It’s ideal for those who want to vent online without worrying about judgment from their real-life friends. With MarsEdit, you can focus on writing and decide what to do with it afterward. You can share it on one or multiple blogs, save it for later, or even choose to never post it. Pros MarsEdit is my go-to tool for those moments when I need a virtual, offline writing space. It’s like having a personal confessional where I can pour my thoughts and feelings onto the page, let them out, and feel a sense of relief when I'm done. Then I can choose to publish it, or not. Cons The price is a little steep. Here's the thing, even if you don't see yourself using it for more than just personal blogs, personal websites, or maybe even a personal business blog that you can upload content to, it may still be worth the money (at least it's not another subscription that will cost you even MORE money the longer you're using it). The software allowed me to work offline which was my main reason for purchasing. Pros I love the fact I can write multiple blog posts whilst away from an internet connection and it all syncs up once I reconnect and publish. Great for drafting! Cons Accidentally published to live blog several times whilst using this software. Every now and again had some formatting issues.
