Pros

I seriously cannot think of anything that I like - a shame that PrivPlus sold out. I have nothing else to say.

Cons

Everything - as stated above - there is nothing that I like about this software. I will be very happy if and when we move on to something else

Pros

I like the facility reports, that the software is web accessible, I like the dashboard and the previous providers list.

Cons

I don't like that at times I constantly get kicked out of the software. There are too many useless standard reports which makes it hard to quickly find the one I need. I don't like that there is no photo of the provider on the Provider At A Glance screen. I would like an easier way to list a street address versus a mailing address. I would like to be able to rename some fields and the Board certifications screen needs better options.

Pros

Easy to use, all in one program. Of all the programs I have used, it is the most straightforward and easy to use.

Cons

Annual support cost is high, especially when you consider how often we use support. Support service has declined.

It is easy to use and run reports. I do like the ability to have more than one window open at a time.

Cons

That we are unable to use the "Maximize" function on all screens. Is there a round about way to maximize the screen to included the data?

Pros

I love the OIG feature and how easy that is to run that report. Everything seems to flow very well with the features.

Cons

The only thing that I can think of is that it is not able to do continuous querys for the NPDB so therefore we are not using the add on because we need continuous querys. It would be nice if you could add the Death Master to CACTUS. ECHO has already done that.

How easy it is to work with and the support I need when I have a question. Easy to move from screen to screen.

Cons

Not being able to pull the program up and leave it instead of having to going in each time I need information.

Pros

Everything that I needed was a part of this program. I continue to find even more features and short cuts that save me time.

Cons

Nothing that I like least, just that we want to look at and possibly add on some other packages that would require us to move over to the Cactus format and not sure what will all be involved with that if its decided to look at the extra features.

Pros

Easy to use. The customer support is awesome and they are always helpful and quick to follow-up if a resolution cannot be done over the phone. They always go above and beyond.

Cons

Some of the functionality from Visual Cactus -> Cactus was taken away, making it harder to use. If you are not in a fully paperless environment, Visual Cactus is still the way to go.

Pros

Actually, nothing stands out. I have used many databases associated with medical staff services tasks, and there is nothing that would make CACTUS a superior system.

Cons

To be fair, I was not a part of the selection of fields, features, etc. What we have here does not help as much as I would expect a database to help - with our many tasks in this office.

Pros

The write-in privileges are easy to do. Unfortunately I do not have any additional pros and I would not recommend this product to other medical staff professionals.

Cons

It's not set up for a CVO. It takes me twice as long to complete my job then prior to using this software. Also, we received training on the Cactus web version and when the system was pushed live we were on visual Cactus. I don't think we received appropriate training and were set up for failure.

Pros

I like how easy it is to use from a DART appointment standpoint, this provides a lot of necessary functionality for our facilities.

Cons

I love that there are so many options and functions within the software but it also makes it bulky and difficult to find things and as a result many functions go unused

I like the online application and the capability of affiliation letters for public use. This has saved a lot of valuable time.

Cons

I love the ability to create my own reports and letters but there are too many steps in preparing this information.

Ease of tracking processes and renewals.

Pros

There's always a way to accomplish goals quickly. Just have to figure it out or call for help. Customer service is outstanding.

Cons

I just think that if you selling your services to a hospital, some features should automatically come along with a system where verifications are performed. Standard package should include LEMM for (state license, DEA and board cert).

It is web-based therefore, I can use it from anywhere with internet access. Reports are easily accessible.

Cons

You have to actually go into documents to find the certain document to delete..you can't delete from the verification log.

LEMM makes monitoring very easy. The online application helps eliminate much of the data entry.

Pros

LEMM!!! AppCentral and queries. Web based. Support desk is usually very helpful. It helps that we can share our screen.

Cons

User security access is not easy to learn. More training would have been very helpful. We spend a good bit of time figuring things out on our own.

Able to share the information with our co-workers on a daily basis of all changes and updates as they occur.

Pros

the queries would be my most favorite, able to keep all information in one place and attaching screen shots or pdf are wonderful

Cons

Not able to truly use for our contracts with insurance companies, a few other "small" things here and there.

Cons

It is not designed to use in a regional approach. Vendor not amenable to suggestions for improvement. Conversion severly flawed yet vendor not willing to accept any responsibility. Work takes much longer than with previous software. Many more clicks, not designed to be user friendly. Would never recommend.

Pros

The privileging section is really easy to work with. Very easy to add privileges in to Cactus. Creating queries are user friendly.

Cons

Cactus is not currently set up for a Regional Central Verification Unit to use. The sharing of data fields is not a good idea due to another entity can come in and change your data.

Cons

We were sold a module that does not function as sold and couldn't get the product installed. Told different things from different departments. If I could justify changing products to my Admin. I would.

We like the Dashboard, the LEMM module, the relative ease in creating queries, and the user interface

Cons

Lack of flexibility in table connections involving Assignment form, field character size and function, exporting, communications functionality, mass movement of providers to different address, worksheets. Customer support is often not available and sometimes of limited help.

Pros

I'm not a user of this application but I implemented it, and implementation was very smooth and application problems is almost nothing.

Cons

We are using version 3 and it is hard to add a group of users directly to the application. The way to manage the visual cactus password by changing it first in the application level then going and change it from the database level.

The customer support was great. They quickly resolved my complex problem and got us back up and running.

Cons

The mix of the Visual Cactus pieces alongside of the Web Cactus make a lot of the configuration complicated and difficult to troubleshoot. I'm looking forward to the day you have it consolidated.

My overall experience with Symplr is wonderful. We set up Symplr kiosk a month ago and we have been using it since.

Pros

The software is a very useful tool and easy way to identify our vendor reps before entering the surgery center. All vendor reps are required to wear Symplr badge.

Cons

There is no least about Symplr software. The software is very useful and powerful. No problem using it.

I cannot say since I don't currently use, but being in the cloud versus local installation is great.

Cons

There are limitations to customize (versus configure) the application. I feel customers should have that option.

Terrible. No one in Ga should waste their time or money

Pros

Nothing. They are only credentialed with one health system in Ga. You won't figure this out until you have paid and created your account. I found out within hours of creating my account and was denied a refund.

Cons

Unreasonable business practices. Little to no experience in Georgia
