We even canceled another SEO/SEM service that we utilized. It has been instrumental in up- leveling our clients. Pros It is easy to use. I signed up and started using it the same day. There was not a learning curve. Cons The cost was a deterrent at first. -SEMrush had a few additional features that we liked over SpyfFu. Though, I do wish it did a few more things that SpyFu does. January 18, 2019 5.0 Overall, I've had great results with the optimization of my sites and customer sites. I just do not have faster results because of the lack of time to implement all the tools that Semrush offers. Pros I can make a fairly accurate initial diagnosis of any website, blog or ecommerce. Then he informs me all I have to do. And in it I can keep track of all the progress of the work. Cons In some cases, a good result is shown in the tool, while other review sites do not always match these same results. Pros The keyword research tool has been easy to use (once training was put in place). This has aided to some successful marketing strategy decisions. The insightful traffic metrics have played an important and useful role in terms of reporting to the client. The use of SEMRush has been a critical step to plan keywords through the keyword research tool. Cons I would not categorized this as a beginner tool; there is definitely a learning curve to understanding the tools and how to use them effectively towards marketing plans. There is quite a few tools within the software that I have not explored, as I don't need the need for them or the benefit it will have for my client. Pros It appears that SEMrush has a wide range of functions if you subscribe at their Guru ($200/month) or Business ($400/month) levels. However, if you start with their Pro level ($99/month) as my company did, many features that are included with the starter level of other online SEO platforms cost extra with SEMrush. Cons SEMRush has been horrible to learn and work with. Nothing is intuitive or user-friendly. Everything has been a frustrating struggle. Many features that are included with the starter level of other online SEO platforms cost extra with SEMrush. Even simple SEO tasks like researching keywords, researching competitors websites, etc. is a struggle. I did trial subscriptions with other, similar products and they were so much better. It has a lot of features and really helped me even on the free veriosn. Pros A lot of features at one click away. Every site owner must use it, even the free version. Pros Has pretty much every little thing you could need to manage your Search performance, intelligence and optimization. Plus the educational tools it offers alongside are very useful. If only it were not that expensive. Cons Price. I'd say the UI as well. Can sometimes look a bit outdated sometimes. If they can be a bit more competitively priced and polish up the dashboard UI, they would be perfect. It's hard to tell what's included, what we need to pay more for.
