If have a lot of endpoints I definitely suggest to set a ESET PROTECT console for managing your infrastructure. The feature to block websites and usb deviced is really usefull and easy to configure like all the program is. Pros I like the user-friendly interface of Eset Endpoint Security, its super easy to find any option you are looking for. You don't need to be IT specialist to work with it without problems. If your PC is running slow or you think your computer is affected with viruses you must give this a try. 10/10 recommended. Pros It's been more than a year since I got my hands on ESET Endpoint Security and I haven't looked back ever since. If you are someone who downloads a lot of files from internet at your work you definitely need this to keep your system secure from viruses. People who exchange media using Pendrives having this is a must! The best part about ESET is that it removes the viruses that sometimes products like Avast even fail to detect. My PC has been free from viruses ever since I installed this. The UI also looks cool and it will kinda remind you of Quick Heal's UI. With the increasing ransomware attacks, this software stands like your warrior and helps you to keep your data secure. Will recommend this to anyone who needs an antivirus! Cons Something that I think ESET should work on is the pricing. I mean with so much competition in the market, they gotta offer lower prices to the businesses. Senior Data Analyst Market Research Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Best I Could Find (and I tested many)" September 8, 2022 5.0 I downloaded and tested many antivirus products against a set of known viruses (collected from security research sites) and Eset was one of the few that managed to detect all of them and also performed well when these viruses were morphed to not match any known pattern (so testing the heuristics engine). The latter test is the harder and excusable, but if I can find a virus on a research site with a few minutes googling, I'd expect my AV product to, and was shocked as some of the leading industry names to not do so. All the while using lower resources and allowing the system to stay performant (again, unlike some of the leading industry named products). I like it so much I have paid my own money for personal licences at home. We've yet to have a problem, it's not if, but when you'll be hacked, but so far, we're ahead of the curve and Eset is a big part of that. Pros I find Eset to be easy to use and administrate, also light on system resources (unlike some of the competition that would hog a machine so much you might as well have it riddled with malware, it'd run faster). It also does a good job of not bothering the users with pointless popups, only stepping in where necessary Cons Not much, always been good for us and simple to implement. Pros So many pros but I'll try to keep it concise. - First, of course, the security and malware detection is solid, thorough and stays up-to-date. - The user interface is second to none, I've used lots of different antivirus both personally and professionally and none of them hold a candle to how well thought out the interface Eset has. It's very intuitive, not too overwhelming and easy to navigate. - Installation was a piece of cake, I was able to purchase the software from the website and install with no problem at all. -It's not bloated with features I do not want and therefore does not negatively impact my systems performance. -Secured browser gives me additional security when I'm in my online bank account. -They offer a package that can include protection for your mobile devices as well! - Price is fair Cons I honestly cant think of any cons that I have experienced with this software. Plus it protects our company when access banking information. Pros I have been Eset for a while now, and the software has made some significant improvement overall with using the software adding more security features like the banking system. This software you to take control of access to firewalls and also gives users control on having a computer scanning for issues. The software has a different level of software protection to choose from. Cons The licensed to purchase this software is a bit troubling. It does give your license keys. If you need to reinstall the program in some older model, you required a user name and keycode or ID code. It just too confusing. Also, the software takes too many resources when scanning every time you reboot your computer. I've only seen one infection on a system running a current and updated version of ESET. Pros Detection rates are superior to most other products I've evaluated, and when I find an infection I often save the files and test it against other products to see. The remote management product makes deployment to large networks possible and provides a dashboard to see the status and any potential problems. Another feature that has been strongly favored among my client is Device Control which allows blocking devices that present security issues such as USB flash drives. Support is also wonderful when needed. Cons The remote management console and it's deployment methods have a slight learning curve. I have found other competing software to be slightly easier to deploy to large networks, however ESET Support was quick to walk me through what I needed to know. Review Source André L.
