We needed to identify what was selling, what was dead stock and what we likely to run out of before the next delivery arrived. With long lead times this is tough to manage but IP has really helped us step the business up.

Pros

\* Easy to get started, although takes some work to set it as needed \* Excellent API for automating works flows \* Pricing and automated price reduction when your stocked items falls \* Summary level and detail drill downs allow questions to be answered and reviewed in one place \* First rate suppport team

Cons

\* Company has grown quickly and there have been occasional bugs or issues that have impact on availability \* reconciling invoices against POs is tricky as there are not enough "extra charges" boxes and no way to reconcile multiple invoices against a single unless you keep a separate record outside of IP

### "Good customer service experience"

Pros

I am still learning the ins and outs of but I had a very helpful interaction with their customer service. They took the time to figure out the issue I was experiencing as well as help me to interpret and diagnose the underlying causes for future cases.

Cons

Understanding error messages given by is not the most intuitive. While I understood the basis of what was causing the error, I had no way of identifying the specifics of the error without first reaching out to customer service. Now with their help, I will be able to address these same issues on my own if they occur in the future.

### "Great when it works...infuriating when you need customer service"

Was good until the massive holes in their CS capacity became apparent. We can't have this much liability in a system that is so integral to our business planning. Ugh.

Pros

It mostly does what it needs to, except when it doesnt.

Cons

My biggest gripe is with the customer support. It's simply not designed to be able to manage wide scale issues with their system. They have no direct phone number to call, and their chat system is a queue, meaning they get to you when they get to you. This isnt such a big issue with small problems with single accounts, but when they have a system issue effecting many accounts it means replies take days...and those replies are short and terse without offering any resolution. Right now the system has been an issue for about 1 week. Their "resolution" to the wide-spread issue was to move to a restore point from many days before the problem occurred. This means all the data that was input in the interim is missing. This means I have 15 missing POs. This means my inventory check-in from the past however many days is no longer accurate. These problems will persist for months as we discover them. The reply from their support....what reply? We are looking at other systems for management because we cannot operate a business like this.

Reason for choosing Inventory Planner

It had the features we wanted at a good price.

Overall, I would say that the software is fantastic and has allowed us to scale with efficiency. It has also allowed us to onboard new brands with confidence knowning we can expand without putting too much cash in slower moving inventory.

Pros

The implementation is very easy with almost a few clicks and your datat begins to pull through. It has allowed us to correctly forecast the stock required for the given lead time and days of stock which we require which has meant that our out of stock days on items has reduced dramatically and also allows us not to overstock.

Cons

The only issue that we have had is that sometimes the reports do not work out of the box so some configuration on the data is required in order to get the information that you require.

Good. I have used this software for a year now, and have just renewed our contract, due to the product working well for our business needs.

Pros

Overall product is very good for our business needs. We did have initial teething problems, which were quickly rectified by the team to ensure the forecast works better for us. Additionally, my account managers \[sensitive content hidden\] have only ever been helpful, and have guided me along the way with anything I was unsure on.

Cons

Missing some aspects to provide better forecasting (e.g, ignoring periods where an item is in the sale thus falsely inflating R.O.S, or ability to deduct smaller PI's from a larger one).

It handles complex multi-supplier environments with ease—we manage over 3,000 SKUs across 20+ suppliers—and its predictive models have notably increased our ordering precision. A key advantage is the ability to import external data via Google Sheets, enabling us to implement custom logic and accommodate edge-case workflows that fall outside the scope of built-in connectors. The reporting capabilities are comprehensive, with flexible filters and export functions that facilitate in-depth analysis. Since adopting the platform, we’ve streamlined our procurement processes and significantly reduced excess inventory.

Pros

We signed up to to improve forecasting and stock supply for a retail location, ecommerce store and Amazon FBA. Previously all of this work was done in spreadsheets, but rapid business expansion and an increase in suppliers made this process increasingly laborious. Inventory Planner has greatly assisted us, leading to few stock-outs and the ability to better deal with surges in customer demand.

Pros

Required replenishment is automatically flagged based on historical demand, making it easy to identify the lines which need some attention. Forecasts are accurate and the per-SKU 'dashboard' summarises a lot of information in one place. PO creation is quick and very customisable. The overstock feature gives us a steer on which lines require some promotion.

Cons

Having mastered the basics, there's a sense that we could be getting more out of the system. But there's no clear path to achieving that without sitting through hours and hours of webinars in the hope of spotting the nuggets of information we'd find useful. Some of the UX in product/bundle setup isn't as intuitive as it could be.

Very good, easy, and a lot of forecasting options. I only need to order once a week, and it have a lot of integrations.

Pros

Easy out of the box connection to Prestashop. Easy to do a forecasting and ordering of products. When first setup, its pretty easy to maintain.

Cons

It have A LOT of analytics, and i do not personally use all. But if you like a big date i guess its perfect. But it could be nice to sort/filter somethings out :)

It's good overall, it does what I want it to do at the right time :)

Pros

It's easy to get a good overview, the data is easy to understand and work with. Things can be downloaded to excel and uploaded via excel, which is great! There is a handbook so it's easy to find problems, but even better, the support are on point when contacting them!

Cons

I think the payment terms a set up weird - it's based on yearly revenue, and I don't see that makes sense to charge that way. Even if I only had 10 SKU's that sold for 2.000.000 EUR it would be more expensive for me then to have 1000 SKU's with a yearly revenue on 500.000 EUR.

We ended up cancelling our subscription, as the daily emails (seemingly a wonderful idea) only created more work and confusion. It wasn't worth the cost.

Pros

\- daily emails give insight into out of stock and low stock items, makes it easy to react to conditions. Emails are highly customizeable to narrow into what you want to see. - incredible reporting tool, lots of insights and factors you can add into reports (such as taking into account sales and holidays and how that impacts demand numbers) - great way to narrow down and analyze individual skus, sales history and forecasting - integrated seamlessly with Magento

Cons

\- daily emails can be off by a day. Tried working with customer support on this (for example, item was out of stock, came back in, is up and available on website, but daily email the next day still shows it out of stock). Customer support unable to fix, created more work having to look into individual skus.

### "One of the best Inventory Planner on the market"

We have benchmark quite a few software in this field and this one is the easiest to use. At first, pricing was so low compared to other solution that we hesitated and were concerned about the quality. But honnestly it is equivalent to software costing +$1K / month. Good Job !

Pros

Really easy to use and really fast to implement, you can start to forecast your first orders in less than 2 hours. Some issues on our side with the API but quickly solved

Cons

Some automations could be added but this is not a really cons as the software is already working like a charm

Very positive.

Pros

Everything an end user could want integrated into the app has already been integrated thanks to their listening to customers. It does everything we needed to from automated purchase orders to accurate forecasting.

Cons

In my case, the interface is rather bloated and confusing, because we only need a few features. But for a larger enterprise, I understand why a lot more of those tools would be needed.

Pros

Integration with Brightpearl - products and purchase orders flow very well between systems - love the overstock report and easy to use filter

Cons

Learning about the different forecasting algorithms takes time - but this is the same for all forecasting systems

Lo único que destacaría sería el coste, aunque es cierto que es una herramienta que nos ha ayudado bastante, por lo que compensa.

Quickly got a hold on our merchandise buying needs through better forecasting and financial management across key categories. This was a gap in our system/tools

Pros

Variety of forecasting options and models that can be set for different products or categories is excellent. The reporting is detailed, excellent and configurable. It integrated with ease and super quickly to my cloud based erp.

Cons

The depth of functionality took some time to understand and get used to. Put this is a plus overtime. I think the financial OTB planner is also very good but some further calculated KPI's to be added would enhance the ease of use for users.

Reason for choosing Inventory Planner

Better suited my business needs and was better priced

It doesn't have the inventory page or so which was hard for me to understand why forecast software wouldn't have a better inventory page.

Pros

Forecasting is working as needs to be. It does calculate all the statistics and gives you a nice understanding of what to order

Cons

The software is not very easy to use and it doesn't have a full setup video. You have to spend some time in FAQ or ask customer support. They do free demo's

has become an important part of our inventory management process. It has simplified stock management, improved purchasing decisions and given us much greater visibility of future demand and inventory levels across the business. The software is intuitive to use and makes complex inventory planning much easier to understand. It has helped us become more proactive rather than reactive when managing stock and purchasing. Our only significant challenge has been ensuring the integration with our ERP supports our manufacturing workflows correctly. This has been more about configuring the integration than the software itself. Overall, we're very pleased with the product and would recommend it to businesses looking to improve inventory planning, forecasting and purchasing control.

Pros

has significantly simplified our stock management and purchasing processes. The forecasting tools and purchasing recommendations make it much easier to plan ahead with confidence, helping us reduce manual analysis and make more informed decisions. The dashboards provide excellent visibility of inventory, future demand and purchasing requirements, allowing different teams across the business to work from the same information. The system is intuitive to use, and once implemented it quickly became part of our day-to-day operations. Customer support has also been responsive whenever we've needed assistance, helping us get the most from the platform.

Cons

The integration can require careful configuration, particularly for manufacturing businesses with Bills of Materials, assembly processes and different purchasing versus stock units. Once configured it works well, but businesses with more complex workflows should expect to invest time in getting the setup right.
