Pros: I like the ease of the client being able to go to fixme.it and initiating the remote session. The value for the features is incredible compared to other remote clients. Over the years it has really exceeded my expectations in terms of features and how it works. The latest updates in the last few years supporting multiple monitors has been nice as well as cropping the video to fit the guest screen. I do wish it was a bit easier to make customer notes on a client without having to be connected to them. I really think this program is very powerful for my business and I have over 50 unattended clients. I love the fact that I can troubleshoot system in the comfort of my office. Heck I can even wear my pajamas during the process!! haha

Cons: I think it needs more features, like being able to lock the remote keyboard and mouse. I would also like to see making the remote system screen go black option so while I am completing tasks the client does not see the tools I am using to do so. I would also love to see remote file transfer option to and from the remote system. The most important is being able to install the unattended client without the remote user's intervention.

Overall: Remote login from my home or anywhere I bring my laptop. It is a fantastic value for the money.

Pros: The Fixme (Techinline) software is easily installed on the "expert" (technician) system as well as the "client" system. Installation on the client system requires visiting the Fixme.it website and only two more clicks for the client. The connection is fast, secure and has a chat feature where communication can be handled between the technician and the client. Unlike RDP, the client screen is shared, so that the client will be able to see what is being done on his/her computer. The client can also use his/her keyboard and mouse during the remote support session and is able to participate in any actions needed. The client can also terminate the session at any time if necessary. With Fixme.it, the technician can remotely reboot the client system and log back in either in Safe Mode or normal Windows. The remote support session is secured and encrypted for security.

As a service provider, the user interface presented to the client can be customized with a custom layout including company name and logo. Considering that the service costs only per seat per year, it is an exceptional value compared to many other remote support solutions. Fixme.it also supports multiple concurrent support sessions, which saves time for both the client and the technician.

Cons: I would like for this service to be able to support both MAC and Chrome OS in addition to Windows.

Overall: I have been using Fixme.IT for over 5 years now as my primary remote support tool. The service has been 100% available and reliable for me during all of the time that I have relied on Fixme.it. Connections are fast, the service is exceptionally responsive with virtually no lag (except when connected to some DSL customers).

FixMe.IT is very easy to use and is extremely reliable.

Pros: I find that end users have a very easy time navigating the interface when walking them through connecting to their workstation using the FixMe.IT website. Setting up unattended access is a breeze. The layout of the drop down menu when connected to workstations is very simple and intuitive. It has many useful features including Scaling, which is definitely needed when working off high resolution screens like my Microsoft Surface Pro 4. Being able to pan across multiple screens on a workstation or just locking into one specific screen is a very nice feature as well. I definitely use the screen recording function when doing demos along with the laser pointer and marking pen. Saving the recording and sending it to users is always appreciated. Being able to transfer files between my workstation and end users workstation is a must and works great. My favorite feature that was recently added to FixMe.IT is being able to work on multiple computers at once. I have a 3 monitor setup in my office and I can be doing multiple tasks remotely for one or many clients at once. The fee for this service is very reasonable.

Cons: I wish FixMe.IT supported MACs. Since I do not support many MACs it is not a huge problem, but would love to see this feature added.

This is an invaluable tool for us, many times eliminating the need for an on site visit!

Pros: We have used this product for years and we couldn't give the level of support we do without it. It allows us to take care of most of our clients issues without leaving our office and lets us work on a number of different clients at the same time. It actually does allow us to be multiple places at once. Without FixMeIt we would need to hire more people to provide the same level of service. A fantastic product, great support and they are always open to hearing ways to enhance or improve the product. Then throw in the great pricing and there is nothing like it!

Cons: None I can think of. We are always putting in suggestions to add features like notification when one of the clients goes of line, etc. Their support staff response quickly and gives the ideas consideration. This is really a pro, rather than a con but the form to complete this survey required me to put in at least a 100 characters in the Cons.

Overall: Saves time, trips and the number of employees we need to support our clients quickly.

I have been using FixMe.IT for years with very reliable success.

I have used this product for years with amazing reliability and very little need for technical support. The billing is very accurate and you just can't beat the price. I do a monthly subscription because that is what my company prefers. With a yearly I could save more.

I work with other companies when their support is required and use their remote access software. After seeing many that are on the market, FixMe.IT is by far the best one I've seen.

This product makes my job possible whether I'm working from my home office or I'm on the road. A cafe hot spot or hotel internet is all I need to take care of my customers.

Cons: The only current downside is when I remote in with my new laptop the window for viewing the customer's screen is very small. I contacted customer support and they responded very quick to let me know they are working on this one.

Cons: None really.

Overall: We have tried many products for demoing and supporting our accounting software but found Fixme.it the easiest in respect to the following. The system was improved where when a customer connects with different browsers, it's very easy for them to start the application. We use it for demo's and support. For support, we have a link to load it, for demo's they easily type fixme.it. So we usually connect with anyone in less than a minute. In addition, we do not seem to run into any security issues as we did with other programs. Copying files back and forth a breeze, and since we can connect with up to 10 computers at once, remote network installations are no problem. Only thing we needed was to be able to record voice and video for training purposes. But this would require connecting the call via the web and it defeats the purpose of speed and ease of connection. This was resolved by using a special wireless headset that connects to the phone and computer. Excellent product, good support, good price and would highly recommend it.

Recommendations to other buyers: Have to try it to see how easy it is to use.

I have been using FixMe.IT for several years and it works excellent for remote support scenarios

Pros: Ease of use and the ability to setup unattended access clients. The ability for it to run as a service so that users do not need to be logged in for unattended access to work and you can easily switch between windows users on a machine without having to reconnect.

Cons: Current inability to rename groups of unattended access machines.

Inability to search on group names in filter list (filter only works on machine names).

Inability to have systems on low bandwidth connections reduce.

Would like confirmation option when clicking to share *MY* desktop with end user (blue button, because I have accidentally clicked that button when trying to click the yellow one and there is no way to back out before first sharing your desktop with the end user).

No OSX/MacOS support.

Overall: Makes my life easier to fix things for clients instead of trying to walk them through or have them describe error messages.

Pros: - Easy to setup and use. Direct client to site and grab 6 digit code and go.

- Unattended client is great for remote access. Just install and system is auto-added to your list

- File transfers are as easy as drag and drop and then accept on client side. Can work in the background while files transfer.

- Management screen makes it easy to chat with clients and see groups of clients together and their current status

- Seeing whether the PC is in use makes interruption a lot less frequent.

- Recently fixed issue with controlling multiple clients. (before had to back out and then go back to your list to open a session (was limited to only 1 active session)

- Very cost effective versus other solutions.

Cons: Sadly does not support Macintosh PC's at this time.

Has no tablet/phone app like some other remote software (would be nice for remote support on things like Android and Apple tablets)

Overall: Being able to remotely manage clients on a day to day basis.

It's hard to knock the product as it is but it's just ok

Cons: No Ability to go cross platform ie mac

No mobile ability

The remote control agent doesn't work, well, sometimes gets eaten by anti virus clients/or disappears for what ever reason and you can't cut copy paste really!!!

Their response is that's odd, just drag files...sorry to say that's a tedious endeavor with the spotty mouse movements.

Overall: I am generally able to connect to my customers computers to assist with issues and install software

We regret that you've experienced this copy-paste issue - this is, indeed, non-standard behavior of our application, which in most cases can be attributed to custom or advanced antivirus settings, or other 3rd party local factors that we have absolutely no control over. As suggested in most reviews here, FixMe.IT's file transfer feature is quite reliable and easy to use. Furthermore, FixMe.IT offers several file transfer options including a file transfer button and drag-n-drop, so our intent at the time was to provide you with a feasible workaround in case copy-paste didn't work with a specific client machine.

Pros: I like that I can Sort the unattended Machine by Customer. I also like that it does not use a browser to connect to the customer

Cons: Not Much- I think that they can work on the multi screen function a bit

When there are multi screens the resolution is way too small.

Overall: I can control my customers much better when they need help.

Pros: I'm a small business offering managed services (MSP) to my clients. Remote Monitoring solutions usually include some form of remote access but it's no comparison to FixMe. By keeping them separate I don't have to be concerned about setting up access all over again if I switch RMM solutions in the future. For my residential clients I can use FixMe in conjunction with apps such as CCleaner Cloud to connect and then patch applications. FixMe is the framework in which I build my business.

Cons: I would like to see electronic auditing as a future feature. I want to be able to see the system specs on a unattended system without having to connect and view it manually. A Mac client would also be nice.

Pros: - I enjoy how easy it is to see my connected computers and their online status, being able to name them, group them or remove them from a group.

- The spreadsheet totals for connection times is very useful for showing clients the work/time put into maintenance or troubleshooting on their devices.

- It is nice that the program is not reliant on a browser. lightweight.

- Very quick, patient, efficient, and friendly with customer service.

Cons: - Customization is present but not as easy as I would like. It feels like I have to read manuals in many places and put work for my branded page or template to really shine. If they added more ease and options for customizing the client seen windows and page that would be great!

- This is an extra but I wish after a connection the program could prompt you for notes on what was performed and that would be included in the spreadsheet for connection times. Currently, I am writing in a different program and having to track all those notes, times/dates/client, and then attempt to incorporate them into the spreadsheets I send to my clients but it's not as clean in two different documents or takes an additional amount of time to combine them and make it look nice.

It has all of the features you can expect at the price point.

It is a very solid program. I have never had an issue with it. It always works.

Support is good and responsive.

Cons: It is a little light on features, but at the price point, I don't expect much more. It would be nice if it auto-refreshed the unattended list. Sometimes you have to go back to the unattended in order to find out of the computer is back online after a reboot because sometimes the information on the home page doesn't update as quickly.

Overall: Remoting into any Windows PC either via a very convenient pin or unattended access.

Pros: Simple, Quick and Easy connections to remote clients needing help. With other software the installation of a remote support utility takes too long, and IMO, shouldn't be installed at all. We need to connect, do our work, and disconnect without having to deal with install issues on top of the problems we are connecting in to fix. TechInLine lets me do just that with a run-only version of the connection utility, while still offering expanded options including an unattended access client.

Overall: Fast and easy remote connections to clients needing help along with unattended access clients that need ongoing or after hours support.

This is a great alternative to LogMeIn, Teamviewer and other such tools.

Pros: Simple and reliable as well as being great value for money. Slowly but surely features are being added such as the recent update to allow multiple remote control screens at once (previously you could have multiple connections, but only remote control one at a time)

Cons: Software doesn't support OSX so I'm forced to use Teamviewer for my OSX customers. Also it would be nicer if the app was also web based so we could use any computer to remote control etc without installing software, even if it was more limited.

Overall: Cost effective and fast remote control for unattended and one off connections........exactly what you need.

Pros: Price of course, easy to use, if you login to a domain environment it will prompt for domain admin credentials, some other application doesn't, it will keep session available when you switch user name or logout. love the last update multiple session at the same time. I totally recommend this application

Cons: Need few more features like screen that will have more details about the computer you are connected to: ip computer name. I also notice the client id the host give you is not the same after you connect the session, that is all I remmber

Overall: price and its good tool for IT support

My company switched from using WebEx to FixMe.IT and it was a huge improvement.

Pros: The thing I like most is how fast it is under normal circumstances. As I said, we switched from using WebEx and it felt like it took several minutes to start up a WebEx session where as with FixMe we can get a session started very quickly, especially if it's with an experienced user who knows how to start a session.

Cons: One main problem comes to mind.

Performance when customer is on WiFi can be poor. Sometimes when we're helping a user who has WiFi, the session will seem to freeze up for around a minute and then will pick up again with a reasonable level of lag (like click response time is 1 or 2 sec behind) that is understandable.

Overall: Being able to establish a session with a user quickly is very important and that's probably the biggest strength.

Comments: We have tried a number of products and this is certainly our favourite

Pros: Great unattended features that can be shared through all employees using the tool making remote access to customers systems much easier. The software gives a clear view of which system are online and which aren't. It is also very easy getting a customer to start a session when using the software.

Cons: Doesnt work on mac. Copy and paste to clients PC could work better When you run out of licenses it doesn't tell you who they are in use by which means shouting round the office

Pros: The easy graphic user interface, included some great features, that help supporting our users.

The simplicity of the product is really amazing, thanks you for a great service and support.

If you are looking for a quick and simply remote tool, this is the one for you!

Cons: The options, to revoke service still available for users , and they can remove the service at any time, it would be great, if you can take this option out.

Overall: Supporting users anytime , really quick, without the needs of installing any other third party applications or add on.

Pros: FixMe.IT is really simple to use and has some useful tools: file transfer is simple, as is screen sharing, plus you can use a pen to highlight things on the screen or change the mouse to a red dot to guide people around the screen. And the software is inexpensive when you consider you can run both new remote support sessions and unattended clients from the same console.

Cons: The ONLY issue I have with the software is that it is not the quickest to connect and sometimes you are left wondering what is going on.

Cons: Anytime I have a complaint or wish list item, I'm always greeted with a "yup, we're working on that and it'll be coming soon." And it does! So no cons.

Overall: The product itself is amazing, and JUST WORKS. The pricing is fair, and the ability to seamlessly work with UAC and unattended access is awesome. I really love the support though. Simply skype them and sometimes your questions and suggestions get updated right on the spot. They are also always open to customer recommendations, and even several of mine have already been implemented. GREAT COMPANY.

Recommendations to other buyers: Pay yearly...you may get a bonus month.

Pros: The product is really easy to use and is deadly reliable. No issues with operating system variations or other individual PC differences, seems to always fire up and run just fine. AND, it the cost is amazingly low when compared to competitors.

Cons: The product works quite well and does what it is advertised to do. I wish I could store a few more "Unattended" connections as we presently manage in excess of 1000 PCs. Otherwise, nothing comes to mind.

Overall: It is generates fare more revenue that we expend paying for it.

Pros: I have been using this software for about 5 years now and for the price it has meet all my needs.

I can connect to all my clients in an instant and monitor for several days if needed

Cons: I am currently experiencing some issues with the new version as far as when you first connect the default is " full screen" and this has several issues. one is when in full screen I can not use my clients task bar on the bottom of the screen. I have to shrink it to a "window" so I can use there task bar.

Pros: Multiple remote clients. Able to see if the user is working on the machine before connection (this is a unique feature!)

Cons: Its just opensource RAT software, with a few added features. Not enough features to warrant the cost...However, I am hoping for more features, such as multiple screen handling. Need Expert Client to remember the sort order & layout of Unattended Clients

Thank you for being our valued customer and for taking the time to review our product. Please note that FixMe.IT is by no means an "open-source RAT software". RAT (Remote Access Trojan) is a type of malware that's used to remotely control computers for illegal purposes, while FixMe.IT is a legit application that's used for remote technical assistance. It cannot be used for secretly monitoring the remote user's activity or controlling the remote user's machine without their knowledge or prior consent, and the application's code is not publicly available. As for the features, and the ability to handle multiple screens in particular, we've recently introduced a new Multi-Window Control functionality that allows you to view and control multiple remote desktop windows simultaneously, share files between the active sessions, and specify scaling and image quality for each window. Pros: I am the IT administrator of a medium size corporation and my field personnel use this software on a daily basis. It is easy to use and is one of the best investments we have made. The unattended computer feature is a great addition to the software and with it we manage locations in two states and nine locations. Of all the products we tested, FixMe.it was the best software for our purposes. The couple of times I contacted customer support I was immediately helped by a knowledgeable employee and resolved my issues promptly. Great product!!

Cons: I can't say we have found any "cons" , there is always room for improvements in any software package but we have found nothing to complain about with FixMe.it.

Overall: Allowed us to service and manage computers in areas away from our corporate office.

Pros: I like how easy it is to use, very user-friendly and connectivity is instant. Very easy to get my offices to remote into their computers.

Cons: I really dislike that beeping sound when recording. Really loud and I don't think it serves a purpose. If they want to leave it on, at least give us an option to turn off or on in settings

Overall: Able to remote into my 15 locations, nationwide.

Pros: When we switched over to this software, we were looking for something simple that would allow us to log into our customers computers and perform technical support or training online. This program has been very easy to use, easy to explain to customers how to start it on their end, and pretty robust in terms of getting through firewalls (we had some customers that we could never connect to with our previous software)

Cons: There is really nothing that I dislike about this software. It does exactly what I want it to do, with minimal effort on my part.

Overall: I can easily connect with my customers for 1 on 1 troubleshooting or web-based training.

Pros: Its very simple to use and always available. Good value for money and have never needed support. Our customers find it easy to accept a connection without being concerned about virus's or malware.

Cons: Not knowing who the current user is and if they are really using it or have just left it connected. Have to risk disconnecting the other user to make a new connection. Would like an android connection.

Overall: We are able to offer remote support for our equipment without the cost of making a physical visit.

Pros: - simplicity: Software is focused on handling the most important tasks well.

- price: I haven't checked recently, but when I signed up for FixMe.IT, they were about half the price of the nearest competitor.

- features: Unattended access, reboot & reconnect

Cons: - the name: While "FixMe.IT" is very clever and short, it's somehow difficult for users to understand over the phone. "F" and "S" are often indistinguishable, and once people hear "Six", their brain can't make the switch to "F". It's a minor annoyance at the beginning of the call, but it happens all the time.

- doesn't work with Macs. Originally I had one Mac user to support, but now I have 3 or 4 and the list is growing. It would be very helpful to have just basic remote control of Macs.

Overall: saved money over other options.

helped me provide better service to clients.

I switched from LogMeIn primarily because they kept increasing there pricing but prefer FixMe

Pros: I enjoy the ease of use and simplicity when connecting with another user. The file transfer feature is a great bonus and one that LogMeIn did not support when I used them.

Cons: The only thing I wish was different is the Unattended Client screen. I just wish you could adjust the layout permanently. I prefer having the Connect button next to the client name and have to adjust it every time I open the Expert software.

Overall: The ability for a very reasonable price to connect to anyone's pc simply and quickly.

Pros: I have found it to be faster than other programs of its type even on poor broadband connections. It is easy to navigate no complex menus. Easy to customize with own logo and details for client installs. Ease of use for new customers (that is for them to login to website and download). Great tool for showing remote customers how to fix a problem they are having. File transfer also easy to use.

Cons: Not able to use on customers with macs. Also would be handy to have an option to limit customer control while you are logged on.

Overall: customers that would normally be uneconomic for me to have due to distance from shop become regular customers

Pros: Easy to use and intuitive. Very useful for troubleshooting with it's remoting features. Prompts for a set time before taking control. Window for communication with user. Persists through reboots. Able to boot into Safe Mode. Monitors whether computers are online or not.

Cons: It is a very basic program with not a whole lot of features. Cannot customize the display columns. Can only view computer name, logged in user, activity, status, installed on date, and last connected date. It would be useful to have information about the OS, manufacturer, etc. A place to store notes about a device. Would love the option to add custom columns, mapped to WMI properties.

Overall: Affordable, great for remoting into users PCs and troubleshooting. Able to remotely boot a computer into safe mode. Encrypted communication with User.

Pros: Most competitively priced remote support tool we have able to find from a vendor that we can trust. Pretty easy to use - like being able to transfer files but could be more intuitive.

Cons: No MAC remote support, Fixme.IT URL has been confusing to some customers and sometimes we have to spell it out. Find that some customers security policies limit and don't allow the Fixme client to be installed on their PC's.

Overall: Quickly access and support our clients telecom app and needs for support.

Pros: Very easy to use, I have used it for years and have never had a problem with it. I am an IT consultant and I maintain many commercial accounts. I use this software to remote into my workstations. I tried many other options out there, including Teamviewer and others and none are as easy and problem free as this one.

Cons: The only thing I can list as a con is that it is a little pricey. Subscriptions I think should cost a bit less. I am not saying it's not worth it, I will continue to pay the subscription because it is so great!!!

Overall: I save tons of time driving around the city. I can fix almost anything remotely thanks to this software!!

Pros: I like the ability to use multiple screens for a customer. I also like to be able to connect to several different clients at a time. It saves me a lot of time when I can be working on another person while waiting for a process to finish. My customers love it for the easy of connection and I like the security.

Cons: My least favorite is although I can view multiple screens I have to scroll back and forth between them. Sometimes an error message pops up but I am on a different monitor and can't see it.

Overall: I have recommended it to several people already. I am able to work from my desk instead of driving hours to the customer location.

Pros: easy to deploy and features work well and the overall cost is great compared to the competition. Interface is reasonably fluid

Cons: the name - hard to convey over the phone. I am having to text fixme.it The interface for the Accept part needs improvement. Sound and better graphics could allow users to realize they need to do a click. I am having to do that all the time, even with regular users.

Pros: Fairly simple with most of the useful features anyone could want in a product like this. Lacks a couple of features the competition has, but those aren't critical.

Cons: Expert application only works on Windows, wish there were a version for iOS. (I can remote-control my PC from my iPhone with VNClite so it CAN be done.)

Also, its easy to transmit a file from the expert PC to the client PC; there is no feature to do the reverse. Why not?

There are several options to transfer a file from the client PC to the expert: 1) when running Remote Desktop Control, you can transfer files from the client PC to your own machine by using either drag-and-drop or copy/paste, or 2) the client can use the Send File button located in the top left corner of the Client Application.

Pros: This software does exactly what is set to do. It makes it easy for the user you are trying to help to install a client on their machine by simply visiting a url. You get a connection status update on your end. After that, you click to connect to your client. The interface is simple to use. I never had any problems or slow downs while using the application.

Cons: There were no problems that I experienced while using the application. If there is one, it will be price. But from all the other programs I reviewed, it was the least expensive . Its actually not bad. I wish there was different tiers of usage. All the other programs I tried were more expensive and more difficult to use.

Overall: I am able to provide assistance to my most needed clients

Pros: Easy to use. I often use the file transfer feature and the unattended client access (especially for servers).

Cons: Multiple monitor support could be better. Right now when I connect to a remote computer that has two monitors (and my computer has two monitors), both of the remote monitors only show up in one of my monitors and it is extremely small to read. You can view one remote monitor at a time, but that is not convenient.

We've been extremely pleased with this service!

Pros: Multi-screen setup is intuitive, File transfer is among the best, connection speeds and reliability top notch. Been using service for many years and there were three outages only lasting a few minutes.

Overall: Easier file transfer, multiple monitor option intuitive, fantastic UI...thank you.

We have not found any faults with this software. We cannot say that there is anything that we like the least and since it is working quite well, we would strongly recommend to leave it "as-is"!

Pros: For the most part, the software works very well. I have been able to connect to nearly all of my client computers. I do like the ability to have a person for to fixme.it and start a support session for a "one off" support call.

Cons: I'm still waiting for the ability to have multiple logins (not simultaneous) for a single account. I need to be able to give a specific person access to a group of client computers for remote support. I.e. If I have groups named Client A, Client B, and Client C, I want to another person be able to log in with their email and password and have access to Client C computers. There is also a minor issue of some sort with Server 2008. On a regular basis I am not able to connect to that computer. It appears the connection works but I never get the screen for remote access. When that server is rebooted I have access for a few days but then something happens and I can only RDP to that server.

Pros: Very easy lightweight software that does what it needs to do. It is easy to get clients to connect and reliably works. Priced well and is part of the reason I use it.

Cons: No Max OSX support and does not support mobile to my knowledge. I hope that they soon offer these as the lack of this does make we look at other products that could be better suited.

Pros: The software uses little pc system resources when running on my laptop. It also seems to take less internet bandwidth than other systems. It is also very simple when instructing remote users to setup to allow remote access.

Cons: The biggest con that I have with this software is that there is no mobile (iPhone or iPad) application. Many cases I'm in the field with my mobile devices only and need remote access to clients.

Overall: 1. Ease of use for remote users to allow access.

2. Simple setup for recurring remote access.

3. Fast login time.

4. Low overhead on pc and internet resources.

Cons: We've found that here isnt a way to use it on an Apple platform which a ton of folks use unless that customer is using it via Parallels on their Apple with a windows log in. Apple iOs should be a priority for support and for the folks at Fixme.it Other then that its a nice product

Overall: saves time, but the website customers go to stinks- people just cant figure out fixme.it they think its .com or whatever but they all have issues getting to it especially when using the Google search

Pros: Ease of use and it's features for supporting multiple displays. Addition of ability to control more than one computer at a time was a great update.

Cons: Wish they had a way to set it to low bandwidth so that high res background pictures would not attempt to send over slower connections or to tell it to not send so it improves user experience when bandwidth is limited.

Pros: Simple to use and professional looking. It is also reliable following a reboot.

I also like how it can save login credentials for unattended computers.

Cons: trying to explain to a "not so tech savvy" user that the website is fixme.it not fixmeit.com or something like that.

Overall: We manage about 50 servers for MSP clients and provide support to quite a few users both home users and business users.

Have used this product for years. I has gotten better all the time. Couldn't do my job without it.

Pros: This software has a minimal footprint but maximum coverage. It just works and it works as if it was designed by user not a marketing expert. It handles multiple screens well and is very reliable.

Pros: I love the ability to send files remotely to my clients and how I am able to reboot the clients computer into safe mode and still have my remote connection to the client so I don't have to talk then through this process.

Cons: I really don't have anything that I don't like about this software but one thing that could be improved they don't have much control over is when I go to reboot a client sometimes it doesn't bring the computer back online.

Cons: Lack of support for connecting to MAC PC's.

Pros: With the recent update, the ability to now view multiple remote sessions at one time. It is also very easy to transfer files with the drag and drop feature.

Cons: The application crashes occasionally and sometimes logs me out in the middle of working, saying that I am logged in elsewhere when I'm not. This occurs maybe once every 1-2 weeks.

Pros: It's easy to use. I don't think there is a limit on the unattended clients so it's simple to drop on customers machines and or servers so that I can check up on them whenever I need to. I don't remember ever not being able to connect to a machine.

Cons: I have had trouble getting some people to go to the site correctly and not type fixme.it.com. Not fixme's problem but the .it extension is confusing for some people. Dropping files to a desktop is very slow. I will usually use a cloud file transfer if I have to move anything large.

Overall: Remote access to computers at a reasonable cost. Saves me a lot of time driving to customer sites. Because it saves me time it allows me to do things I wouldn't do if I had to visit a site.

Pros: The ease of use of both the client software and the customer support side software is fantastic. Also the ability to have a custom landing page for your customers to use has been great.

Cons: As of right now we havent found any drawbacks to comment on.

Overall: FixMe.IT has been the solution we have been looking to find for our support team for a while. We tried other solutions for remote support of our base and often found them to be confusing to our customers to get it started and constant barriers on what we could and could not do for various tiers. FixMe.IT has been extremely smooth to get rolling and I have received multiple comments from our support team on how great it has been on helping them get customers issues resolved quickly and easily.

Pros: I like that the software tells me if the computer is in use, that's unique, I like the drag and drop file transfer, multiple connections simultaneously. Price is right.

Cons: I wish there was an app for my mobile phone so I can remote control on the go like LogMeIn for example.

Overall: Great remote administration for a very reasonable price.

Pros: The operation is easy for my customers/users. They dont fumble with it like other applications when trying to start it, and unattended installation makes it easy for them to call and ask me to look over their shoulder.

Cons: Unattended access fails on some of my desktops, but I don't know why. This requires me to involve the user and start a session and then install unattended access again.

Overall: I can support my users much better, and I am not loaded up with a lot of features that I do not need.

Use daily for work - no issues at all, works great!

Pros: The latest update allowing us to have multiple desktops open and switch between them has been a gamechanger. Unattended access is fantastic, and we haven't run into any showstopping issues yet.

Cons: No Mac client or ability to remote into a computer from an Android device - those two would put it over the edge.

Good experience with the product. We use it daily to support all of our customers.

Pros: Ease of use. It allows us to organize our internal users in groups and that saves much time when connecting to assist the unmanaged users.

Cons: That it shows in the task bar and loses connection to the FixMe server which makes it difficult for us to connect to those computers setup with unmanaged connections.

FixMe.it makes remote support simpler. It's second to none and what we use exclusively for clients.

Pros: It is a browser based product that doesn't require bulky installs or complicated setups on the client end.

Cons: Until recently, we were limited to only one instance at a time. This made performing support task for more than one client difficult.

Overall: I was able to support clients worldwide with a simple setup process for my clients.

This tool is very easy to use and makes our life easier when assisting others.

Pros: simple and easy to use. The client software has a small footprint. It is easy for the customer to start to software to let the tech connect in.

Cons: Occasionally it takes a long time for the expert app to load on the techs pc. Also the number pad sometimes duplicates keystrokes on the clients machine.

Such a great alternative to the Logmein monster who years ago raised my rates on pro.

Pros: The service provides instant protected access to client computers as a one-off support session, but also provides unattended access for ongoing maintenance and remote management. The clipboard functionality as well as the file transfer work much better than the default LogMeIn experience. This is head and shoulders above other services at a price point that demands a subscription.

Cons: The only issue we occasionally have is some latency from some of the computers we support, but I suspect this is due to slow internet on their end.

Overall: Remote Support, Remote Maintenance, Unattended Access, Instant File Transfer, Shared Clipboard, Chat Window for client interactions.

I've been using for over 3 years after switching from a software vendor product. Meets my SMB needs

Pros: The recent multiple connections feature is fantastic. We like the way it is continually progressing.

Cons: Hardly any cons at all, no real complaints. That said, the interface could be inproved a bit. We would really like to have a "last seen" column.

Overall: Quick and easy support for all our Windows clients.

Pros: The ease of setting up new clients, the unattended remote support feature, and the ability to share a license among our staff.

Cons: Does not support the Mac platform. The beginning price point should allow two simultaneous support sessions.

Pros: software is very user friendly, you can setup up to 150 unattended computers, access a remote computer in seconds, price

Cons: FIxme is not compatible with OS X. I would also like to have an option to upgrade my plan to support more than 150 unattended computers

Windows permission prompts are visible.

Never had to use their Tech Support.

Cons: There is no resident daemon process to connect an unattended PC.

Cons: Inability to bypass UAC. Inability to run at service (instead of having the dialogue box open in order to maintain connection)

Pros: It is very easy to use, I can download the program on any computer if I have to quickly connect to a client

Cons: I wish I could use with MAC computers. I utilize Team Viewer to work with MAC computers. I cannot believe you are forcing me to write more words . . .

Pros: Easy to use, doesn't require install, get through most firewalls. Support has been there to help all the time.

Cons: Keyboard will stick on caps lock some times even though local caps Lock is off. Nothing else it works great

Pros: The service's reliability is very good- near 85 percent of connections without any loss of connectivity during sessions.

Cons: The loss of connectivity during sessions, once a loss occurs, seems to recur often. These losses effect me sometimes often.

Pros: The price was first and foremost, with a monthly subscription a month you can't get better than that. Surprised to find the client software very stable, robust, never down and conveniently simple. When I tell my clients to go to fixme.it to start a support session I am never disappointed!

Pros: Offers secure quick connection to assist clients. Clients appreciate that I can log in and see what they see within seconds and fix the problem and avoid having them send back-ups or screenshots.

Cons: Clients don't understand the web address fixme.it they really want to have a .com in there! That's when I really wish I could see their screen. Easily solved if I can send them a link to their e-mail.

Overall: Saves me time assisting clients online rather than getting back-ups or having them send screen shots. Or even go to their location. Allows me to pull unusual reports quickly and know I'm getting the right info on the client's software.

Been a fan for years. Best deal for the cost.

Pros: I like that the program does not need to be installed on the customers computer. It connects fast and allows for support

Cons: Sometimes when connecting to customers widows of programs open behind other windows. So this makes you minimize other windows. Also that it temporarily installs in the temp folder. If Windows security is set to not allow this the program cannot be used.

Pros: Running just a single person IT support desk, so easy to use. Users do not need to know anything past the initial installation. I have never had a issue supporting an end user. Multiple screen capable. Have never ran into any issues with the program.

Cons: I really like the newest upgrade of not having the client end having to click the accept button. I don't think I can think of anything I don't like about the fixme.

Pros: The product is easy to install and get running for the first time and the staff was very helpful in understanding the program. Easy to use and understand. Not as many problems with screen scaling as others. Cost is great

Cons: The only thing I need is a mobile app. A lot of the time all I need to do is log into a remote system to see if network equipment is up and running. It would be great if I could do this from my Android phone and not have to drag out my laptop when on the road.

Pros: FixMe.IT allows easy remote unattended connections allowing for after hours work. You can name the computers and easily see which ones are on line and currently being used by the client. It also allows for remote rebooting. The client never gives me the user password/login. The software automatically knows it and stores it.

Cons: Some company firewalls prevent the installation. But normally, other softwares are blocked as well.

Overall: The address is easy to give to the client and for the client to install. If needed, the install can be switched to a non-attended version.
