Traffic estimates, PPC research, Keyword research and so much more. Definitely if you have this, you won't need any other SEO tool. I suppose what I've liked MOST about the software wasn't the software at all, but the personal, one-on-one onboarding that came with the platform. Cons It's overwhelming. Pros How you can monitor all of your brand across the digital space, from ad words, social media posting to website auditing and brand mentions. The videos make learning how to use it simple. Cons It was a bit intimerdating quite how much it can do and so many terms I'd never heard of so make sure you allow lots of time to learn it! You'll already connected, why not just do an initial questionnaire for all entities (competitors url, main key phrases, etc) and do all the different audits. I have found that we don't use a majority of tools because we will "come back" but never do. I know that it's a must have for people working in SEO, but our content writers and marketing specialists use these features as well. I use it mostly for social media features, the most valuable for me are the reports. Cons I really don't like its UX. It seems to me very unintuitive. I had some problems with setting up new projects. I also don't like their customer service. I sent them emails, asked for helped, someone was replying to me and then they suddenly stopped. There was an overwhelming amount of data at my fingertips. Cons I couldn't justify the price for what I was using it for. If I was running a bunch of PPC campaigns I could definitely justify the price, but I was targeting organic growth clicks. There were other competitors that had similar functionality for a better price. Cons Like many of the other SEO tools, it's extremely expensive for the single-site owner, even at its lowest pricing, the Pro subscription. It's definitely for agencies. The way they display the info is also pretty good, you can compare all the previous KPIs in the same graph in an easy way. Cons Very few CONS. Just to say one, maybe I miss the capability of compare more than three websites simultaneously, to have a deeper view of all the metrics and make better benchmarking reports. It tracks free and paid search results. There are so many things it can do. It will run a website audit. It will track keyword ranking. It can give you backlink information. Country based traffic data of SEMRUSH is more accurate than Aherfs which is a good point. Cons Keyword database of SEMRush needs to be increased. I can set up all my social posts and schedule them with ease. On the SEO side, I find the control over nitty gritty details like sitemaps and disavow lists extremely helpful. I pay for the whole program and use a fraction of it because I just don't have the time to learn the program as a whole (it's a lot!) The fraction I do use is GREAT and I am very pleased with the results that I get. Pros The SEO tools are great. Great at analyzing sites to easily see where the bugs are to fix. Definitely gives an edge to our SEO work. Cons Costly software. The cost may be worth it if you use ALL of the tools, but I don't have time to learn them all, so it doesn't always justify.
