### "A Rental Management Software Easy to Use"

Pros

I have been using this product since it was added to Quicken. I like the product because it is easy to use. You can generate reports that anyone can understand, and yet it is perfect for accountants as well.

Cons

I would like to be able to save the reports I generate into a format that can be saved and opened easily in a document file.

Pros

The ease of maintaining your checkbook, which also acts as your 'bookkeeping'. The autofill and memorized/recurring transactions.

Cons

I don't really have any complaints. It would be nice if you didn't have to upgrade so often or if they supplied automatic updates like some software packages.

Great Price. --> Namely 80% discount.. particularly if you buy it a month or two before the end of the calendar year from a third party. I don't really care about the upgrade potential of being right in sync with current tax law.

Pros

Keeps records in all of the ways I currently expect. All accounts. All categories. Allows for Tags - used to identify different properties.

Cons

Never got the process to work regarding tenant names, their deposits, their payments ... I have to track this manually. I have assigned each tenant a transaction flag like "add 3 cents to the deposit since you're in suite 3"... I can recognize this.. but I can't get the software to recognize this.

Pros

This program is fit for the beginner as well as for the advanced user. I've been using Quicken for over 20 years. Upgrades have meshed flawlessly. I recently purchased the Rental Property upgrade and it fits our needs quite well.

Cons

I would like to have someone available to answer quick questions, on the phone.

Easy to use; great to have all info on rental properties in one spot. This's software handles it all.

Cons

Support has been reduced; no recent updates so software is not keeping up with modernization. Accounting rules and tax laws are changing

Makes it easy to track basic finances in a project or a household. It also has capacity to do billing, invoicing, payroll, and expenses. Not complicated and easy to use.

Pros

Once you have it, it is easy to set up and get started. No long user manuals to go through, no need to watch training videos.

Cons

I really can't think of anything just yet. The only thing that comes to mind is that it is a bit slow to load at times.

Overall a great product for simple bookkeeping.

Pros

Qicken is a very simplistic bookkeeping software. I would recommend it for a small startup company. It is easy to set up a new company and enter simple transactions. There are some standard reports built into the software.

Cons

The reporting system is very limited. As you grow, you will not be able to create the management tools needed to manage your business.

I have always been a fan of Quicken. I first started out on this program and I love the easy to use features. It has an abundance of reports to use which are very nice. You cannot find a better product for the money out there.

Pros

The monthly reconciliation is easy to use and understand saving time. Also, syncing your online banking activity with the program is easy.

Cons

If you download your online activity and manually enter transactions you have to be careful not to end up with duplicate transactions.

Quicken is the default standard for accounting. They should adhere to the three "click" no more than three clicks to get to anything. The software has a great number of capabilities that the average user will never use. I actually prefer the older versions which were easier to use

Is not a cloud based system. I need multiple people to have access from anywhere such as an owner/tenet through a portal

I am familiar with it. It is realatively easy to use. It works all the time.

Cons

It costs a bit to start, and I could not return to the Deluxe after using the property management module. The property management module does not work for me.

Pros

I am upset. I get no service when I need it and no refund when I asked for it. I would not recommend Quicken to anyone.

Cons

I tried to work in Quicken to get my accounting reconciled at year end. No one is working in the evening or weekends. The only time someone can get help is during normal business hours. My subscription through April 2020. I asked for refund and I was told 30 cancelation window only. So, there you have it. NO support and no money back after 30 days. Think Twice before signing up for their services. Very disappointed.

Pros

I like to see everything in one place and an overview of my total finances.

Cons

The software is extremely bulky and I have found it to be inaccurate several times. These are my finances and Quicken isn't even adding and subtracting accurately at times. How am I supposed to trust something if it isn't right?

Where do I start? First of all I can’t see anything. Everything is confusing. I don’t know where to start. It always says I’m in the red and gets mixed up. I need something dummy proof.

I've used Quicken for many of years. Over all I like it the many versions get confusing.

Pros

The ease of importing your info from banks and credit cards is handy. I love the graphic displays that gives a visual of your money.

Cons

Adjusting the budget and the monthly fees associated with some versions of quicken. I'm not a fan of those features.

I spend far less time on Quicken 2018 for Mac than I did on my 2016 version for Windows. Its much more efficient for me to use.

Pros

Love the new interface and no more updating. So far this has meant far less trouble shooting as well. It seems a lot faster as well.

Cons

I wish they had multi-currency reports and the reports they have aren't as complete as the 2016 version I had before. I like a report that compares month on month by category, which the new version doesn't have. Please add back!
