November 16, 2021 5.0 Pros It’s great being able to print remotely whilst on the move and come back to the office and everything is there ready. Simple features such as printing both sides is great and saves paper which is great for the environment. Cons Sometimes the printer is a little glitchy and doesn’t connect but after switching off/on it’s sorted out. The print quality is great - the colour laser is especially good. Our prior printers were too matte and didn't provide professional enough quality. The glossy colour laser is great and the print outs, although not professional quality, are really good for day to day printing. I like being able to create short cuts on the machine that can be very specific (duplex, colour, skip blank pages, etc etc). The videos and images on how to handle paper jams are good, although we don't get as many jams with this new machine as we did with the old one. Overall the software attached to this machine is quite nice and easy to use. The UX is good and things are where you expect them to be. Cons We've only had this machine for a month or so so I haven't really tested things out. The one thing I wish I could find is the ability to adjust my shortcuts that already exist. For example I send up a scan to email shortcut that has duplex printing by default. I wish I could set this to single sided by default but I can't figure out how to adjust my current shortcut without deleting it and recreating it. Which would then replace my shortcut number I believe. This option might exist, but it's not evident after quick review. Review Source SK Sonya K. Cons It doesn't have multiple warehousing, it doesn't do multiple currencies and it doesn't do multiple languages. Relatively little-to-no downtime over the 2 years I have used their printers. Cons Ink is rather expensive, compared to other printer manufacturers. We have a total of 3 lexmark printer. The printers were easy to install. The quality of print is very good as well as being able to run envelope & labels. Speed is very good Cons My only concern is the cost of the print cartridges as well as drum replacements and toner. Pros We recently introduced the Lexmark Go Line of Printers into our Creative Marketing office and they were easy to setup and print dependably and affordably. Cons Trying to print remotely to the printer in my office seems a little overly complicated on Mac OS and would like more effort put into Mac OS printer drivers and permissions. The software installed on the machines is much better than the previous versions. The options and features match what people are looking to do (ex. scan to email). It's also very nice that the printer can tell our IT team that supplies are low. We don't have the situation anymore where the toner has run out and we have no replacement inserts. Great feature! Cons I'd say the only thing I don't like about the new software is dismissing screens. Sometimes you get a screen or menu pop up and the dismiss/close button isn't obvious. Turns out you can swipe it away but there's no UI to tell you that. Review Source JR Jeff R. The UI for setup could be neatened up a little bit to look more updated/modern. The help button could also be a little more obvious when running into problems getting hardware set up.
