I always hated to change to different software/programs depending on what I was doing. Quicken makes it painless. Cons The only cons I would say is it could use more interactive features going forward. But if no changes are made, I like it just the way it is. By providing a products that effortlessly streamlines our family's finances, business, and corporate employment within one product. President Real Estate Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Quicken Retail Property Mgr" November 16, 2016 4.0 I had used an older version of Retail Property Management that was not supported by newer windows operating systems. When my computer crashed I could not recover the date. The new Quicken program I uploaded to my computer was too complicated for me, and did not have the features of the older program. It also added payments and credits to my checking accounts which I did not want. I think the program is good for a new user, but for me I prefer a stand alone program not ties to checking accounts and more details on tenants and leases. As this application will be useful for him in his managing and closely monitoring of his financial accounts and investments. Cons Nothing questionable with regards to its performance. The only concern is its compatibility, since this can be useful to windows and mac users only. April 19, 2018 1.0 Don't try it unless you're sure you're gonna keep it because they won't give you your money back if you purchase from 3rd party (they say they will). Pros At first it seemed great - hooked up to all my accounts and showed me my net worth, etc. I really didn't like much else... No benefit over my quicken 2007 and much more costly Cons After 2 weeks, it stopped connecting to my accounts and I was unable to solve the problem. But the program still had not been proficient as it should be. I would think at this day and age that their system would be virtually bug free. Pros It was simple to download and economical. Once i figured out the reports they looked good and provided good info. Cons It is a very difficult program for the average person who is not as expert in financial software. It should remember your choices so it doesn't have to ask every time. 2. It's rather expensive considering you have to purchase new software every couple of years. 3. The software should update more often when there are small improvements. Pros Ease of use. Very intuitive. Cons The user has to enter choices every time. A onw stop shop to capture business financial information. Cons It does not support some banks and accounts that products like mint support to keep the information updated without having to go through many extra steps to get account information or importing and exporting the information. Cons I like least about the product the lack of support to get answers to user questions such as how to merge dAta with down loads . The tutorial link just sent me to the marketing site. You can also add an unlimited amount of properties as well. Cons I don't like the fact that it is not available online and can only be accessed on the device that it is initially installed on.
