Pros What I liked most about this software is its functionality, you have different tools that help improve and optimize the SEO of your blog. I really like the fact of knowing how you can position yourself in certain keywords to improve the positions in your blog. Every metric has a little explanatory icon next to them that shows you what it means and how its calculated. Cons I often question the accuracy of Semush. When analyzing our own domains it often suggests a doubling of traffic in a short amount of time which simply isn't true. It does show trends accurately though. Since fixing a lot of the issues improved sites SEO as we had pages that had no keyword or meta.we also had a lot of java and HTMl issues. site is loading much faster now. I will probably spring for one of the paid subscriptions in 2021 Pros Lots of features and lots of information to help track track traffic and SEO effectiveness. Features are explained so that an SEO novice can know what is being tracked and why. Cons The lowest price per month is a bit high for me. I'm using the free plan now and I'm getting quite a bit of information. I'm not sure switching to a paid plan will yield enough extra information to be worth the price. Reason for choosing Semrush I looked at other products and found this one to be the easiest to navigate and it gave me the information in needed. They really understand how to equip marketers from SEO to planning content. They have competitors that offer much cheaper plans. I feel like their cheapest plan and the one following it are way too far from each other so there should be a mid-plan between them. Cons Doesn't always give you all the data you're looking for, but again we don't feel any tool out there would so a combo of this one and a couple more would give you the best overall view and tracking.
