There are 4 therapists at my office and it would be helpful when an email reminder is sent that it didn’t always have “massage with” (my name). My clients love its ease of use. It has an incredible number of features like tracking, record keeping, and more. Cons They're making me pick a con...I guess the one thing I'd like would be to have a way to keep track of members in my membership. Cons Overall functionality is cumbersome and not pleasant. There's a lot of extra clicking; it's not streamlined. Only one intake form is possible to customize and have saved and available to send out, but certain services or modalities require specific components that a general intake form would not include. Also, no payment system integrated. Add-on services should be possible to create under their own category, not requiring a time length for the item, rather than having to make one service several times to account for different add-on combinations. Lastly, it feels like this is more costly than it is worth, especially after reviewing some other options available to a massage therapist. I don't feel like I'm getting bonuses or extras, just a handful of things at a minimal functionality level. Reasons for choosing Bodywork Buddy I'm not. The software itself is always evolving & adding new features to accommodate therapist needs. Perfect online booking software for a Massage Therapist who operates one location. Cons green ( = upcoming appointment ) can be changed to blue ( completed appointment ) easily by just clicking and opening up the session. I want this to happen only when I submit the payment method. Cons It would be great if there was a way to accept credit cards, however, I understand the reason behind that function not being available. It's so easy to schedule an appointment and they don't need to create and account or keep track of another password. The office management/accounting portion of the software has been invaluable. Because it's made for massage practices, it keeps track of things like gift certificates and packages in a way that other, more generic, accounting software doesn't \*Cough\*Quickbooks\*Cough\* The income and expense reports make tax time a breeze. Bonus: My CPA loves the reports, too. One last thing - Customer service is above and beyond any I've encountered before. They even have a closed Facebook group for users where we can suggest changes, additions, etc. Cons Honestly, the things I like least are incredibly minor: I wish there were more criteria to sort clients by - but they're working on adding more based on feedback they requested from users in the Facebook group. So this might not even be an issue by the time you read this. There's currently no way to mark a client as inactivate - but they're working on adding that feature.
