I do want to take additional training s to understand the platform to its entirety Pros I have not been able to integrate my google analytics but besides that i have been able to get some really good insight on SEO performance, website traffic, competitive analysis and much more. Cons i wish there was data from Bing search or other search engines. Pros Since we´ve started using SEMrush, we´ve solved the most part of the problems this tool has found. Such as broken links and bad HTML implementations. Also, we´ve implemented some of their recommendations they give us to improve on the SEO. Cons As expected this tool isn´t perfect, it may find some problems or advices that you won´t be able to solve, this tool just has an easy advice of how you could solve it, but that’s not always the case. Even though, it finds the problem and gives you a possible solution, it won’t possibly work. So that you will have to look for a solution out there. Review Source Crystal B. I use it to track my keywords and my competitors', and also check how my websites behave in the Serps. Cons Semrush has its flaws, but they're few. Although it was useful, it was time-consuming to dig through the data without having someone dedicated and technically skilled enough to focus solely on this. I would say this is good for SEM specific or large agencies but not for the small agencies out there. Pros The software is so in-depth for SEM and SEO research. It provides so much information and research to help you craft effective search campaigns. With extensive statistics and knowledge, this program is a must. Also, the customer service is phenomenal! Cons Too many features. Rarely is this a complaint in any software, but Sem Rush just might give the user to many features. I know that I will almost never use some of them, and they have a tendency to clutter the UI up. Start with the free version and see what you and your website have been missing. Pros I use SEMRush in my personal fitness blog and business. It's my go-to solution for competitor research, tracking my social media and and doing seo/keyword research. My husband also uses it for his business and swears by it. The free version gives you a ton of tools and will even give you a website analysis. It's worth the paid version, but the free version is the perfect start. Cons The only thing I can complain about is the cost of the paid version (depending on your needs). I think the value is there, but for some small businesses it could be a tough pill to swallow. Start free and then upgrade. Pros Semrush has a very user friendly layout, where you can easily research for your targeted keywords and that too with respect to analyzing your competition. Semrush has helped us to researh on our competitors websites, by giving us the ideas on what our competitors are ranking for and what locations/sites/industry they are drawing traffic from i.e. from where their backlinks are from. Apart from this its reporting tool is also good to see and compare your analytics with others. Cons Good things come costly. I think it is costly since many other small tool with much less price can do the same thing which semrush is doing. Also social media analytics in it needs much improvement, like we get confused on how to simply navigate towards our requirements. With other SEO software I have used in the past there has always been a learning curve, but SEMrush was quite possibly one of the hardest to figure out.
