February 14, 2019 5.0 Great tool that helped us ranked higher in search engines. Pros Whether you're doing SEO or paid traffic, SEMrush is a great tool to help you achieve or maintain your website's rankings. I am using it for SEO and it's a big help. I can find new keywords with a click of a mouse. I can also discover the keywords ranked by our competitors. Their backlink checker tool is another great source of links. I can copy all the good links of our competitors. SEMrush also allows me to check our website's keyword rankings, position changes and all of our organic keywords. All in all, SEMrush is an excellent tool to help your business! Cons It is somewhat expensive, so some small business owners might not be able to afford them. Review Source DB Darius B. Pros I really like how much data I can pull about a prospect's or current client's site utilizing this tool. I can see where traffic has been over the last several years and where it is currently. I can understand the keywords that are driving traffic to that site. I can even run an entire site audit and give my prospect some very granular data to help fix their site or have us do it. There were definitely times where I found it faster to go to 3 or 4 different sites to get the same info when I first started using it though. Pros SEMRush without a doubt provides the most data of any competitors. The depth of the dive gives the analysis we can provide to our clients a whole different dimension. Cons It takes a LOT of practice and training to get comfortable with it. And our onboarding rep wasn't super helpful. We spent a lot more time watching YouTube videos and reading How-To's than should have been necessary. Part of being a successful blogger is writing content that converts that is also searchable. Semrush helps me figure out what people are actually looking for so I can successfully insert those keywords into my writing. Cons Semrush is a little hard to figure out at first. There are a lot of tools that seemingly do the same thing, so knowing their differences (and how to use them in conjunction with each other) is paramount to your overall success. Pros the detailed info about organic ranking. also the SEO-tool for Google Docs works like a charm. and the posting of social media/planning of the posts. Cons Not every option is for our country, and gives bad results. and it get's very expensive when adding extra modules/options. way too expensive in my opinion. Reason for choosing Semrush I did even stop the subscription. but after 6 or 7 days I regret it and got back to semmy :D Mainly because the addition of social media posting and tracking.
