Plexum Reviews
"Best software, best price."
Overall: This sums it up: I had a problem moving to a new server and files were accidentally deleted, which shut down our website on a Friday afternoon. Plexum worked throughout the weekend to fix it, even though the problem had nothing to do with their software. I got a call at 4:00 am on Sunday morning that the problem was fixed and we were back in business. No other company would have given that kind of support! I have been a customer since March, 2015. I will never use another software! I am a customer for life!
Pros: It is very user friendly and many features not available in more expensive products.
Cons: I like all of the features and reliability. It's all good.
"Too expensive"
Overall: The program was awkward to use which should have been the case for the high cost of the software.
Pros: It was quick to set up. Initially customer service was responsive.
Cons: I had to keep adding on and paying for additional space on their servers. Nowhere prior to paying for and installing was I notified that this would be needed. After entering tracking information for each and every order, I had to refresh the site before entering the next tracking number. Customer service was lacking towards the end of my subscription with them. There were limited options in designing the website.
"The Worst"
Overall: We have tried several companies from the most basic (shopify) to the most complex (plexum). We had made due with other companies but finally decided to invest significant time and resources to make the move to Plexum. It was nearly 10 times as expensive as other companies we had used, but the product seemed like it would really help to improve our business and simplify processes as we grew. Wow were we wrong! From the start, we realized the documentation was extremely difficult to understand and many of the options we hoped to utilize were not even available or didn't function properly. We had Paypal checkout issues and irritated customers. Customers can't reset passwords, leaving them locked out of their account and never returning. The option is there, but it doesn't function. Response time to issues would be days, if we would even receive a response. We continued to limp along under false hope and false promises. Once you are tied in to a company it is extremely difficult to make a move. Our company offers over 700 different items as well as having dozens of independent sales consultants. By the time we left Plexum it had nearly destroyed our business. Do your research, and choose another company!~
Pros: Absolutely nothing. We had hoped for great things only to be let down on every feature we tried
Cons: Expensive, terrible customer service, not user friendly
