Cons Honestly, the only con, and reason I later on switched to another Password Manager, is the fact you can't have it on your smartphone. This makes it less valuable as you would only manage passwords you use on desktop. Apart from that, great product. If your users don't need to have it on their phones, that's a go. Keepass makes it just easy and safe. Pros On top of being a great password manager with all features one may expect, such as encryption, autotype, auto generation of passwords, organization into subfolders, etc...the multiple add-on modules available allow implementing extra features, such as two-factor certificate-based authentication for extra safety, Google Drive compatibility to share the password database between multiple machines, etc... Oh and, all of this comes for free! Cons Nothing that I can think of. Everything you need is either available in the main product or via add-on modules. Pros Keepass is one of the best password management apps I used. I can use it offline. I can protect the keepass database by encrypting using a master password. I use it on my laptop and mobile device. The search feature is very good - you can search very quickly the entire database. There are many other features to lock the database, prevent shutting down PC if database is unsaved, call up the app using a global hotkey, etc. Cons The font is small and there is no way to customize it. I wish the detail pane on the right side could be customizable. Wish the search feature also searched passwords. Mi permette di archiviare tutte le password per non dimenticarle e soprattutto per tenerle al sicuro e non scriverle su un foglio o un documento word. All'interno si possono anche creare dei gruppi per raggruppare le password e le utenze e trovare il tutto più facilmente. Cons Renderei la grafica dell'interfaccia un po' migliore. Sembra quasi vecchio stampo, la farei un po' più moderna. Salvando il db criptato sul cloud posso accedere ai dati dal cellulare o dal computer e la cifratura di altissimo livello lo rendono sicuro. Cons Sono presenti dei plugin per il browser che permettono l'autocompletamento della psw di accesso al database che sconsiglio vivamente per non compromettere l'assoluta sicurezza del software. Pros If you'd like to manage your passwords locally without any interference from the cloud, it'll be difficult to find a better solution than KeePass (that's also free!). Cloud password storage is all about convenience, not security. This isn't to say that cloud-based password managers aren't secure, but keeping them out of the cloud all together is simply more secure. KeePass is simple enough to use, and there's really no reason in today's security breachathon age that EVERYONE shouldn't be using a password manager like KeePass. You can share that file and password with co-workers and they can see the information you saved on the file. I do not use FB nor Google authentication as for SSO ... this reduces the reliance on FB and Google from knowing more about you than they already do! Pros Lightweight and very well supported. I have used Keepass for almost 10 years and it keeps getting better and better. iPhone and Android compatible. Search capability is fantastic when managing 100's of passwords Cons Synchronization of the main file needs to be done correctly so as it does not stay on one device. If the file is put on cloud storage site you will need to update the file it is accessing by pulling it down to your mobile device. The program will access the file on it HDD. You don't have to keep all of your different passwords in your mind, what let you to use quite different passwords. Keepass even has a well parametered password-generator function, so you don't have to rely on your own fantasy in this situation. It has time-limited clipboard functionality, you can login with a simple CTRL+V hotkey. Cons Sometimes clipboarding features is not working as it is intended. And you have to take care of the local (encrypted) database - if something happens with it (e.g. a hardware failure) you won't be able to log in to those services what you are using. Each one having its own set of password rules and lockout policies. KeyPass has helped me manage all those logins and has minimised the number of times I have had to search out someone to unlock my account. Pros I like the easy of use the most. Good search facility, great for when you have a lot of passwords. Good password generator. Regular feature updates. Cons I cant think of any other features that would improve this package. Using the keepass in Edge in a sandboxed environment where keyloggers wont get a chance to get the password. Pros Safely pasting your password in your browser or application with a hotkey or autofill. Your password file is secured using a master password, keyfile (in my case) and it autosaves when you enable this. Of course be sure you use a versioning system to be sure you can recover a mistake ;-) Cons Currently their is no perfect integration for Edge, because of plugins, a bit of minor, but with one extra keypress you can make it work, but not automatically.
