Pros Semrush has enabled our SEO team to perform all the SEO functions we require through a single tool. It has saved us so much time and effort. We also were not able to do in-depth competitor analysis before and now we use the tool for pitches all the time. Cons As a small agency in South Africa and considering the current economic climate and exchange rate, we cannot afford the add-on features. I would recommend that anyone in a content marketing position use this tool. Pros The keyword magic tool is probably my favourite tool to understand any given keyword landscape. The level of depth is exactly what I need to develop effective content marketing strategies. Cons The tool's UI isn't the best and when new features are introduced it there's not much in the way of prompts to show you around. Reason for choosing Semrush We were price sensitive at the time and SEMRush gave us everything we needed at a price that made sense for us. I enjoy using it and love the results we get with it. Pros SEMrush is one of the veterans in the SEO and optimization business. Their software is top notch and offers major tools for site optimization and growing traffic. Cons Implementation can be a bit intimidating at first. Pros Love how easy it is to pull reports and have the option to customize them. Also I love the competitors feature and the visibility chart. It's very helpful to show clients that information. February 23, 2021 5.0 I use the tool to analyze the competition and according to the results of this analysis define my Marketing plan, at first I used it only for my company today I do the analysis of two more partner companies, and also in the analysis of results of Social Networks anyway , is a competition analysis tool and super complete traffic is undoubtedly worth the investment. Pros The best in my opinion in this tool is to be able to make a complete analysis of your competitor, see their mistakes and successes and copy or avoid them. This makes reducing or zeroing errors in marketing strategy, among others, I can issue super-complete weekly reports. Cons The only thing to analyze is that for those who are starting the value is a little high so it is recommended to start using the Free version to learn how to use the tool and then migrate to the paid version, but the return is guaranteed the tool is excellent. Pros This is probably the most reliable SEO and SEM tool when it comes to providing accurate information on backlinks and competitors keywords. Cons This software has a lot of great features but you do need to pay to use almost all of them. The tool isn't cheap for a freelance SEO but would be a great asset for an agency. If you compare it with Moz vs Ahrefs, Semrush is most complete in overall, but the others has some key features such as keyword management that Semrush does not have at this moment. Pros SEMrush covers almost everything you need for SEO, which is truly a massive amount of features. It's nicely organized and pretty darn accurate. You can see stats, do your research and more all in one place. Cons It definitely requires a learning curve, but anything with such a massive amount of info does. Update times could be faster, but other than that zero complaints.
