Pros

We like the straight forward interface and usage. Because this software is very competitive on price, we can now set this up for all office users and simply stay under our total seat limit at any point in time. Training all users was easy as the software is very uncomplicated and modern.

Cons

It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of other alternatives such as process infrmation, mobile, admin centre, etc. For us we never needed those bells and whistles anyway so this wasn't really an issue.

Overall, great value for money. Saves time and makes job easier to fix issues remotely. We have tried many remote support programs, and FixMe.IT provides most of the features we need at the most reasonable price.

Pros

Easy to use on both ends, especially for the end user. Send them a link, get a client ID number – that’s it. Setting up an unattended connection is a breeze. I also appreciate the ability to customize the client app. Their support team is quick to solve any problems, and they are always open to hearing suggestions to improve the software.

Cons

It would be great if they added the ability to support Mac clients

Reliable product that does what I need at a price I find reasonable.

Pros

Very easy lightweight software that does what it needs to do. It is easy to get clients to connect and reliably works. Priced well and is part of the reason I use it.

Cons

No Max OSX support and does not support mobile to my knowledge. I hope that they soon offer these as the lack of this does make we look at other products that could be better suited.

Pros

The program is very easy to use. I have been a subscriber now for 3 years.

Cons

I have one specialized program that I use that the numeric keypad will not work with it.

We need a quick and inexpensive way to get connected to assist our customers and this gets the job done.

Pros

The price was right. We needed something to quickly connect to a client's computer that didn't cost an arm and a leg.

Cons

It's not as bandwidth efficient as some other products. Some clients have slow internet and FixMe can be a bit laggy with them.

We would occasionally use Teamviewer with customers and Teamviewer cracked down on that. Unfortunately they were extremely expensive and we settled on Fixme.IT

saves time, but the website customers go to stinks- people just cant figure out fixme.it they think its .com or whatever but they all have issues getting to it especially when using the Google search

Pros

allows us to go in and override the UAC usually, used it on a daily basis for tech support for last 2 years

Cons

We've found that here isnt a way to use it on an Apple platform which a ton of folks use unless that customer is using it via Parallels on their Apple with a windows log in. Apple iOs should be a priority for support and for the folks at Fixme.it Other then that its a nice product

Pros

I have seen this product develop over the years. There are always alternatives available but no product gets my business on a day-to-day basis like FixMe.IT. It is easy to use, the file transfer feature is the best I have experienced. It has unattended access, its easy for the clients to connect to without issues. Easy, priced right, works well. What else do you want?

Cons

I wish the product had more operating systems available. We have other products we have to use as they are on Mac, Linux and Raspbian. Wish this was available.

Pros

Ability to create a dashboard with Unattended clients I Know when a computer is online / offline I Know who is logged in Easy to install / setup Very fast, almost no lag

Cons

No way to prevent a user from removing unattended access and support team can't tell when or if this feature will ever be available. Would like to be able to log when client is online/offline.

Over all works as described

Pros

We have several remote machines that we need to go into and install software updates regular. This saves us from driving several hours in order to do a 15 minute update on a regular bases.

Cons

Overall there are cheaper alternatives that we could use, but due to time constraints at the time it was the choice that was made.

Reason for choosing FixMe.IT

This was selected due to time crunch. No real time was taken to investigate other products.

The cost is not terrible, like some of the competitors, I come from the era of "free LogMeIn". I was looking for a compliant solution that offered similar features, and this met the bill.

Pros

Easy to use software, that is launched from a desktop application. Shows if the system is in use, provides file transfers, desktop sharing, as well as unattended access. Accessing clients systems is easy as well.

Cons

None. I would really like to see a remote monitoring option that would provide emails or a text when a client goes down.

There are times we have to access a clients computer to make adjustments to their accounting software. This is much easier than trying to walk them through it on the phone. Makes life so much easier.

Cons

It would be nice if there was a Mac version of this software. I would give it 10/10 then.

I love the I can address issues by seeing the problems from the end user point without trying to visual what they are seeing.

Pros

This software has saved me hours of time. Now my sales reps are able to leave the computers open to me while they make calls, and I can upload the latest presentation or video from the home office. I've also found it very useful in training employee out of the office on new program applications.

Cons

It does seem to have issues with some Apple computers but just every now and then.

probabilmente il sito e tutto il design un po vintage, l'unica cosa che posso dire e di migliorare come aspetto grafico.

Couldn't do my job without it, and it's affordable

Pros

This software has a minimal footprint but maximum coverage. It just works and it works as if it was designed by user not a marketing expert. It handles multiple screens well and is very reliable.

Cons

The name, it's hard to say fixme.it over the phone without having to spell it for the end user. This is a time waster.

Better overall remote management of my clients computers that work remotely.

Pros

I love the ability to send files remotely to my clients and how I am able to reboot the clients computer into safe mode and still have my remote connection to the client so I don't have to talk then through this process.

Cons

I really don't have anything that I don't like about this software but one thing that could be improved they don't have much control over is when I go to reboot a client sometimes it doesn't bring the computer back online.

Pros

Ease of use and reliable app. I can use it to take control of user's computer to resolve small issues when an in person visit is cost prohibitive.

Cons

Not compatible with Mac platform. I handle many Apple/MAC clients and have to use teamviewer. I have inquired about adding MAC capability and was told it would be added but no word has been given.

If you do tech support, do yourself a favor and get fixme. Techline is obviously a well run company that puts out great products.

Pros

Reliable automatic scaling is awesome, I hated having to use scroll bars with my previous software. As a tech support person, it has all the features I need and the way the licensing works is great for me. The unattended access works perfectly. File transfer is drag and drop, and speed is very fast. I've been in the tech industry for decades and fixme is the best I've used, both technically, and cost wise.

Cons

The only reason I knocked a star off is because of the lack of apple support. It's not something I need often but would be nice to have.

Remote access to computers at a reasonable cost. Saves me a lot of time driving to customer sites. Because it saves me time it allows me to do things I wouldn't do if I had to visit a site.

Pros

It's easy to use. I don't think there is a limit on the unattended clients so it's simple to drop on customers machines and or servers so that I can check up on them whenever I need to. I don't remember ever not being able to connect to a machine.

Cons

I have had trouble getting some people to go to the site correctly and not type fixme.it.com. Not fixme's problem but the .it extension is confusing for some people. Dropping files to a desktop is very slow. I will usually use a cloud file transfer if I have to move anything large.
