### "Disappointing Merger"

May 14, 2024

3.0

Disappointing and frustrating. Every experience with Web.com has been like pulling teeth with tweezers. And now, I have YEARS of many different domains and content embedded and invested in this company. So disappointing. I can only PRAY that reviews like this will make them BETTER, and operate with the same excellence that Doster USED to have.

Pros

Dotster. The only thing I like about Web.com is the part of the company that used to be Dotster. I had been with Dotster for 15 years or more. Dotster used to be the BEST company at the BEST price/value with Amazing customer service and product features. In the last year that Doster began to go down hill in their customer service, that's when they merged with Web.com.

Cons

CUSTOMER SERVICE. They are too slow to respond. They do not all speak English clearly. They do not seem to be trained enough to understand your needs. They seem to be working from a keyword list and will send you associated documentation instead of helping you figure out your issue. Their web interface is difficult to navigate or understand and they now charge you for individual access to features that should be in your own control for your own domains.

I was forced to make the switch from Dotster.com because of a company merger.

### "Very good at keeping my inventory in sync across selling channels"

November 19, 2015

4.5

Pros

ecomdash is great for my business, because I have been enjoying using ShipStation and I needed a system to keep my channels in sync, without adding a lot of activity to my work flow. It doesn't need to integrate into ShipStation. It will work along side of ShipStation, doing it's job, while letting ShipStation do it's job of handling the shipping. The people at ecomdash are friendly and helpful. Support is quick to get back to you and they don't mind getting on the phone to help you out.

Cons

The UI isn't currently state of the art, but it isn't overly difficult to deal with. I've been making suggestions and they are willing to listen. If their UI designer/developer can up their game, they can trump the others that I've used (and gave up on), because I have yet to see a super easy to use UI in this particular service niche. It's a bit new, and there are vestiges of certain very niche markets that they must have created their software for initially, and I find that in terms of creating templates and imports, you can see a lot of specific fields that pertain to those marketplaces. Ideally they could filter them out if the client is not using those marketplaces. I don't print postage through their application, and Would like to stay with ShipStation for that. In fact, I'd be happy if they would just form a partnership with ShipStation because ShipStation really has the shipping thing figured out pretty well.

### "Formatting is a nightmare"

November 7, 2017

2.0

Ease of adding content and pictures. But that is about all it has to offer.

Pros

I do like adding content. It is easy and efficient. You can drag pictures/documents anywhere and it gives you a grid to make sure it is all aligned.

Cons

The formatting is awful. Changing the font color and size never works properly the first time (for instance it will only change one letter when the entire sentence is highlighted). For a web builder that should be easy to fix. Also the format of the site looks different on different computers.

### "Great Support Staff"

December 15, 2018

5.0

Ecomdash is helping me improve my business by allowing me to manage multiple sites from a single interface.

Pros

The software takes time to learn and understand. The best part is the support you get from the support team. They respond quickly, the schedule a call feature is really nice, and everyone of the support staff I have dealt with have been very helpful and supportive.

Cons

The system takes time to learn and it could use a few more features; however, by and large it works very well.

### "Don't Do it"

November 10, 2021

1.0

Absolutely not an option. They advertise attractive rates, but then they attempted to charge my account for varying amounts of hundreds of dollars. Their customer service is unhelpful and it concerns me that they may actually be purposely charging accounts several times, not refunding money they say they will, attempting to charge various amounts of money in the hope banks, and busy company owners won't catch it in time or be able to recover the money.

Pros

Setting up the site was easy but everything else is not worth the headache.

Cons

The software is fine. It's the fraudulent activity of the company and the inability of the customer service staff to use the English language that is the problem.

Reason for choosing Web.com

Functionality not worth the headache.

### "Great product to sync your sites inventory across each other"

June 21, 2018

5.0

Pros

Very easy to use to sync inventory They do a very good job of showing what is selling, so easier to keep items in stock From our experience through the years, their customer support has always been very helpful.

Cons

Can be slow at times, but for the most part is quite fast. At the moment, don't have anything else can think of. Most of the issues we have had, they are able to resolve or have a work around to make it work.

### "Good for the Money"

February 28, 2018

4.0

I would rate ecomdash as 3.5 stars overall. I have used them for about 2 years and there have been several times I wanted to leave, but there is not much out there I could find that beats the price-to-feature ratio ecomdash offers. We currently do not do FBA and I know that some users have had issues with that. However, for our business ecomdash offers features that many higher priced competitors offer and are exactly what we need. We have had a few problems over the years, but the customer service (although sometimes difficult to reach) was above average in most of the cases in getting the problem resolved. This is not a perfect product, but for a growing business like ourselves this is what we need.

Pros

Great Value for what is included Includes features that many others don't have Decent customer service

Cons

Slow between screens Some information seems difficult to find Shipping service is not user friendly

### "Still learning, lots of checkboxes, attributes, buttons and switches."

July 9, 2018

5.0

As a solo operation, (listing, packing, shipping, walkin customers in my bricks and mortar showroom), my time on ecomdash is limited. The program deserves a lot of time & attention to make it really fly. So I hope to put a full time employee to just keyboard into ecomdash.

Pros

In depth & web based tool. It does all that you need once an item is set up correctly. We use several sales channels. Going on 4 or 5 years now with ecomdash. Subscription costs are reasonable. I actually look forward using it every day.

Cons

Lots of bells and whistles, therefore a steep learning curve for me. However, support always gets me fixed when I screw something up.

### "Does everything we need and more. "

August 20, 2020

5.0

We went from using a 3rd party warehouse to doing it in-house. It has helped save us a ton of money and control our process and customer experience completely. The ability to tie in to multiple shippers has saved us additional money on shipping costs.

Pros

We have been able to fully set up our warehouse, inventory product and seamlessly take orders from Shopify and ship them out. It does it all. Sometimes it isn't intuitive, and takes a bit of learning and perhaps a chat with tech support to figure it out. That said, support has always been fast (minutes at most) and has delivered an answer that works.

Cons

There has been some development ongoing and sometimes areas have been renamed. I find myself having to try one or two ways to get stuff done sometimes just to remember the work path. It sometimes feels a bit clunky to get the job done.

Reason for choosing Web.com

Full function and great price.

### "ecomdash has completely revolutionized the functionality of our warehouse!"

January 26, 2018

5.0

After months of researching and interviewing companies for the best software solution, we chose ecomdash. That was over a year ago now, and we've never second guessed our decision. It provides all the functionality we need to keep our business operations organized and centralized.

Pros

What I like most about ecomdash is it is one central stop for all the functions our warehouse does. From inventory management to listings to shipping - ecomdash does it all.

Cons

Customization. I wish there were a few more options to customize the look and functionality. For example, custom reports, custom dashboard, custom pick-list and packing slips. Every business has it's own idiosyncrasies that it would be great to have a software that could meld even better to my unique business model.

### "Excellent system to consider for small businesses"

February 10, 2022

Cannot complain for the features I need at a price I can afford. Service teams supporting the product are hreat people always willing to go the extra mile. They are prompt and do not let you down!

Pros

You get most features found in larger systems

Cons

Lack of an app on IOS and also the inventory auditing does not allow pictures to be printed.

Reason for choosing Web.com

Tried and gave up on one which has less features and does not integrate well with my shopify platform.

From installation to learning the software Ecomdash provides an incredible team and Resources to get up and going quickly and easily. The features for the money is unbeatable! You get all the features from day 1 and you don't have to spend all your profits to get a good system. The company is innovative and always adding new features and improving ease of use. It is the most User Friendly inventory management software I tried. Give them a try!

Pros

Features included: Inventory Management, Order Management, Fullfillment Management, Quickbooks Integration, Accurate Listing Ability, from DAY 1. Ease of Use and Customer Service Team are always available if you run into something you're not sure about. Unbeatable value for the price!

Cons

### "One way street only and DOESN'T work with woocomm automatically . "

November 5, 2018

Negative Negative - good selling pitch - if there claims worked.. too bad

Pros

WOULD have been a great idea, if it worked

Cons

Only works one way - you can't update orders on ecomdash and have those changes go back to amazon.. also woocomm doesn't work... it worked on sales pitch - but not now. Chat supports says you have to manually enter woocomm orders no API and even after that - you can NOT update orders and have it sent back to woocomm.. maybe good for inventory, but NOT order handlling... Still waiting for refund - but they have to TALK to you first -- still waiting for call!!

### "Stay way don't believe fake reviews. "

November 3, 2016

1.0

Well.......was thinking to use them based on previous reviews that I was reading and the value for the money. As a new and small company thought what could go wrong. As a none technical person I oped for their $99 set up.. they promised 15-30 phone call for set up, that my account will be integrated, sync and that I'll be ready to go and simply start doing business. But It wasn't like that at all. Phone cal came in simply to ask for more info and was around 5 minutes. After that I wanted to upload my whole inventory and integrated but because my Amazon.com already downloaded a few listings, the support person (which I think knows what she's doing) wanted to link these to all my channels. I tried to explain via so many emails back and forth that this is not what I'm looking for and really need my inventory uploaded she kept going back to the Amazon.com listings and try to connect these one. So I after 1 weeks talking to the walls I agree to continue with these few listings, but found out that because these listings are FBA listing, you can't integrate them to other channels. Or maybe they can but she didn't know how and couldn't help me. What it did it converted all the listings to 'none amazon fulfilled listings'. So I had to go and manually changed everything back to Amazon fulfilled. So if you sell FBA.......stay away and you will not get adequate support from them, only 5 miles long emails with instructions.

Doesn't work

This AI based website builder is ideal for small business owners and startups who don’t have enough capital to invest on website development and management.

Pros

This website’s AI builder generated the website content beyond my expectations. Text, template, photos everything was great!

Cons

As compared to Zyro, it’s a little expensive.

### "We began using this with excitement and an open mind."

March 31, 2018

3.0

As an inventory based platform Ecomdash should be more open architecture.

Pros

We very much liked the customer service. However, the recent change to "leave a message and someone will get back to you" isn't met with much enthusiasm. Indeed someone does get back, and sometimes within minutes.

Cons

There are certain instances where a simple switch would be all the difference, but it isn't there. The software could use the ability for the user to change things for themselves.

### "Web.com Is Simple, Affordable, And Easy To Use"

June 8, 2019

4.0

We will continue to use Web.com with certain types of clients and appreciate their efforts and quality and creativity.

Pros

We like using Web.com for medium sized client's who have a limited budget or time to develop a website. The system is easy to get used to and navigate. The makers provide good documentation and support.

Cons

Web.com is not as robust and flexible as Wix and in some ways the Godaddy site builder was easier to use. However, web.com is professional and a bit more compatible with client's who want a little more elegance and professionalism.

### "Ecomdash - work in progress"

March 21, 2017

4.0

Nice piece of software but it lacks some basic features like variation listing. They are adding new features all the time. If you are looking to manage inventory on multiple channels and easily update inventory from suppliers it is great. Customer service is usually fast and their knowledge base can answer most questions. Areas that need improvement are listing to channels, automatic price changing on channels, business rules to allow product data to be manipulated easily. Overall I like Ecomdash and hope they continue to grow and add features

Pros

Inventory management Supplier management

Cons

No variation listings No business rules to combine data Can be a little slow at times

### "Finally, something that ties all the marketplaces together!"

August 14, 2018

5.0

Pros

Works with all the major marketplaces. Works with Quickbooks online. Perfect for a small operation to help with listing to multiple marketplaces and some major shopping carts, helps with order processing and shipping. Not too hard to put together.

Cons

It is very much do it yourself for the set up process. For a small number of SKU's this is a perfect fit. For larger numbers of sku's not so much. Also there is no easy way to add a back up supplier to your inventory items.

### "One stop place to list your product on mutliple sites with ease"

February 13, 2020

5.0

Pros

The software takes care of everything you need to do to list your product. You can think of doing something and that feature is already there in the software.

Cons

Though all the features are there but explanation for each option is not mentioned any where. For new user it is difficult to know where to find what he is looking for. For eg. I was trying to upload an inventory so I created a manual import format and imported the products. Along with the product headers got added in the inventory. After contacting customer support I came to know that while creating manual import you have to tick the option "File has headers". So what I mean is this information was not mentioned while creating the manual import file, if it was there i would have had not made the mistake. Like wise there are many places information is not provided.

### "Runs smooth, any minor problems or concerns are addressed promptly."

February 15, 2018

4.0

Balancing inventory when selling on multiple channels is all but impossible to do manually with any type of volume at all. We sell quite a few low volume or single quantity items and we have to keep the inventory in sync across all channels to prevent overselling.

Pros

The sync inventory frequency. Some competitors only sync once an hour, if you are selling multi-channel this can lead to overselling.
