Pros I like that b2evolution can be self hosted in my server which ensures the privacy i need. Its blogging capability is advanced and easy to use. Installation is a breeze as it comes with a installation wizard so even the non-technical person can install it. Further, b2evolution supports a forums system and also a knowldge base feature. When looking for a good tool for a complex CMS/Blogging application I explored most of the more common tools. I found them wanting! It was then that I chose to explore B2evolution. It required me to learn PHP/Mysql and B2evo. The level of complexity was challenging. I have not regretted my decision. Once I got past my own limitations, B2evolution became an excellent teacher, friend, and tool. I have now been through 3 upgrades and now completing a project in the current version (7.2.3). Cons Nothing! B2evo is a complete package and what it lacks you don't need. Reason for choosing b2evolution You can do things with B2evo that these others fail to achieve. B2evolution has everyrhing you need. Cons The worst thing I can think of this "does it all software" is the fact you need some time to learn the ins and outs.
