.

We have used Planstone for several years for abstract submissions. We have been very pleased with the system and Planstone's ability to modify the software for our needs. Their customer service has been impeccable. We have now decided to utilize the same platform for our grant applications. I know it will save us considerable time and effort and also allows us to track who hasn't begun to review applications which can cause quite a bit of additional work on others at the last minute.

I've worked with Planstone directly for the past 5 years. We mainly use the system for evaluations and claiming credits. We implemented an API with Planstone and our IT vendor a few years ago. It has made the process seamless for our users. In general, I find the system to be intuitive. It's easy to track the status of projects using their software tools. Customer service is responsive when I need help and they provide after-hours service in the event of questions outside of business hours during my live events.

My organization switched to Planstone in 2016 and we immediately saw improvements in our team's efficiency. Not only that, but the system is very simple for our faculty to use. Our account manager, is very responsive and always willing to jump on a call to walk through a challenge or process. No system is perfect, but the upgrades have been helpful and frequent. We look forward to making our experience with the 2017 program even more efficient and successful.
