Instead, the service offered very little value, and most of the platform was automated with no meaningful customer assistance. The main issue began with the renewal. I never received any renewal reminder, no advance notice, and no confirmation request before they attempted to charge me for another full year. The renewal was completely unexpected. As soon as I saw the invoice, I canceled immediately and contacted them to explain that I had not authorized the renewal. I also disputed the charge with my bank because I did not agree to the renewal and had received no notice. After the dispute, RankingCoach cut off my access to the account but continued to send emails insisting that I still owed the full annual fee, even though I could not use the service. During my subscription, I also noticed additional unexplained charges that were never clearly explained by customer support. When I asked for clarification, I received generic responses that did not address my concerns. When I tried to resolve the renewal issue, RankingCoach refused to acknowledge the lack of notice and refused to issue a refund. They continued to send automated payment demands, even though the renewal was not authorized and I had canceled immediately. After researching other customer experiences, I discovered that many people have reported the same pattern: No renewal notice No refunds Automated emails demanding payment No real customer support Based on my experience, I believe their billing practices are misleading and unfair. I am requesting that RankingCoach stop all payment demands and close my account without further charges. Pros The only thing I initially liked about RankingCoach was the idea behind the service. The platform appeared simple to navigate, and the concept of step‑by‑step guidance for improving online visibility sounded helpful. I also appreciated that the dashboard looked organized and easy to understand. Unfortunately, the actual experience did not match the promise. While the interface seemed user‑friendly at first glance, the tools were limited, the support was minimal, and the results were not meaningful. So although the concept and layout were appealing, the overall quality and follow‑through did not deliver what I expected. Cons The quality of their customer service was extremely poor. When I asked questions or requested clarification about unexpected charges, I received vague, unhelpful responses that did not address the issue. The lack of transparency around billing and renewals also reflects low-quality business practices. Stay far away. I’m assuming any positive reviews must be fake and created by them. Originally purchased for SEO services, the product did nothing beyond what I could manage on my own, doing my own research. It honestly feels like a scam. They make it impossible to cancel. I first tried the product in 2022, thought I canceled after the trial, but apparently not. Ended up paying $480 for it, fine. I figured it HAD to be canceled now. But 2023 rolls around and I receive another annual charge. I apparently only canceled the “free” subscription which they list as a separate ACTIVE subscription. So when you “cancel your subscription” you’re only canceling a free version rather than the paid version which requires additional, much more discrete steps. Scam, right? Paid ANOTHER $480. Canceled AGAIN. 2024, I get charged again, even though the card they have on file for me is expired and doesn’t even have the same security code. I reach out to them and at first, they refuse to refund me, saying their policy requires you cancel a week in advance. Crazy considering they don’t send out any notification about the subscription renewal and also crazy considering I have been trying to cancel it for YEARS now. After some back and forth, they AGREE to refund me, tell me I will receive my refund with 7 days. 2 weeks pass by and I have not received a refund, so I reach out again and they tell me they will now only give me a refund minus a $60 fee. Clearly, they rely on businesses who don’t pay much attention to their spending accounts so that they can just conveniently forget refunds they agree to and do everything in their power possible not to give you money back while also not actually canceling subscriptions you’ve requested to cancel. You have to cancel your card in order to cancel this service. Pros Absolutely zero. Nothing. Not one thing. Cons I have tried to cancel the membership on 3 different occasions and continue to be charged.
