Pros

pretty flexible, good customer service. would like to see better UI design to summarize provider data beyond credentialing (ie, networks) without having to dig too deep. Facility and Group modules are duplicative...requiring user to load duplicate records.

Cons

too focused on credentialing rather than network management data model has redundant fields and not too easy to add new things.. trouble handling large volumes using web services.

Access is web based and very user friendly.

Pros

I like the ease of which to enter information. Each section is very user friendly. Forwarding saved information is fast and easy with this program.

Cons

I don't really have any Cons at this time. Perhaps maybe later once we begin to utilize the system more efficiently.

Easier to run queries. Great support team.

Pros

It is intuitive. It's easy to find data as it is placed in fields that make sense. With the query feature it is easy to find your filters using paint on and then export to an excel spreadsheet

Cons

While I like the queries, I am having difficulty creating forms and documents. This does not make sense to me. Will need additional training.

I am struggling to identify a pro. We bought a Cactus product not the product we received We are very sorry we made the move to your product Not one user in the organization Is happy

Cons

too many errors Too long to install Installation team has not seemed knowledgeable ( New Team better). We have been working on this for six months

Pros

Can edit drop down from within a provider profile.

Cons

Extremely limited functionality unless you purchase all the modules necessary to make the program run as it is advertised (as credentialing software). Cactus is a blank shell with nothing but money making modules that must be added. Crummy program

So far, I see no benefits.

Pros

Query aspect is the only thing useful in this software in my opinion. Other than that, I regret the purchase.

Cons

Does not do the things I was promised it would do by the salesman who came out to demonstrate it for us.

Pros

A lot of features are more easily accessible, and more intuitive, but it will still take time to get used to.

Cons

The colors are not clear, and it's much harder to read. Hope Cactus will consider making it better.

Cons

Missing some fields and have to improvise other fields. Password management would be a great feature.

Easy to use. I have not had any problems with the features I have used so far. I had not used this software before coming to this facility. I really like it.

Cons

I have not had issues with this product therefore, I do not have cons to list. Its been easy to use with no training necessary.

Pros

The email evaluation for peers and affiliations is short, concise and is patterned after our own evaluations. It is well structured and easy to use.

Cons

I do not have any CONS concerning this application. Every portion of this system seems to work well.

Pros

What I like most about this software are the screen layouts have a smoother flow than the previous cactus.

Cons

What I like least is having to manually save the query results that previously saved automatically to the Visual Cactus folder on the hard drive.

Pros

Sqlserver database - Good customer support I don't use the software, I report on it and I helped on an implementation. I also am an administrator.

Cons

I had a good experience working with the rep and the rest of the team for a cactus implementation of a new entity. Everything went smoothly. I was in IT and I coordinated, oversaw and tested the implementation.
