### "FixMe is exaclty what I need"

Amazing consistency, fast, stable, can keep up for extended periods of time, can enable always on remote.

Pros

FixMe can do one off, or dedicated remote control. Simple, never have any problems.

Cons

Only con, file transfer is kind of weird, other than connection issues that are not FixMe issues, it worked every time.

I found FixMe.IT's service extremely useful after struggling with a network that consisted of a couple of routers, a switch, and a Wi-Fi access point. I just wanted to connect to my network from home and I couldn't make it work. I emailed their support team and they helped me identify the problem and fixed it quickly.

Pros

I have been using FixMe.IT for a few years now and recommend it to anyone looking for remote support or IT Service Management. I have been using the service for 2 years now and during that time I have been able to help many customers. I always get back to them within 30 minutes and the experience is always very friendly. They have a great team of customer service professionals that are always ready to assist with your IT problems. I highly recomended it.

Cons

It takes really long to reconnect after lost connection problems. We had many connection problems because the application could not get full authorization from the operating system.

The software is straight forward and super easy for the clients to get connected, definitely recommend it for any small to medium business that needs remote support.

Cons

Doesn't always support full screen, sometimes it doesn't optimize well with older versions of windows.

FIxMe.IT has changed the way I do business. It has made my life so much easier. I can be productive during all hours of the day and night. FixMe.IT has helped me to help my customers.

Pros

I could go on and on about this product. It has LITERALLY changed the way I do business. I used to have to go onsite for all issues both big and small. Now I can remote into my customers computer and boom - I can fix whatever is going on - I can SEE what my customer wants me to see - I can have remote access to the computers I need access to and work on computers after work hours. It has made my life so much easier.

Cons

There is LITERALLY nothing I do not like about this product. It has all the things I need and want for this type of work.

Pros

Multiple remote clients. Able to see if the user is working on the machine before connection (this is a unique feature!)

Cons

Its just opensource RAT software, with a few added features. Not enough features to warrant the cost...However, I am hoping for more features, such as multiple screen handling. Need Expert Client to remember the sort order & layout of Unattended Clients

RAT (Remote Access Trojan) is a type of malware that's used to remotely control computers for illegal purposes, while FixMe.IT is a legit application that's used for remote technical assistance. It cannot be used for secretly monitoring the remote user's activity or controlling the remote user's machine without their knowledge or prior consent, and the application's code is not publicly available. As for the features, and the ability to handle multiple screens in particular, we've recently introduced a new Multi-Window Control functionality that allows you to view and control multiple remote desktop windows simultaneously, share files between the active sessions, and specify scaling and image quality for each window. Makes my life easier to fix things for clients instead of trying to walk them through or have them describe error messages.

Pros

Ease of use and the ability to setup unattended access clients. The ability for it to run as a service so that users do not need to be logged in for unattended access to work and you can easily switch between windows users on a machine without having to reconnect.

Cons

Current inability to rename groups of unattended access machines. Inability to search on group names in filter list (filter only works on machine names). Inability to have systems on low bandwidth connections reduce. Would like confirmation option when clicking to share \*MY\* desktop with end user (blue button, because I have accidentally clicked that button when trying to click the yellow one and there is no way to back out before first sharing your desktop with the end user). No OSX/MacOS support.

I can't recommend this program enough. It solves all of my needs to connect to PCs I own, and other PCs. The "unattended" client feature is great.

Pros

This program is so simple to use. I primarily use this program for my daily remote work on our server and desktop PCs, but we also use it for connecting to our numerous remote locations. I've never had a problem connecting or working on computers. It's invaluable for my job.

Cons

I would say the only difficulty I have with this program is directing a client to get to the website to start the session. If the computer user needs me to connect to their computer, and they have very little computer skills, sometimes it takes a few tries to get them to find "fixme.it" in their browser. This is more of a user issue, but still, it takes a bit of time occasionally.

With this software solving a problem on a customer or colleagues pc is made very easy and faster

Pros

It is a very good software for working with or troubleshooting remote computer the multi-session support allows you to work on multiple computers at once hence help you multitask and achieve your aim faster. It also supports file transfer which also makes working remotely way easier. It also allows you to record sessions which makes process review way less stressful it also means teaching someone else how to do what you did could be done by sharing the video.

Cons

The software works very well so nothing comes to mind in terms of disadvantages

### "The easiest remote tool ever"

This program has saved me so many miles on my car because I can remote in and take care of things. The pc doesn't even have to be on the network as long as it can get to the internet.

Pros

FixMe.IT is so easy to explain to the receiving party how to allow you to connect. Web based and simple. It also has features that allow you to send files back and forth, it allows you to let them see your screen as well.

Cons

There is nothing that I don't like about FixMe.IT

Saves time, trips and the number of employees we need to support our clients quickly.

Pros

We have used this product for years and we couldn't give the level of support we do without it. It allows us to take care of most of our clients issues without leaving our office and lets us work on a number of different clients at the same time. It actually does allow us to be multiple places at once. Without FixMeIt we would need to hire more people to provide the same level of service. A fantastic product, great support and they are always open to hearing ways to enhance or improve the product. Then throw in the great pricing and there is nothing like it!

Cons

None I can think of. We are always putting in suggestions to add features like notification when one of the clients goes of line, etc. Their support staff response quickly and gives the ideas consideration. This is really a pro, rather than a con but the form to complete this survey required me to put in at least a 100 characters in the Cons.

I have used Logmein, Teamviewer and Fixme extensively along with sharing some small use with other products. FixMe is by far the easiest for my company and its customers. Install is easy and it is safe. I support a lot of the medical community and it being HIPAA compliant is a big plus.

Pros

Easy to have remote users install. Simple console. Great value for money.

Cons

No Apple support, no multi user support.

Pros

I used this software whenever there was a user issue. You can log into user's machine using this software and get a remote login. The reliability is high in this software. Also, it has great security. Also, the user-friendliness is very high.

Cons

There is no negative points about this software. I liked everything about this software.

easy customer access for support

Pros

Works pretty much every time without issue and very easy to use. I've used this in my business since inception over 7 years ago and have no plans on changing. Very flexible payment options that can be changed at the drop of a hat.

Cons

There no mac support currently but I know this is under development, once thats in place there wont be any cons'.

ease of use, easy to install and manage accounts. The ability to transfer files too and from the client and pre install the client software is very helpful.

Cons

It can be challenging at times to switch in and out of the dual screen modes. at times a window will open on the screen you're NOT currently viewing and you may not realize this until you go the non-open screen.

FixMe.IT has been the solution we have been looking to find for our support team for a while. We tried other solutions for remote support of our base and often found them to be confusing to our customers to get it started and constant barriers on what we could and could not do for various tiers. FixMe.IT has been extremely smooth to get rolling and I have received multiple comments from our support team on how great it has been on helping them get customers issues resolved quickly and easily.

Pros

The ease of use of both the client software and the customer support side software is fantastic. Also the ability to have a custom landing page for your customers to use has been great.

Cons

As of right now we havent found any drawbacks to comment on.

Pros

Reporting the above case (user revokable unattended access) would be taken in consideration by FixMe and that’s the last we heard about it. (almost a year now)

Pros

Cheap and stable is the opposite of my ex so that’s a plus. Price -> Affordable per admin (unless you have 150+ unattended clients) Stability -> No downtime experienced Self updating client

Cons

\- No OSX expert app - No Android expert app - No IOS expert app - No client app for the above either, but that’s clear when you buy. - Unattended client access can be revoked by the user without any hassle. (which isn’t helping if your client computers are used by schoolchildren) - For every 150 unattended seats you need to buy an extra admin license, whether you have more than 1 admin or not

Pros

Rocket fast access, unlimited troubleshooting capabilities, real time online status indicators, multiple client lists. Easy to use interface, multiple support sessions can be open at one time. Unattended access to any client machine.

Cons

No ability to force wake a machine on unattended access.

Remote Support, Remote Maintenance, Unattended Access, Instant File Transfer, Shared Clipboard, Chat Window for client interactions.

Pros

The service provides instant protected access to client computers as a one-off support session, but also provides unattended access for ongoing maintenance and remote management. The clipboard functionality as well as the file transfer work much better than the default LogMeIn experience. This is head and shoulders above other services at a price point that demands a subscription.

Cons

The only issue we occasionally have is some latency from some of the computers we support, but I suspect this is due to slow internet on their end.

Pros

It is so easy to use and even our end users are able to find it, open it, and give the code to start the session. The cost is very reasonable.

It is basic software, but that's what I like about it. It keeps the cost down and it's so easy to use.

I currently use Logmein and FixMe.IT and for the price FixMe.IT is easy to use and works as it should. you can set up unattended access. we have a link on our website to direct our clients to use when we need access that is not setup as unattended.

Cons

Only Windows based computers we can not access Apple computers

Overall, I have had a very good experience with Fixme.it, it works great and does everything I need it to do on PC's.

Pros

I like how easy it is to use and that I can set it up so I can log in when they are not around.

Cons

It has become an issue more and more that the software is not Mac compatible. This is becoming a bigger and bigger requirement and needs to be addressed soon.

Reason for choosing FixMe.IT

Mostly cost, I tried it because it was less expensive and kept using it because it worked well and did everything i needed it to do. However, more and more of my home users are moving to Mac and so it's becoming a bigger issue.
