Pros: The price is comparable and affordable, there is no hidden software that automatically downloads. Its stopped many of the common and not common viruses. It did not affect any of the programs or other softwares we had installed in 10 of our computers and a server.

Cons: You may need to adjust the security levels of settings on the program itself. Our IT guy did it for us as it initially interfered with our internet connection and their fire wall.

Once installed you don't even know it's there.

Pros: Love that the program runs in the background without interfering with other programs like many protection software. It also requires admin credentials to pause or stop protection which is great in the workplace.

Cons: As all programs in this field, there is always going to be some viruses and malware that slip through. Malware seems to be the most common. But the product is very good at catching the trojans.

Runs in the background without glitches or hang ups unlike competitors.

Pros: We have used ESET on our office machines for years. It runs in the background and does not cause the issues like we have had with competitor products. We like that you cannot turn off or freeze the protection without the admin password.

Cons: There have been some malware that has slipped through, but I believe you will have that with any software.

Pros: This software is installed on all of my company's computers, many of which are low performance virtual machines, with this program's low memory useage it is perfect for our business needs. There is no memory leakage due to running this program in the background, nor have we had any security breaches.

I have been pleased with the software's overall performance.

Comments: I will purchase again.

Pros: It is very proactive and will identify potential threats before they happen. It allows time to react.

Cons: I would like see discounts for multiple devices. While very affordable and multiple years coverage can be bought it's always nice to save on software.

Pros: As we are a customer with a lot of endpoint protected PCs, most useful tool for is the ERA server.
This helps us a lot in managing the clients, pushing installations and updates and more.
We are also using the ESET mail security antivirus, and this works quite well.

Cons: There were some issues with mail security clients, had to reinstall after a while.
Push installations are sometimes not working, but this is mostly due to a machine configuration.

We use ESET Endpoint Security on all our computers for more than 2 years.

Pros: The best advantage is the ESET Remote Administrator, where you can see the status of all your computers, update or install additional software and run/plan other tasks. You can deploy antivirus installations in bulk and manage your computers from here.

Fast, small, uses very little computer resources. Works seamlessly (does not slow down your computer

Pros: I am computer technican. Sometimes I see and can touch antivirus software from other vendors: Kaspersky, Symantec, McAfee, Bitdefender, AVG, Avast, etc. None of them can match ESET's speed, fast response, and completely invisible use of resources. Works well on very old computers with "Windows XP".
Also, the ESET Remote Administrator console is a must have for the network administrator. It is a user-friendly, clear, and intuitive product that allows you to manage ESET on all your company computers and phones.

Cons: Latest version of ESET Remote Administrator is like a spacecraft: large and unfocused. For a small company (up to 100 computers), such a clue is a waste of resources.

Pros: Very little noticeable effect on client performance (except during scans); - Small client footprint (much better than Kaspersky, which we used prior to switching); - Good price

Cons: - Workstations very slow during scans; - License management is confusing; - Support website, when it's working, is horrible. Confusing layout, ridiculously difficult to find what you need in any reasonable amount of time.

Easy to deploy and licensing is just as easy.

Pros: Ease of deployment. Licensing made simple. Cost is very competitive. Support is always there when you need them.

Cons: It does kick back fasle positives at times. It can be difficult to put in additions to the white list.

Overall: It allowed me to get rid of software that I was using and deploy the new software at the same time.

Comments: Using ESET 6.x with the centralized admin console and additional ESET proxy setup for worldwide distribution. Overall, the product has a lot of greate features (AV, HIPS, Firewall). However, the product is sorely lacking in two areas:

1. Central Consoel Management Policies - The way ESET pushes policies out to their clients is poorly designed. You don't just turn things on/off with a single policy. Highly annoying.

2. Firewall policy doesn't work. We are using the bult-in policy which does not allow inbound ICMP ECHO (ping). We added an inbound ping (ICMP ECHO) rule, I see it on the machines, but it still doesn't work.

Comments: This is a very good product overall, with the ease of use in mind. I used this product's free version as a backup and to scan other computers, then I decided to get on for my own use and haven't been sorry. It has already found a virus that got past the other product I used. This is a great product

Pros: Powerful, good at sniffing out viruses that other products missed

Recommendations to other buyers: Try the free version first and see how good it is, then buy it. It's worth it.

Using it for pc.

Comments: a very good product. real time protection protects and alerts from anonymous attacks

Pros: ESET Smart Security is effective against phishing attempts.

Cons: dont have any issues till now.

Recommendations to other buyers: ESET includes several security features that make it a good solution for providing more internet security than antivirus protection alone.

Pros: I have never had an issue as long as I have had this on my computers. Large footprint makes it indestructible to hackers. For the money it is awesome and customer service is excellent to work with when you renew your subscription.

Cons: Nothing. Never had an issue. You won't be disappointed if you buy this product.

Recommendations to other buyers: Don't be afraid to spend a little more because it will save you thousands in the end. Protect your investment of information, time, and resources.
