If you have a dedicated SEO person, maybe they would get more out of this platform than I do because it covers a lot. Pros I really like how many different tools that SEMRush has. They cover just about everything. Sometimes it kind of seems like there is too much going on (and a lot to keep up with) but I think it's a good thing that they offer so many different things. Cons They nickel and dime you for everything. Even at a good monthly spend, if you want historical data they charge you for a historical add-on. The search traffic for keywords are just averages for 12 months. I know Google keyword data is guarded but SEMrush doesn't give great idea into search volume growth (other than just a small widget that shows lines of trends). It is a great tool for beginners and experts and is definitely worth the money that you have to spend to access all of their features. Pros SEMrush was the first all-in-one tool that I used when I started working on our SEO team. It has a ton of features that helped me fix technical issues on my client's websites. We found it very useful when it came to being efficient and it helped show great results for our client. Cons We had issues with the reports that SEMrush delivered on a monthly basis. The keyword tracking was not what we expected, so we had to find a different way to report to clients. This is useful for the content team, ppc teams and also seo teams which is great. Cons We have used some tools in the past and nothing offer more value than what semrush does so it is hard to dislike something about this. Pros Semrush is a really good tool for seo, you can get - traffic from your competition - site evolution - analitic - keyword - backlink You can analize your site and other... and have a really good idea how they work with traffic In seo is really good, but not the best because you have amazing tools like Ahref... But i think semrush is the best in SEM data why? Is the only tool that detect my ads and low ads expense. So, at least on my experience semrush is the best acurate on data on SEM. It's very user friendly and presents the information in a digestible Pros The dashboard & features are really easy to navigate. Their user-friendly interface is super digestible & the position tracking & brand monitoring tools are insightful. One of my favorite tools is the competitor analysis software and we use this a lot for association research for potential marketing opportunities. I'm pretty happy with the platform and for the time being, see myself using this for years to come. Pros It allows me to set up multiple customers at one time on the singular platform. I have a dashboard level view That allows me to see everything topically. Then, I can dig into the details as needed job improvement sites visibility and health. Cons I'd like to see a live chat option where I can get my questions answered somewhat quickly. I realize this would probably add quite a bit of cost to the platform. It is extremely helpful on seeing how the clients website is doing before and after signing up with us. It also helps with finding the CPC for certain keywords of an area. Cons This software can be confusing to use. I only use the basic feature of finding SEO rankings, but it can be used for more information. Unfortunately, it is confusing to me.
