Pros: The simplicity of usage. The interface is clean. The interface is not overburdened and cluttered. The interface is quick.

Cons: The software is Microsoft Windows only. I would like to see an Ubuntu Linux or other Debian linux or an Apple Mac version.

Overall: Ease of connecting with our mobile users without having them come to the office.

Fixme is a great remote control app.

Pros: Fixme remote control software is easy to use and is very dependable product. I service approximately 115 PC's at random times.

Cons: Fixme Remote control software has one down fall in my option. that is it doesn't have a mobile app option which being an IT person would come in very handy.

Great value for the money but lacks a very helpful feature

Pros: For the most part, the software works very well. I have been able to connect to nearly all of my client computers. I do like the ability to have a person for to fixme.it and start a support session for a "one off" support call.

Cons: I'm still waiting for the ability to have multiple logins (not simultaneous) for a single account. I need to be able to give a specific person access to a group of client computers for remote support. I.e. If I have groups named Client A, Client B, and Client C, I want to another person be able to log in with their email and password and have access to Client C computers. There is also a minor issue of some sort with Server 2008. On a regular basis I am not able to connect to that computer. It appears the connection works but I never get the screen for remote access. When that server is rebooted I have access for a few days but then something happens and I can only RDP to that server.

Pros: simple and easy to use. The client software has a small footprint. It is easy for the customer to start to software to let the tech connect in.

Cons: Occasionally it takes a long time for the expert app to load on the techs pc. Also the number pad sometimes duplicates keystrokes on the clients machine.

Been a fan for years. Best deal for the cost.

Pros: Quick loading and easy to explain. I love the new features for automatically connecting now. I use this daily!

Cons: No Mac support. Please work to get the ability to connect to Macs and then this software will be the best on the market.

Pros: Ease of use and easy way to transfer data to your customers . Desktop support for multiple monitor.

Cons: Doesn't support MAC but other than that this software is fantastic support tool and I highly recommend it

Overall: Remote control and access to customers pc at a reasonable price

Good product at a reasonable price. Came to you after ScreenConnect pumped price too high.

Pros: Unattended access to hundreds of client computers for my computer services business is helpful for us and for them. Solid product, keep up the good work!

Cons: It would be nice to be able to hide the icon on the client computer. I can understand the philosophy to not include this feature, but it is something that my clients and I used to appreciate about ScreenConnect.

Overall: I got a good product at a reasonable price. As a computer administrator I use this to login and help clients with their computers.

Easy to use software that gets me working on a user's computer very quickly.

Pros: The ease of connecting to a remote user in need of support, along with all of the tools that are available to me to facilitate that support, are the strengths of FixMe.

Cons: Can't think of any cons for the software. As someone who is used to free remote software options, paying for FixMe really is worth the cost

I have used other remote clients and for the value and the features fixme is the best.

Pros: My clients are from all over the country and with a few simple clicks I am able to help them out and I can do this from any where I am.

Cons: I really like the newest upgrade of not having the client end having to click the accept button. I don't think I can think of anything I don't like about the fixme.

Overall: I get to work from any location and still be able to help my clients.

for the price its excellent. would pay a little extra for more features

Pros: it always works and the connection quality is great. the ability to save unattended clients is a great feature as well.

Cons: no apple support. i feel like the development on this has taken way too long.
would also like an option to generate a client ID for customers to input on a web browser for us

Overall: i can quickly and easily help my clients comfortably.

Pros: Doesn't download anything to client's computer, we have never encountered an instance where we were unable to use the product for remote connections

Cons: Nothing really, this product does what we expect it to do. We have been using this product for seevral years and to date we have not encountered any issues.

Good solid remote desktop tool that doesn't require install and gets past most firewalls.

Pros: Easy to use, doesn't require install, get through most firewalls. Support has been there to help all the time.

Cons: Keyboard will stick on caps lock some times even though local caps Lock is off. Nothing else it works great

Overall: It allows me to do my job from wherever.

Pros: The ease of use, support, features, price. Never had one problem. This software has all the features of the more expensive remote support software out there for a fraction of the price. And it's customizable to your business.

Cons: To be honest I don't have any Cons. The software just works that great. I recommend to anyone who is looking for something like this.

Pros: It's easy to install and it always works. It's also very easy to direct a client to the support site and install the software.

Cons: It would be nice if there was an iPad and/or iPhone administration app so I could use the service on different devices.

Overall: Easy remote access to client either unattended or on-demand.

Pros: The record keeping I do forget which system I serviced some times and this give me a record for billing.

Cons: the software does not work with mac computers many of my customer have Macs so this creates a problem.

Overall: It is much easier to work with and my billing is up for remote support.

Pros: The price and ease of use. Having the capability to use unattended access has been terrific. I also like the easy to use user interface for my customers

Cons: Having to pay for it. I haven't run across any cons.

FixMe.IT offers three file transfer options, including drag-and-drop, copy-paste and the 'Send File' button. The latter allows you to transfer only one file at time, and maybe that's why you're experiencing problems with sending files other than just a PDF document. Pros: One of the coolest software to debug or access machines remotely.
Because of this it allows us to remotely resolve issues that incur in our systems without any hassle. A must have tool for any IT organisation. Features such as clipboard transfer, drag and drop and copy paste options for file transfer are very useful.

Cons: There is really no much downsides or shortcoming in the software. I rate it very high as per my experience. A must have tool.

Overall: IT Support team uses this software to debug issues in our system. We use it remote logins at times.

Pros: Reliable and easy to use, with the best price I could find for the features I needed. The unattended access is easy and very convenient.

Cons: My largest "con" is that when I change the name of a client computer, I have to uninstall and reinstall the FixMe.IT agent to have the new name show up in the "unattended" list. This is a small issue.

Overall: Remote access to computers for administration, can save me a 2 hour round trip to fix a simple computer problem.

I have been very pleased with the my overall experience. Product works well.

Pros: Ability to connect to multiple computers at the same time, is a very useful. As an I.T. professional, I routinely connect to many computers at once, when deploying many computers at once. Or when stopping a virus attack, I can quickly get to all computers on any network I need to.

Cons: Techinline Ltd billing system, no grace period. they claim 1 day but haven't seen that yet. keeps cancelling my service, if payment is not received on 1st attempt. Other suppliers will try more than once before cancelling anything.

Overall: I do not have to leave my office to service my multi-national customer base.

By design, the Bluesnap system cancels a declined order on the following day after the original failed auto-renewal attempt. The main purpose of this is to ensure that there are no subsequent repeat charge attempts whenever any payment is declined. At the same time, we assure you that the FixMe.IT application provides a 1-day grace period, which means that we keep your subscription active for 1 full day whenever the auto-renewal payment is not processed by Bluesnap. We also reach out with a failed renewal notice and provide instructions for submitting the payment. After one day, i.e. when the subscription expires, you may use the 'Renew License' option within the Expert app to submit the payment. Pros: I like the unattended option the best. Makes it easy to check multiple systems fast. The program is small and downloads quickly even with a slow internet connection

Cons: I really wish it work on Macs. I have the need to help them on occasion. I think that the log is cumbersome, have not been able to view them easily.

Pros: The recent multiple connections feature is fantastic. We like the way it is continually progressing.

Cons: Hardly any cons at all, no real complaints. That said, the interface could be inproved a bit. We would really like to have a "last seen" column.

Pros: Easy to use software, that is launched from a desktop application. Shows if the system is in use, provides file transfers, desktop sharing, as well as unattended access. Accessing clients systems is easy as well.

Cons: None.

I would really like to see a remote monitoring option that would provide emails or a text when a client goes down.

Overall: The cost is not terrible, like some of the competitors, I come from the era of "free LogMeIn". I was looking for a compliant solution that offered similar features, and this met the bill.

Simple product to use, easy to get customers connected or to get on with unattended clients.

Pros: FixMe.IT is really simple to use and has some useful tools: file transfer is simple, as is screen sharing, plus you can use a pen to highlight things on the screen or change the mouse to a red dot to guide people around the screen. And the software is inexpensive when you consider you can run both new remote support sessions and unattended clients from the same console.

Cons: The ONLY issue I have with the software is that it is not the quickest to connect and sometimes you are left wondering what is going on.

Pros: I like that the software tells me if the computer is in use, that's unique, I like the drag and drop file transfer, multiple connections simultaneously. Price is right.

Cons: I wish there was an app for my mobile phone so I can remote control on the go like LogMeIn for example.

Pros: I'm a small business offering managed services (MSP) to my clients. Remote Monitoring solutions usually include some form of remote access but it's no comparison to FixMe. By keeping them separate I don't have to be concerned about setting up access all over again if I switch RMM solutions in the future. For my residential clients I can use FixMe in conjunction with apps such as CCleaner Cloud to connect and then patch applications. FixMe is the framework in which I build my business.

Cons: I would like to see electronic auditing as a future feature. I want to be able to see the system specs on a unattended system without having to connect and view it manually. A Mac client would also be nice.

My experience so far has been great.

Pros: When we switched over to this software, we were looking for something simple that would allow us to log into our customers computers and perform technical support or training online. This program has been very easy to use, easy to explain to customers how to start it on their end, and pretty robust in terms of getting through firewalls (we had some customers that we could never connect to with our previous software)

Cons: There is really nothing that I dislike about this software. It does exactly what I want it to do, with minimal effort on my part.

Overall: I can easily connect with my customers for 1 on 1 troubleshooting or web-based training.

It is a great affordable products that we have been using with no issues for about 6 months.

Pros: It was very easy to train my reps. on the new product. The customers find it quick and easy and they don't have to go through any lengthy downloads.

Cons: I have really don't have anything negative to say. The only complaint I get once in a great while is difficulty when trying to transfer a file other than a pdf.

Pros: We like the straight forward interface and usage. Because this software is very competitive on price, we can now set this up for all office users and simply stay under our total seat limit at any point in time. Training all users was easy as the software is very uncomplicated and modern.

Cons: It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of other alternatives such as process infrmation, mobile, admin centre, etc. For us we never needed those bells and whistles anyway so this wasn't really an issue.

Easy to install and easy to use. No issues at all and great value for the price!

Pros: Very easy to use, simple set-up on client side, simple dashboard interface, reports for logins & duration, remote reboot option, can set-up groups so all my personal computers are under one group and clients under another,

Cons: No remote printing capability, cannot blank remote screen, It would be nice to access my client computers through a website login for times when I'm not at a computer that has the Expert application downloaded.

Overall: Most of my clients are out of state, so I would not have a business without a secure, easy-to-use remote access program. The rate is very reasonable for my small home-based accounting business. I searched through alot of remote programs and FixMe.IT has exceeded my expectations.

Pros: Works pretty much every time without issue and very easy to use. I've used this in my business since inception over 7 years ago and have no plans on changing. Very flexible payment options that can be changed at the drop of a hat.

Cons: There no mac support currently but I know this is under development, once thats in place there wont be any cons'.

Pros: We needed a backup to our main remote support program (that has integrations and other features we need, but doesn't always work on client computers). FixMe.IT is able to reliably connect to our Windows clients

Pros: Offers secure quick connection to assist clients. Clients appreciate that I can log in and see what they see within seconds and fix the problem and avoid having them send back-ups or screenshots.

Cons: Clients don't understand the web address fixme.it they really want to have a .com in there! That's when I really wish I could see their screen. Easily solved if I can send them a link to their e-mail.

Overall: Saves me time assisting clients online rather than getting back-ups or having them send screen shots. Or even go to their location. Allows me to pull unusual reports quickly and know I'm getting the right info on the client's software.

Pros: The product is really easy to use and is deadly reliable. No issues with operating system variations or other individual PC differences, seems to always fire up and run just fine. AND, it the cost is amazingly low when compared to competitors.

Cons: The product works quite well and does what it is advertised to do. I wish I could store a few more "Unattended" connections as we presently manage in excess of 1000 PCs. Otherwise, nothing comes to mind.

Overall: It is generates fare more revenue that we expend paying for it.

Pros: That it is simple enough to connect to our customers to help them and get eyes directly on the issue they're having and correct it as quickly as possible.

Regarding the ability to open multiple expert apps at the same time, I would say that this is more of a licensing question rather than a con. Our licensing is based on concurrent technicians, which means that you can open only one expert app using your account at a time. To have it opened on multiple machines at once, you will need more licenses. However, you can share your account with others if needed (provided that you're not using it yourself), create sub-logins and run as many concurrent sessions as you need to. Best, Dan | Techinline

Pros: We have used this product for years and we couldn't give the level of support we do without it. It allows us to take care of most of our clients issues without leaving our office and lets us work on a number of different clients at the same time. It actually does allow us to be multiple places at once. Without FixMeIt we would need to hire more people to provide the same level of service. A fantastic product, great support and they are always open to hearing ways to enhance or improve the product. Then throw in the great pricing and there is nothing like it!

Cons: None I can think of. We are always putting in suggestions to add features like notification when one of the clients goes of line, etc. Their support staff response quickly and gives the ideas consideration. This is really a pro, rather than a con but the form to complete this survey required me to put in at least a 100 characters in the Cons.

Overall: Saves time, trips and the number of employees we need to support our clients quickly.

Pros: The software uses little pc system resources when running on my laptop. It also seems to take less internet bandwidth than other systems. It is also very simple when instructing remote users to setup to allow remote access.

Cons: The biggest con that I have with this software is that there is no mobile (iPhone or iPad) application. Many cases I'm in the field with my mobile devices only and need remote access to clients.

Overall: 1. Ease of use for remote users to allow access.
2. Simple setup for recurring remote access.

Pros: Price of course, easy to use, if you login to a domain environment it will prompt for domain admin credentials, some other application doesn't, it will keep session available when you switch user name or logout. love the last update multiple session at the same time. Pros: Simple and reliable as well as being great value for money. Slowly but surely features are being added such as the recent update to allow multiple remote control screens at once (previously you could have multiple connections, but only remote control one at a time)

Cons: Software doesn't support OSX so I'm forced to use Teamviewer for my OSX customers. Also it would be nicer if the app was also web based so we could use any computer to remote control etc without installing software, even if it was more limited.

Overall: Cost effective and fast remote control for unattended and one off connections........exactly what you need.

Pros: Easy to use interface. Able to open multiple sessions. The price is great. Really cool that you can boot into safe mode remotely. We use it as one of our main tools for network administration.

Cons: Very few cons to this software. The service takes a bit to startup at login. Would love a hotkey to stop/start screen control. Often I will be watching a users screen and if they are moving their mouse, I can't move mine without controlling theirs. Our workaround has been to enable to pen on the screen so we are no longer controlling the mouse. Would like an easier way though like a hotkey on my keyboard.

It has all of the features you can expect at the price point.
It is a very solid program. I have never had an issue with it. It always works.
Support is good and responsive.

Cons: It is a little light on features, but at the price point, I don't expect much more. It would be nice if it auto-refreshed the unattended list. Sometimes you have to go back to the unattended in order to find out of the computer is back online after a reboot because sometimes the information on the home page doesn't update as quickly.

Overall: Remoting into any Windows PC either via a very convenient pin or unattended access.

We have had great success with Fixme.IT

Pros: Ease of use for us as the service provider.

Cons: It is a bit cumbersome for the client to get the software loaded. Also having it not work for MAC is a huge problem for us.

Pros: Being able to set up unattended access so that I can preform the needed help without having to wait to have someone at the remote computer.

Cons: I would like to be able have discounted pricing for additional seats at a lower number than 20. We are a small company that will likely never need 20 seats.

Overall: Much lower amount of travel to remote locations

FixmeIT is the best support tool for the money that I have ever purchased for my business.

Pros: The price for the features. I considered other products but they were too expensive for my budget. I use the unattended client feature at least monthly and save myself 125 miles and 2.5 hours of travel almost every month. It took me awhile to figure out the file transfer function ( I used the programs help library to understand it) from the client to me but once I did I use it almost every session.

Cons: I have had some client connection problems but it has been almost always the client not understanding their own virus protection product.

Overall: 1. It is cost effective to me the small consultant.
2. It saves me time and money consulting.
3. It helps the clients understand what I am telling them because I can show them just like I was on site.

Pros: Ease of use and it's features for supporting multiple displays. Addition of ability to control more than one computer at a time was a great update.

Cons: Wish they had a way to set it to low bandwidth so that high res background pictures would not attempt to send over slower connections or to tell it to not send so it improves user experience when bandwidth is limited.

Pros: I have been using this software for about 5 years now and for the price it has meet all my needs.
I can connect to all my clients in an instant and monitor for several days if needed

Cons: I am currently experiencing some issues with the new version as far as when you first connect the default is " full screen" and this has several issues. one is when in full screen I can not use my clients task bar on the bottom of the screen. I have to shrink it to a "window" so I can use there task bar.

I've been using Techinline (FixMe.IT) for several years. It's been dependable and a great value

Pros: - simplicity: Software is focused on handling the most important tasks well.
- price: I haven't checked recently, but when I signed up for FixMe.IT, they were about half the price of the nearest competitor.
- features: Unattended access, reboot & reconnect

Cons: - the name: While "FixMe.IT" is very clever and short, it's somehow difficult for users to understand over the phone. "F" and "S" are often indistinguishable, and once people hear "Six", their brain can't make the switch to "F". It's a minor annoyance at the beginning of the call, but it happens all the time.
- doesn't work with Macs. Originally I had one Mac user to support, but now I have 3 or 4 and the list is growing. It would be very helpful to have just basic remote control of Macs.

Overall: saved money over other options.
helped me provide better service to clients.

Very satisfied with this app for my small business needs.

Pros: Ease of use and reliable app. I can use it to take control of user's computer to resolve small issues when an in person visit is cost prohibitive.

Cons: Not compatible with Mac platform. I handle many Apple/MAC clients and have to use teamviewer. I have inquired about adding MAC capability and was told it would be added but no word has been given.

Pros: For a software developer who occasionally needs to connect to a client PC to perform support, FixMe.IT is an excellent choice. What do I like? Easy to install. Easy to have client install the software to allow remote access. For client PC's where there is a need to connect often, there is a handy option, with client permission, to connect to the client PC in unattended mode, whether the client PC is logged in or not - just has to be powered on. Can put a link on my website that my clients can use to start a support session, without even going to FixMe.IT's website. Once connected, it's quick and responsive.

Cons: File transfer. Sometimes the drag/drop feature between my PC and the client PC works - other times not and I have to use their embedded file transfer command. This is not a show-stopper.

Pros: Easily group pc for clients, adding clients easy. Multiple monitor support good, Screen scaling works well.

Cons: None so far. I have used this service daily for more than 2 years with only one outage. Sometimes have problems installing the un-attended client on windows 10

Pros: This software has a minimal footprint but maximum coverage. It just works and it works as if it was designed by user not a marketing expert. It handles multiple screens well and is very reliable.

Cons: The name, it's hard to say fixme.it over the phone without having to spell it for the end user. This is a time waster.

Overall: Couldn't do my job without it, and it's affordable

Allows me to provide the level of support my agents expect without having to drive!

Pros: I find the software to be very easy to use. It has a quite reasonable price as well. I have used it for 5.5 years.

Cons: I have not found a single problem with using the software. TechInline / Fixme. It has always met my needs.

Pros: Very easy lightweight software that does what it needs to do. It is easy to get clients to connect and reliably works. Priced well and is part of the reason I use it.

Cons: No Max OSX support and does not support mobile to my knowledge. I hope that they soon offer these as the lack of this does make we look at other products that could be better suited.

Overall: Reliable product that does what I need at a price I find reasonable.

This is a great product for user remote support!

Pros: Easy remote user connection.

Cons: There is no resident daemon process to connect an unattended PC.
Nothing else I can add here. No other complaints.

Pros: Running just a single person IT support desk, so easy to use. Users do not need to know anything past the initial installation. I have never had a issue supporting an end user. Multiple screen capable. Have never ran into any issues with the program.

Pros: Ease of use when directing customers to the site and response of customers. Use of switching between unattended support and support is easily done witha click on a button.

Cons: That the resolution is defendant on the customers computer and cannot be changed on my end. With other remote programs the resolution is matched to mine.

Pros: I am the IT administrator of a medium size corporation and my field personnel use this software on a daily basis. It is easy to use and is one of the best investments we have made. The unattended computer feature is a great addition to the software and with it we manage locations in two states and nine locations. Of all the products we tested, FixMe.it was the best software for our purposes. The couple of times I contacted customer support I was immediately helped by a knowledgeable employee and resolved my issues promptly. Great product!!

Cons: I can't say we have found any "cons" , there is always room for improvements in any software package but we have found nothing to complain about with FixMe.it.

Overall: Allowed us to service and manage computers in areas away from our corporate office.

Pros: I love that FixMe.it is affordable and works just as well as some other better known apps that do the same thing. It is super easy to use, just port the person you are trying to help to the website and your off.

Cons: I'm really not sure what to say about the cons. I honestly have no complaints about the product or any of my dealing with them.

Pros: Fairly simple with most of the useful features anyone could want in a product like this. Lacks a couple of features the competition has, but those aren't critical.

Cons: Expert application only works on Windows, wish there were a version for iOS. (I can remote-control my PC from my iPhone with VNClite so it CAN be done.)

Also, its easy to transmit a file from the expert PC to the client PC; there is no feature to do the reverse. Why not?

Pros: Inexpensive for the functionality you get. Fairly easy for the client to use.

Cons: Often the unattended access doesn't connect the first time and may take disconnecting and reconnecting 3 or 4 times. When it finally does work it's only after letting it sit for a couple minutes.

Pros: Easy to use for my clients. Direct them to the website, install a plugin, and you're in! Customer service was quick to respond with a billing issue I had. It's nice to be able to restart the client computer without having to have the user be there every minute while you are working.

Cons: Won't work from my Mac. I knew this from the start, so it was not a deal breaker. That is my only pet peeve. I hope that they can have a Mac version of the Expert software soon.

Overall: Quick response for my clients in need of a quick fix remotely. Ease of use and relatively inexpensive.

Pros: It's easy to use and set up. I like the fact that I can have unattended access to client machines. Many times a client tells me to fix items for them. With unattended access, I can do this at night/early mornings or on weekends and it doesn't inconvenience my client.

Overall: It gives me the ability to have unattended access to client machines.
I wish it could be used with mac. Some of my clients have mac and as a result I had to get an additional software to handle their support. I don't offer unattended access for them, so it's not a big deal, but I'd prefer to only use one software for support needs.
