Pros: LastPass Enterprise is very suitable to enable your users to store logins and other information securely. You can sync with Active Directory and other sources, allow access to shared folders based on group membership and enforce various policies. This is all very flexible.

The reporting functionality allows you to monitor product usage and the 'security score' of your employees. If an account is known to be leaked to the web, your users can be notified about this thanks to the integration with HIBP.

Accounts can be secured with 2-factor authentication either using a push message to an Android/IOS app, or with Yubikey, Sesame, Google Authenticator or other options. This can also be enforced for specific users. You can link your enterprise account with a personal account for easy access to your private passwords. Read the deployment guide and you will be impressed.

Cons: Even after more than five years of enterprise deployment, I have a hard time getting my users loving LastPass. The interface is not consistent across browsers. Enabling the binary component (used for uploading attachments to your vault and for synchronizing the login status between browsers) is a hassle. Some preferences are saved in the extension, but not in your account preferences, like logout when idle, Other settings are done via the Vault. The mobile apps are not bug free, sometimes the autofill pop-up comes up on Android, sometimes it doesn't. On MacOS, the binary plugins sometimes hang. When reporting these issues to Support, it usually takes a long time to get them fixed. If they send them to Development, there is little or no feedback on the progress. So there is still a lot of room for improvement. The price doubled last year, which does not yet pay off although the competition is often more expensive and then I don't know where LastPass shines and they don't.

Overall: It helps me to be GDPR compliant by creating a secure environment for our passwords.

My team and I LOVE Last Pass! It's easy to use, helps secure your login credentials and so much more

Pros: First off, with so many things to log in to it's impossible to follow good password procedure, which is important, especially with all of the hacks that go on. If a hacker gets one of your passwords, they know they can access a lot of your websites. Lastpass removes the pain of creating a secure password and having to remember it. You only have to create 1 secure lastpass password and you're golden.

One of the biggest pains it solves for my team is allowing us to share passwords/logins for software that charges extra if you need multiple users. As a small startup that can't afford to pay for each user for every software we use, this is huge for us.

It also makes onboarding new team members easier. We give them access to the services they need and can see what each service does in the notes section of the lastpass app. It also helps when my business partner signs up for a new software, I can know what it's for and viceversa.

I also feel more secure having my passwords on lastpass than on Chrome's password manager.

Cons: I think the design and user experience could be laid out a bit better, but it's good enough. The way they have it set up can make all of your passwords etc. feel overwhelming at times.

Also, there's the obvious downside that if you forget your password you could end up locked out of all of your accounts... So make sure you remember your password.

Overall: It's very secure for supporting all of my passwords. I don't have to worry about remembering a bunch of different passwords, lastpass autogenerates secure passwords for me and remembers them for me. And allows me to access it from any device if I need to.

It allows me to share passwords with my team for products that charge extra for additional users when we don't necessarily need additional users.

It's fast and works really well all around. Not all software does that but it gives me confidence that I can trust it with my passwords.

It also allows you to auto-fill forms for saving time filling out repetitive address, email, phone #, cc info etc.

One-word: Indispensable - One of the greatest apps ever made.

Pros: Lastpass has 10 key pros: 1) Password generation and auto filling LastPass generate secure passwords for every website you use. It saves them as well and automatically logs into the website. This means you can create passwords that are very difficult for hackers to guess, without having the trouble of remembering them. 2) Form fill You can set up profiles with all your details allowing Lastpass to automatically fill in online forms for you. You can even set up profiles for obscure details. You can switch between profiles, which is handy if you have multiple email accounts or phone numbers. 3) Automatic password changing For certain sites, Lastpass will automatically change your password. This makes it a breeze to change your passwords on a regular basis, which is a good way to keep secure. 4) Alerts when a website has been hacked If a website is known to be hacked, Lastpass will alert you to change your password. This will make sure that the hacker is stuck with an old password that is useful for them. 5) Hardware authentication Lastpass can be linked to a hardware device such as your mobile phone. That way, in order to login to your account, you will need your mobile, which keeps your account very secure. 6) Password sharing You can share passwords. This is very useful in an office where multiple people might have access to the same website. 7) Excellent interface The interface is very streamlined. It automatically pops up when you need it and then disappears when you don't. 8) Multi-platform Lastpass works on all platforms including Windows, Mac, Android. On mobile, it can even work with apps, which is a big time saver. 9) Password audit Lastpass can audit your passwords to search for insecurities (such as duplicate passwords, old passwords or hacked passwords) 10) It's free Remarkably all these features are free (apart from Password sharing which is only in the premium plan).

Cons: Lastpass has one con. On certain websites it can forget to save the password you created, which will lock you out of the site. This is very rare, but it is annoying when it happens. As a workaround you can copy the password to your clipboard when it is created. That way, if it forgets to save the password, you can just paste it back into its database of your passwords.

Pros: LastPass Enterprise is a very useful service that allows users to enter all of their passwords for any account they own on any website on the web. The service is extremely secure, and also has a free version which is very suitable and well equipped for personal use. This product has essentially changed the way I work on the web. I never have any issues when it comes to remembering passwords and accounts. I can also access this information from anywhere I want, including my smartphone with the LastPass app. The service also automatically updates and secures any changes made to your passwords, and can randomly generate effective passwords if needed. It also gives you tips on how to make good passwords, when it's time to change passwords, or if there too many duplicate passwords for multiple accounts (security tips). Overall, the service is extremely vital for modern technology, where we can potentially have hundreds of accounts with different passwords. There's simply no convenient way to store these all and update them in realtime. Lastpass serves to keep this security and does it perfectly without issue.

Cons: If there are any cons at all it will be that the service is quite expensive and has problems living up to the competition which offers more at the same or cheaper cost.

Overall: I'm quite satisfied with LastPass Enterprise and I recommend it to anyone I know. It's something I personally cannot live without, and I use it daily.

Pros: Online password management tools are an important tool for anyone using the internet. They get rid of the problem of utilizing the same password for multiple websites, plus they often mean the website hacker breaching one of your accounts, or stealing your online identity.

I have been using LastPass for a few years now, so here is an overview of the app. LastPass is a cloud-based password managing solution that features many features to simplify your online experience.

This app is the ultimate set-it-and-forget-it solution. Easy and intuitive to use and very convenient.

Cons: Cloud storage might not be everyone's cup of tea. The app operates on almost any platform, (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS (Premium), and Windows Phone (Premium). LastPass stores your data on the company's servers (called the Vault).

This is different from other online password management tools which store your computer data in files on your device. This setup holds some benefits for individuals who dislike complexity: first of all, there's really nothing you must do except register and install the browser plugin. This technique has its own drawbacks, however. Individuals cautious about storing their passwords on the company's servers might feel at ease with another password management solutions. However, LastPass has taken care of immediately these concerns by making certain that information is encrypted together with your master password.

Pros: Last Pass solves the password problem with security that is hard to match in my experience. Virtually every experienced business I work with uses this, because security issues in the past few years have made the old ways of keeping passwords - within your browser - a bit more dangerous than before. By using LastPass i can give access to my virtual and remote employees to any of a number of tools and they never get the password, and I can revoke access. Instead of fumbling around for a way to keep passwords, we back this up and in case of emergency, have an extra layer of security and know our passwords are safe.

Cons: The Chrome extension is what I like least, since I use Chrome alot and it crashes frequently. LastPass takes more and more memory, which isn't a negative (and more a sign I'll need to upgrade my computer once again), so the browser crashing is here and there, not an always on problem. Sometimes when I have multiple users share their logins to the same tool, like Mailchimp, LastPass will get in a bit of a battle of which password and user wins, but that's more a specific agency problem than one the average user would face.

Overall: Excellent, it keeps my passwords safe and organized, and allows me to work with people without giving them the password "keys to the kingdom", so I retain control but can still work with people where ever they live. For a larger company to a small business with outsourcers, this is a must have tool.

Pros: I've been using LastPass since 2010 I believe, both for business and personal use. There's a lot of positives, like the organizing features, password strength checks, random password generation, automatic password changing (when supported by the website), a plethora of 2FA options and of course, excellent browser integration.

I'm also using LastPass together with some colleagues, both in IT and outside of that, in other departments.

I have linked my personal, free LastPass account to my business one, so I don't have to switch accounts, with the logging out and in hassle.

LastPass also offers mobile apps, secure notes and form fill templates. It's all pretty nifty. As a business user, support is fast and quite good.

Cons: The mobile Android app can be a bit buggy. Even the Chrome addon sometimes has issues, for example with registering the correct username or e-mail address entered while registering somewhere, or small bugs, mostly UI related. It's not 100% solid, but, say, 90%. User-friendlyness can also be improved for less tech savvy users. Many colleagues of me find LastPass difficult. It's not entirely due to LastPass actually being difficult or not user friendly, but I think they can do just a little more in the UI department to make things easier to grasp.

Overall: Saves me time and gives me the feeling my passwords are strong and securedly stored.

Pros: Lastpass makes it easy to save and remember passwords. This allows you to create and save logins with complex passwords keeping your data safe. Furthermore, you can save other things in your LastPass vault such as credit card info, secure notes, etc.

Lastpass also keeps up to date by providing a variety of addional security options such as OTP authentication, multifactor authentication via your phone, master password re-prompt option, etc. Personally, I use the OTP option with my Yubikey. With that option, LastPass will exit each time I close my browser and when I re-open the browser it prompts me to push the button on my Yubikey and logs back in. If the OTP fails, LastPass immediately goes back to requiring both the master password and the OTP code making it very secure.

The app is also incredible. I use it to autofill logins in other apps and it saves me slews of time each day.

Cons: When sharing login credentials with another user, there is an option to let them view or not view the password. This is a bit misleading as, if you choose to NOT let them view the password, they can still see it in plain text by using inspect element on any browser and changing the password field from password to text. It is really, really easy to do. But, as long as you are aware of that, it's fantastic!

Pros: Lastpass is an excellent and indispensable tool for my team and myself in storing and sharing passwords. Lastpass stores an unlimited number of passwords for a user on websites and form fills, including passwords as well as credit card information for easy form filling. The number one feature of Lastpass that makes it a no brainer to install is the ability to share the password with a friend, colleague or family member without having to expose the password. This feature stands out as Lastpass' gem, and I use this frequently in sharing a passwords from everything to Google Drive and Netflix. I never have t worry about exposing passwords, and any time I want to end the share, I can cancel the sharing to the user. This makes it easy to share passwords for one time use.

Cons: There's nothing to dislike with Lastpass. Its UX/UI is friendly, easy to navigate and storing passwords are a breeze in Google Chrome.

Overall: Lastpass Enterprise is an excellent team tool for accessing forms or passwords without having to expose the passwords. Any team, agency can benefit from having all teammates on Lastpass, and sharing access to a folder of passwords or a single password in itself. This helped us efficiently manage our clients' passwords without having to be bold and directly asking for it. We share passwords internally and externally from our team, and the service works flawlessly every time.

Pros: LastPass is a great password manager that works much better than most password managers. One of its best features is the ability to share passwords with other users without revealing what those passwords are. It also integrates nicely with Chrome (which I use daily), and makes adding new passwords easy. The best part is everything is saved to the cloud so there is no weird connecting of cloud storage to set up. Its simply remember your password, install an extension or app and you are good to go. Whether used for personal or business use, the list of features LastPass offers makes it easy for me to recommend to anyone getting started with password managers. And oh did I mention its free?

Cons: Now not everything is rosy about it. One of the biggest gripes I have is that, it sometimes freezes up my browser when saving a new login or password and it can save the same login info several times, which makes it hard when trying to login into a site. I also find it a bit annoying that sometimes when I try to generate a password, it doesn't save the information based on the site that I am on. The mobile app is also lacking on the android side, despite the ability to draw over other apps, it always needs fresh permissions whenever I reboot my phone. Hopefully these things can be fixed with time but its remains one of the best options out there.

Pros: The time it saves me along with the additional security and peace of mind it provides is immeasurable. I love being able to navigate the web and seamlessly just be logged in. It's been years since I've used a "forgot my password" link.

One of my favorite features is the ability to reset passwords in bulk - useful for updating your passwords after converting to random password for each site or refreshing them just because. It integrates with many popular sites to perform the resets in just a couple clicks. For those without integration, it does take a few more steps but it still makes the process much more convenient.

Also the secure notes field is a wonderful place to store sensitive info not fit for forms.

Cons: My only problem with LastPass may not really an issue with LastPass.. With some sites (maybe 5% of the time) LastPass fails to properly detect the username/password fields and cannot auto-fill credentials. This could be due to LastPAss or, more likely, the code on the website itself.

Overall: You can't forget passwords you don't have to remember!

Speeds up login times, reduces frustration, enhances security, reduces impact of data breaches, allows me to access all of my passwords anywhere I need them.

Pros: Cloud-based, so it's everywhere you are. It stores EVERYTHING. I can sit at a new PC or a spare one in the office, and in a few seconds, have access to all of my bookmarks, passwords, secure notes... It's instant, always available, and very smart with its automatic logins.

Clearly, security is a big concern when you allow one program to know all of your confidential information - especially a cloud-based one, so the 2-factor authentication is a must and works seamlessly with your mobile device.

No need to sync, easy to share, always available across all devices and takes your privacy seriously. That's a win all around.

Cons: Sometimes the Chrome plug-in feels clunky. It doesn't always snap right to the results you ask for. The Firefox plug-in just feels more polished somehow. The mobile experience isn't nearly as seamless as the desktop platform, unless you're using the LastPass browser, but it's still superior to other password managers I've seen at any price.

Overall: I manage hundreds of passwords - some I use every some I haven't used in years. But I only know a few of them. LastPass lets me be blissfully ignorant of the frustrations of password management by just handling the whole process for me.

Pros: I always forget stuff. And when you have dozens or even hundreds various tools to use, you either forget your passwords, or use the same one. Well, I'm all about my privacy and safety, so using one password was not an option.

That's why I started using LastPass. It's just fantastic. You set it up once and then it does all for you. It will create you especially difficult passwords, every time it will be a different one. And only you'll be able to access all your tools and logins. LastPass will fill everything for you. It definitely makes your life easier.

And it works on all platforms! Android, iOS, Windows, Mac, even Chrome OS that I use sometimes! It's fantastic!

Cons: Sometimes LastPass might crash on Chrome OS. It's fine on Windows or Chrome browser but on Chrome OS it's a bit less stable. However, not many people use that OS, and I don't use it that often too, so I'm absolutely fine with that.

Overall: It's a great tool that made my virtual life a lot easier. I have to remember only one password now, I don't have to be concerned about my security and I always can easily access all of my logins. I'm very forgetful, that's why LastPass is so fantastic for me.

Pros: Everyone needs unique logins for every website and service we use. This is the easiest to master tool for creating and managing passwords or across devices that I've tried. It's also the least expensive. The pricing tiers (basic essential tools are free) prove that LastPass as a company is committed to making the Internet a safer place for users, not just to make money. Advanced functionality is paid for by the companies that need it, not by average consumers. This makes me loyal, and I've paid the yearly fee even though I don't absolutely have to. Customer service is also excellent and responsive, particularly on Twitter. LastPass has also finally addressed some UI problems with their iOS app.

Cons: Logins and passwords are not always captured, or saved. Doesn't happen very often, but it does. In addition, I have an ongoing problem with WordPress.com. My main account is on the subdomain, en.wordpress.com, but when I go to simply wordpress.com, LastPass doesn't list that login as one of the saved ones. Very frustrating, and hasn't been solved in the years since I reported it.

Overall: Peace of mind. Security.

Pros: Makes passwords convenient enough that users stop using post-it's and "cheat sheets". It is much faster than having a user manually type it once or twice to get it passwords right. The option to share passwords fairly quickly with others is invaluable in my IT department. I feel very good about the company and having our data in the cloud. I feel it's very safe and near impossible for a hacker to get my encyrpted passwords that are only decrypted on my user side. We have one enterprise account that we use to be the main account and then we share it with personal accounts that are free. Some of our users we pay to upgrade to pro so they can access the passwords on their phones.

Cons: Sometimes it takes an hour for a new password to sync to my phone or another PC.

Concurrent access can leave you wondering which password is the newest.

Overall: Replacing "cheat sheets" where passwords are accessible to anyone near the person's desk. It's also not as easy as hacker opening up a plain-text file. Users can more quickly sign in. Users reset their passwords much less often. Users are much more likely to not have a universal password.

Pros: Easy to register, use and figure out. All you have to do is just install LastPass extension in your preferred browser, register, login and you are ready to go. It will store your passwords that you enter on sites and autologin if you choose so. When you switch computers all you have to do is install the extension again and login and you will have all your saved passwords with you on any computer. If you want to remove it from the computer, you just uninstall the extension from the browser and install on another computer. There are options to create folders for different password types, to store credit card data or any website info that you want to easily input like the address. It really saves time entering address, credit card info and user names & passwords.

Cons: For me there are no cons with this one.

Overall: I am using it for years and never had any problems with it. Everything is safe and secure, encrypted - your data is totaly safe. This is the best password keeping service I know and recommend it to everyone. Paid features are also good and useful. You can use it for free like me without any problems.

Pros: The ability to share access to login information to websites/apps without allowing the team member to actually see the passwords.

For example, we hired an in-house designer on a 3-month contract to work with us. They needed access to the 30+ websites to complete their work. To mitigate risk, you don't want the contract worker to have access to those sites after their contract is completed. Instead of resetting passwords after they leave, you can use Last Pass to do the following:

- Admin has the contractor provide an email, where he sends out a request to join our Last Pass team.

- Contractor accepts, and we grant him/her the ability to auto-fill login information. They are not able to view the password at any point (all they see are the black dots when logging in)

- when the contract is us, you just remove that user from the team, and voila! They no longer have access to those passwords at all, removing the need to do any password changes.

Cons: The price is a bit steep, but its the best option on the market, so we just bite the bullet and pay for it.

Overall: Password management for our employees, once a member is added, it completely removes the question "Hey what was the password for X and Y?" from the workplace

Pros: Employees desperately need tools like LastPass to enforce secure password sharing and to help them quickly enter passwords into the variety of online software tools they use daily - the need for this tool varies from job to job, but the use case is clear. Using this tool allows you to bypass the unfortunate habit of passwords on sticky notes and also helps with offboarding employees and terminating access to many company accounts or shared sites. LastPass is reasonably priced for this and has nice Chrome extensions to speed up the process of entering passwords online.

Cons: The admin console can be confusing - particularly the sharing functionality. For security reasons, if employees lose access/forget how to access an account, it can be very difficult to help them regain access. Some employees just don't understand why/how to use LastPass and get frustrated by it. It seems to be one of those software tools where people are divided: People love or hate it. IT has to be more involved in training employees on this tool so that hte full benefits are realized.

Comments: Active LastPass user since September 2012 where its relative ease of use and ability to get up and running while always improving make it our password manager app of choice.

Some pros:

* Ability to securely add, store, and launch a variety of websites and secure notes.

* Encrypted locally and remotely on LastPass servers with multi-factor authentication.

* Security Challenge feature offers great advice on how to better secure your passwords.

* Now free for multiple device types within the same account.

* Active forum to help newbies and advanced users alike.

* Form Fill feature makes short work out of autofilling web and other forms.

* Ability to securely share web site and secure notes with other LastPass users.

* The LastPass blog is informative and keeps you updated.

* The integration of LastPass on a variety of devices via an app and/or extension.

* The ability to quickly see all the items you have shared and that are shared with you.

Some cons:

* Sometimes the LastPass app and/or extension crashes.

* Occasionally, items shared with you or you share with others do not show up until the user repeatedly logs in and out of their account.

* The learning curve for the app is a little bit steep initially and not as intuitive as it could be even for power users.

* The time required to get all your logins and secure notes into the app can be extreme unless you are using a supported password manager with the ability to automatically import all your data.

* Many times when adding a new site, the site URL has to be manually edited to the specific site's login URL.

* The automatic password change option when doing a security challenge fails more often than not leaving you wondering if you password was changed or not.

* Sometimes the app and/or extension inexplicably crashes while adding a new or updating a site login or secure note.

* LastPass on occasion can slow down your system to the point of having to forcibly stop and restart the app.

* Logging off and on every few days seem to alleviate most speed performance problems.

* Being able to select and accept multiple pending share items instead of one-by-one.

* Ability to share a site or secure note with multiple people at the same time instead of one-by-one.

LastPass absolutely Rocks big time and is such an integral part of my day along with a handful of other go-to apps that I use on a minute-by-minute basis with the added bonus of being completely free.

Pros: There is this inbuilt password generation feature where a password is auto-generated based on the type and number of characters you specify. It is free to install this application, and we can use this application across multiple platforms at the same time and it is compatible with almost all popular browsers and platforms. I always had problems with remembering passwords in the past, but this application has made it possible to not just safely store these passwords, but also retrieve them in no time. The best thing is that I don't have to fill forms one by one! This auto-save feature has saved a lot of my time. Multi-factor authentication ensures security and protects your passwords from hackers.

Cons: The refunds take time to get processed. Sharing this information with team members is a very tedious task. A few of our employees who are not technically good, found it difficult to use this application. The customer support team takes several days to respond to queries and concerns!

Pros: -Chrome extension works perfect and allows me to log in everywhere with a single click, always taking care of security issues and warning users about third-party access.

-Offers 2FA with google authenticator and other platforms, adding another layer of security.

-There is a feature that allows a user to compare password between sites and warning if the password it's the same or contains part of it. This is such an amazing feature because if one site suffers an attack and share your password over the internet it's game over.

-Emergency access options with family or friends it's perfect.

-Customer Support it's always available to help us.

Cons: -First time users have an option to export local password (like chrome password manager) but depends on what version are you working it would fail, be sure to upgrade chrome before use import option.

-Features between premium version and free version do not add enough value, they need to improve new options for the enterprise version.

-The user guide isn't very useful for new users.

-Mobile app needs all the options available on the website.

Overall: Solve a security problem and improve our password store process

Pros: Probably one of the greatest aspects of LastPass is the functionality - it does everything a password manager should do! It autofills them, it generates them, and stores them. It does all of that in not only a secure way, but also in a minimally intrusive, aesthetically pleasing way.

Cons: LastPass has so many features, it's incredible! However, given that there are so many features, it can be somewhat difficult to learn how to navigate the whole UI of LastPass, especially when learning more than just how to generate and store passwords. However, this does not take away from the LastPass experience! Not only does it come with a tutorial, but there are also plenty of guides that can be found through proper searches on how to use even the most advanced features of LastPass!

Overall: I think a given is that LastPass is definitely helping myself and many others with secure passwords. Too often do people use the same password over and over (or using easily guessed passwords due to time reset requirements). LastPass solves all of these problems.

Pros: Nowadays, with so many websites require unique passwords, it is extremely hard to keep track of all of them in a secure manner. This is where Lastpass comes in. It allows you to store your passwords in a secure vault and you only need to memorize one password after all of it is setup, your Lastpass master password. After all the setup, you get a very functional piece of software that supports multiple platforms and browsers. You set it up then you forget about it, that's how good it is. It also has other useful features baked in such as password generator which generates a very secure password for you.

Cons: I have found the android app and autofill to be slightly buggy since Android Oreo but the basic functions still perform fine. I am sure that the developers at Lastpass are hard at work solving these bugs. Other than that, Lastpass is and will remain as my goto password managing program because of how streamlined and universally available it is.

Pros: Simply put: If you're not using a password manager, you are in danger. Passwords are an archaic, deeply flawed way to provide security but unfortunately, it's what we're stuck with and worse, every site has different, idiotic rules around passwords. One requires punctuation, another forbids it -- and so on. So we all need something to manage passwords. The free version of LastPass is probably all you need but if you want the upgrade's capabilities, it's cheap. Simply put, it recognizes password and other identity fields and fills them in for you, from its securely stored cloud storage. You can also fill in forms and enter credit cards, your address, etc. There are alternatives s well: 1Password is hugely well-loved by Mac and iOS users; Dashlane and Keeper are others that get good reviews.

Cons: Sometimes fails to recognize fields, presumably because the forms were coded using a different name than LastPass expected.

Pros: Stores account information, secure notes, payment information, and form autofill profiles in the cloud and allow you to use them automatically in every browser with an extension! Still quite affordable for the features and service that you get. A good mobile app with browser and app autofill. Security is solid, even if there is ever a data breach the encryption is highly secure and client-side. The user experience in the vault has improved greatly in recent releases.

Cons: Sharing your personal and work LastPass accounts is a bit cumbersome and quirky, though it works. Sometimes it fails to offer to save a new password that it's generated, potentially causing you to lose it and have to reset the password again. Its feature to auto-change passwords for certain common sites doesn't always work well. The vault account settings interface is very clunky and poorly designed, though the rest of the vault user experience has improved greatly.

Pros: LastPass lets you put all your password into one location so you only have to really remember your lastpass password to get in anywhere. LastPass also uses dual authentication which makes me feel more secure about my password since for someone to log in and get access to all my passwords they would need my password and my phone (we use duo mobile for this process).

Another neat feature is that when you use the browser plugin it will automatically detect login forms so that you can autofill in your username and password with other form fields if needed. Last pass can be also used to generate complex passwords for you. It also will pull in your browser stored passwords and tell you which passwords are the same across all your accounts and recommends you to change them.

Cons: LastPass can be a little user unfriendly to none "techy" people. I usually have to help some coworkers with setting LastPass up.

Overall: LastPass allows us to have secure passwords for all our accounts in one location. This helps us enforce our employees to have safe and secure passwords.

Pros: LastPass is my favorite password manager. It has a fantastic security model. LastPass can't even access my data. It also has good integration with all the devices and browsers that I use. It works really well on my mobile device. I use it to store around 450 passwords. I also really like the "Shared Folder" functionality. I use it to share my passwords with my wife.

Cons: I dislike that it was sold to LogMeIn. LogMeIn has a history of increasing prices on their products and removing free tiers. Although it's been at least a year, and they have been decent stewards, I'm still a bit nervous. Another thing that I don't really like is that it is closed source. There is no way to determine how secure their product actually is without seeing the source. Now, I understand that a select few people have seen the source code. I trust my rep, so I'll trust LastPass.

Overall: I no longer need to manage my own passwords. This is huge.

Pros: LastPass Enterprise makes storing and retrieving passwords for the company safe, secure and easy. Easy lookup, fast integration into different browsers and an internal security/permissions system allows different levels of staff/user access. I like how it has secure notes, a security challenge/verification system, and folder support for arranging lots of different websites, systems and logins. Overall, it's very capable with a lot of useful features.

Cons: Sometimes LastPass does not recognize a website, or automatically prompt to fill in passwords. On other occasions, it transposes the username/email with the password, depending on the website design. Having said that, it does a pretty good job with the majority of websites.

Overall: LastPass allows us to use long, secure passwords for all sites, accounts and logins. The ease of use in retrieval makes it easy to use and share information with other staff members.

Pros: For years I have looked for ways to bypass the stress of re-inputting login details or information in a secured way, though different browsers seem to provide an option of re-inputting these information but in an unsecured way, everything seem to turn around when I discovered LastPass Enterprise I couldn't help but to remain in awe at the features it possesses. Firstly, I discovered I could save all my login information with just a single password that kept me excited and accomplished.

Secondly, it gives you the opportunity to share your password with your team bypassing the stress of having too many passwords for a single software or site.

I am highly grateful for the kind of interface it has which allows you navigate and move swiftly while using the software, irrelevant pop ups clears quickly while relevant ones remains. I couldn't ask for a better password manager as to Lastpass. Thank you

Cons: In as much as I really enjoy using this software, I discovered a simple glitch which needs to be worked on for a more efficient management, the pain of Lastpass not saving up password in some site in hurting and weakening, this CON should be looked and taken care of.

Overall: I would say for the time I have used Lastpass Enterprise I find their Pros greater than their CON, therefore I will strongly recommend them for anyone needing a password manager for their business or company.

Pros: LastPass is simply the best password management suite out there. It includes apps for most (if not all) operating systems and mobile devices. With the recent update of iOS 12, it now integrates so much better with Apple devices because you no longer have to toggle back and forth between the LastPass app and the app that you're trying to populate passwords for.

Cons: N/A - There's not a single thing that I dislike about this product.

Overall: My experience has been amazing. I recommend this product to anyone who will listen. Some folks will have security concerns with it being cloud-based, but LastPass has a lot of protections in place to ensure that you're data is safe. Additionally, the level of access to your LastPass accounts can be greatly augmented by ensuring that you are following security best practices when you implement the product in your organization. Enable 2FA, use hardware tokens if you can (YubiKey anyone), and ensure that the "master" password is strong.

Pros: I tries LastPass for the first time when it was recommended by Logmein. Since then I've tried few other similar software, because of some glitches with sessions, but I came back running to LastPass as the features outweigh the glitches significantly. I keep all my important notes in there, and what's amazing, if installed on your phone, even the apps will autopopulate the logins. I use Google Pixel phone and logging into an app is as simple as tapping my fingerprint on the back of the phone. Love it.

Cons: It has few minor glitches with retaining session, and few of the websites will get confused about the login. I wish there was some better custom way of figuring out how to save proper logins for sites like Gmail and Facebook. I probably can tweak it somehow, but till today I didn't think it to be user friendly enough for these types of sites.

Pros: The browser integration and phone app are great. It supports two factor authentication even on it's free tier. Switching between accounts (in this case a work account and a business account) was very simple. When working via a web site it's prompt to save a password isn't obtrusive and is very handy, the AI for figuring out if it is a password save situation is pretty smart as well.

Cons: There isn't much not to like, I have looked into it but the one small thing I liked about keypassX before moving over than I think is different is I haven't seen a way to pull an encrypted version of my password database local with the free version but to be honest I haven't looked that hard so it may actually be there.

Overall: It has met all of my needs and expectations as a password manager, it is also accessible via an API so it can be used with Jenkis builds and automation software for secure key storage.

Pros: Lastpass does a reasonably good job of recognizing when you insert credentials, and filling them in itself. You can easily generate random passwords. And sometimes when you are setting up a new password, Lastpass sees the "New Password" box and puts the generated password right in there. You can share passwords with others. The addon is available in many browsers, even MS Edge (now that it supports addons.)

Cons: Sometimes it fails to recognize when you insert credentials, or it will not fill in a form, or it will not recognize the form at all. Since a recent update you cannot copy passwords and usernames very easily (there used to be dedicated buttons right in the menu, but now you have to open the site information, unhide the password, select it, and copy it. And this is necessary for example when Lastpass does not see a form to fill.

Pros: This is the greatest password manager in the cloud. Everything is encrypted before it leaves your computer and remains encrypted in the cloud. The plugins for your phone and for your browsers help you put in your password everywhere you need it when you need it. I love the password generator and it's flexibility in generating passwords. You can also share enterprise passwords between accounts so no pore password spreadsheets laying around your infrastructure.

Cons: There is no option to host yourself on premise. That would be the only thing that would make Last pass better and where Bitwarden has an advantage.

Overall: I have used Last pass in my personal and professional life for a long time and it has never let me down keeping my credentials safe and thus allowing me to have a different password for every site raising my security level for my accounts on the internet.

Pros: I love that I am able to share my passwords to colleagues without having to give them the actual password, and that I can revoke it whenever necessary. This is actually my favorite feature in LastPass, I can confidently share my password with family, or colleagues, securely. I can also remove it anytime.

Cons: One time, a client mistakenly removed my LastPass access from their account, but she removed my entire account instead, not just revoked my access to their enterprise account. It caused a lot of issues, and I hope LastPass makes it that administrators of enterprise accounts cannot disable the entire account and just revoke access.

Overall: It has definitely saved me from people knowing how I come up with my passwords, and it has also made being able to work with someone remotely very easy since you just share logins with the LastPass dashboard with a few clicks.

Pros: LastPass is extremely easy to add to your internet browser, and even easier to use. When I log onto a website for the first time, sign up for a website, or even change my password, LastPass recognizes these actions immediately and shows a pop-up screen asking if I want to save the password info. LastPass never interrupts my web activity with their pop-ups, and the choice of two-factor authenticication gives me reassurance my info is safe.

Cons: There is little I do not like about LastPass, but I have found that it can sometimes lag loading webpages when I use Safari, but never with Chrome. The free version would not be enough if someone was very cautious about their data or had to enter sensitive data frequently. The paid version offers some great features, such as priority tech support, which I think all users should have access to use.

Overall: LastPass has saved me a lot of headaches because my job requires me to have multiple online accounts. There is a lot of pressure on me to protect my work online, but just as importantly, to have easy to quick access to these accounts. Now that LastPass helps manage my passwords, it is so much easier and less stressful when accessing my work accounts.

Pros: Lastpass is a software that has a wide variety of access. There are extensions for most modern browsers and there is even a mobile app for the mobile browsers. This makes accessing accounts easy from any device. Using the application, a password can be generated which saves that awkward time finding a secure password. Passwords are organized into various groups so finding a password is simple to do. One of the main features for a business is to share passwords which is easily done with encryption through Lastpass.

Cons: Lastpass does have some glitches which can make it a bit annoying. Sometimes, it just logs you out of the application and there can also be server issues. The pricing of the application does make an added cost for the business. The user interface is a bit outdated and clunky. There are a lot of unnecessary menus and it isn't organized very well. The customer support was also not that effective at solving some of the syncing issues I had.

Pros: LastPass Enterprise makes it easy for me to manage passwords for my team. Sharing with individuals in LastPass is by far the most intuitive experience compared to other password managers I've tried.

Cons: The interface has gotten dramatically better but it's still the weakest point. A lot of functionality is buried behind right-click instead of being available directly in the UI (and even though I know this, I constantly forget it). Shared folders just prepend the word "Shared" (rather than being visually different) and there's no way to filter so you only see shared folders, for instance. Some of the icons can be a bit confusing (the collapse and expand folders icons in particular). I wish you could drag-and-drop folders to make creating groups easier.

It also doesn't seem possible to provide multiple domains for a given website which is frustrating.

I've also had trouble getting in touch with LastPass via their official Twitter support. I was able to answer my own questions and didn't ultimately need their response (and email support will likely have been more responsive) but it's still worrisome that their official Twitter support channel ignored me completely!

Pros: It seems like every day I have to create an account for something. Best practices for the internet indicate that I should not use the same password twice. How to resolve this? Use a password manager! I've been using LastPass for several years now to generate and store secure passwords for all the user accounts I have to make for work, life, and everything in between. I can customize what types of characters I want in the passwords I'm generating, and keep my websites in folders to help keep them organized.

Cons: Sometimes it has trouble filling in my information, but that's always due to the fact that the website in question has changed their URL enough that it looks different than the original site I saved. Either way, the solution is easy because I can just look it up in my vault!

Pros: People are terrible at remembering passwords. They're even worse about creating passwords. LastPass takes the guesswork out of both. By having a solution that allows for the secure creation and storage of passwords, the most significant vulnerability in our organization is taken care of. I like that I can shut down accounts of employees after they leave us. I like that there's so much policy control- it prevents bad things from happening at the source. Integration with active directory makes it even more seamless, as it makes identity federation possible. My staff loves that they only need to remember one password; I love that hundreds of their passwords are secure. It's also a great way to share passwords without compromising our systems.

Cons: I guess I wish it cost less (though four bucks a user is pretty reasonable). Lastpass is, with a few exceptions, a single function tool, and the costs add up.

Overall: Security.

Pros: I like that there is a free version so you can try it out with an option to pay if using in an enterprise environment. Easy to use to login to many websites that require usernames and password - essential if you work in the Web Development industry like me.

Cons: If you use this software on multiple websites using the same domain, but with a different subdomain, the software thinks you are still on the main domain and suggests you enter in the main domain's username and password even though the website that you are on in a sub domain is a completely differnet website. This can make logging into websites if you are a web admin quite difficult on testing/development websites.

Overall: Easy to use password management system that is highly secure as well. I save time by using this instead of our old database driven in-house password manager.

Pros: A colleague of mine was talking up his password keeper. It sounded useful but expensive, so I researched for alternatives and decided to try LastPass. It's been pretty handy to keep track of passwords. You don't realize how many passwords you really have until you start compiling them in one place. LastPass encourages you to have a different password for each site, which is a good idea.

Cons: I've found it doesn't work for every site and situation. I have one that requires a password and then a pin, and as far as I can tell LastPass can only remember one of them. It may work really well on my desktop browser, but it's pretty quirky on my Android phone. There are some pages that it keeps popping up trying to offer a password when I don't even need one. And it doesn't seem to work with some apps that need authentication. But, at least I can always lookup a password to see it, if it doesn't automatically put it in for me.

Pros: LastPass is cloud-hosted password management. Their website and browser extensions allow you to access your passwords in multiple ways.

The folder management is confusing, but can be helpful. I liked that we could have a few paid accounts and share necessary folders and passwords with free accounts.

I also never got hacked or exploited, which is always good. And it's relatively cheap.

Cons: As far as reliability goes, LastPass is a complete wreck. Out of the 8 people on my team, 6 of them couldn't even access the browser extension - all for completely different reasons. The software just didn't work as advertised.

The website is so slow and clunky, and it can take quite a while for shared creds to actually arrive in the recipient's inbox. Clearing the cache and reloading sometimes resolved the issues, sometimes didn't.

Not having a desktop app is a big con for me. I don't work offline very often, but the speed and flexibility of a desktop app far outweighs the benefits of being browser-only.

The interfaces for the browser extension and website are cluttered and confusing at best. They need yet another redesign ASAP.

Administrator tools are limited if at all existent. Recovering and managing accounts is troublesome.

Overall: At the end of the day, LastPass wasn't worth the trouble. We ended up switching to One Password. You should do the same.

Pros: It is a secure password management solution that allows you to manage logins, passwords and secure notes. I like that LastPass doesn't even have access to my content since it is encrypted on their servers. It is easy to use and prompts you to add new sites but leaves the choice up to you.

Cons: It works really slick IF you have the browser extension installed. If it isn't installed then it seems to not want to fill in my information sometimes. I think that it might have something to do with our site security or default browser configuration.

Overall: It saves me tons of time and helps me try to keep my sanity! Since most people have so many different accounts and it is not a good idea to reuse credentials, this is the only way that I would be able to keep it all straight. I have it on my phone which makes it easy to login to accounts on the go!

Pros: Reasonable price

Sync across all my devices

Makes it simple to generate and use strong passwords

Authenticator app makes a fantastic companion; glad they designed their own

Cons: User interface sometimes lacks polish

Sometimes browser integrations don't work with all websites

Overall: I chose LastPass for password management because it has all the integration features I need at a VERY reasonable price. At $1/month, it blows the competition away in terms of price. I've found the browser integrations, Mac OS app and iPhone app to all work very well.

I use their authentication app as well. It allows me to authenticate some sites by simply approving a request on my phone rather than having to type in the 6 digit code.

I recently got an account for my wife so I can share some passwords with her for sites we both need to use. Sharing was extremely simple.

I will say that it can take a little getting used to at first. The user interface might not be as clean as some of its competitors, but for the price, it doesn't bother me. Sometimes pop-up blockers can interfere with functionality, so you'll want to make sure to follow their setup instructions to get things working smoothly.

Recommendations to other buyers: Even if you don't use LastPass, FOR THE LOVE, please use SOMETHING! We're way past the day when you should be using your dogs name as your password for everything.

Pros: I feel pretty confident that my passwords are secure when I use LastPass, and LastPass makes sure all my passwords are unique.

Those are the most important things. Better to use a password manager like LastPass than not to use one.

Cons: I'm required to use LastPass by my company, but I prefer to use a simpler solution like Keepass.

And the main reason by far is that LastPass has--in my opinion--absolutely terrible design. The UX (user experience) is just miserable.

To this day, I can't figure out the difference between all the different levels of "shared" passwords, and I certainly can't figure out how to *change* the levels of access among them.

I'm glad the software offers to automatically populate passwords in the appropriate fields when you get to a login page, because any time I have to navigate the UI of the LastPass widget in my Mac OS toolbar, it's a pretty painful experience.

Design is not this app's strong suit.

It's been a game-changer for me. Password managers like LastPass increase my productivity greatly.

Pros: I work with 1000s of passwords and this allows me to have a bank of them that is readily accessible and at my finger tips. The customer service is good, and it's relatively easy to use. The mobile app is good.

Cons: Well, there was a security breach a while back; that has to be the worst of it. Of note, to date I haven't been affected by this and it's probably all right, but this is the kind of thing the company has to know was a big problem (and they do). I would still recommend the software. The mobile Safari integration could be better, too, but it's there and improving and, admittedly, they are limited because of the iPhone sandboxing and limitations imposed by Apple.

Overall: It has made my workflow much more productive, and, although I haven't tried the competition, this software is a fraction of the price.

Pros: What I like the most in LastPass is its integration into browsers.

After authorization on web page, LastPass suggests to store the password in its protected storage, that I find really handy.

I have a huge amount of passwords stored in LastPass since I started using it.

This is why I like the feature that allows me to group saved passwords by folders.

Cons: After program installation, it looked a bit over-complicated for me.

However, after watching training video the rest was easy.

When I started using LastPass I had some issue accessing my account.

I reached their client support a few times, but they remained unresponsive unfortunately.

After paid version purchase I got better support though.

Overall: Though there are dozens of similar software, I keep using LastPass for years.

Pros: This will be literally the last password you have to remember. Extremely useful for those who has many accounts and value their time (as I am). It's very handy to login into one account and get access to all your password instead of trying to remember account info for each service or website. It saved me a lot of time and nerves! In addition you are able to generate new passwords right there, with this tool. The price is low and affordable for any person. Thank you, LastPass team, for creating very useful tool :)

Cons: It's almost impossible to reach the Support team in case if you have some problems with your account or the service works buggy. Anyway, such situations don't appear too often, and this is good.

Overall: Safe storage for hundreds of your passwords!

Pros: Great for storing passwords, helps keep our passwords more random and harder to break, the security is great and the service never seems to have issues.

Cons: The injected button on the side of the credentials fields sometimes has issues because it conflicts with the make password visible icon, or other icons that are on the right of the textboxes. Some websites, like gmail, have a two part login process which doesn't seem to work well with Lastpass. It sees the new password but not the account name and if you try to add the account name in the little save now window it doesn't add it so you have to open the newly created record and add the account name and save it.

Overall: This software is very important for our industry since we have so many different sites with logins that we are required to use.

Pros: Because every password should look like M3K@$uSTEa3duYG3@Oh3 you will need a password manager.

Lastpass is fast. Secure (especially with multi factor auth supported). Many integrations into existing infrastructure etc.

You actually do not need to worry about single-sign-on anymore. That actually seems a bit scary now.

Filling forms automatically makes it even easier.

Lastly: Sharing passwords with users that cannot even see them (only fill logins with them) is also great.

Support is fast and especially if it is closely related to security.

Cons: Sometimes the browser extensions get stuck or forms do not fill well.

A few more integrations into other applications would be great. They mainly fill logins and forms on the web automatically.

Pros: LastPass is a powerful and solid password manager. It's been in the market for years, and keeps the reputation it earned over this time. It has support for various 2-factor authentication methods, including its own Authenticator. The Enterprise version allows you to include your personal account so you don't need to keep changing between both.

Cons: Sharing folders and entries is not a simple task: the interface says the entry is being shared but the other may not be able to access it. The way it merges with your personal account is also not great. As it happens in the Personal version, the interface looks a bit old and has many hidden options that make application not friendly for non technical users

Overall: LastPass is a safer way to share password in our team

Pros: I was very hesitant to put all of my passwords into one location - after all, isn't the saying "don't put all of your eggs in one basket", but I did a bit of research and found that LastPass is a reliable and trusted tool. From the day I signed up, I have never looked back. I am able to store the ridiculous number of passwords that I need to remember and have access to them whenever I need. It is easy to save and update information and there are lots of tools that help you to keep your information secure.

Cons: I honestly have no complaints about the software. I would love to not have to pay for premium features (wouldn't we all!) but they are worth it.

Overall: Excellent software from the web based to the app. I recommend it to everyone I know!

Pros: Ease of use

Overall: LastPass is a lifesaver! It is the one tool you will ever need to remember your passwords. It is an extension for your browser and it is also an app you can get on your phone.

Remembering passwords can be a nightmare!

Let LastPass remember them for you. Just don't forget the password you need to get into LastPass. Sure they can help you recover it. I just mean, it is the only one you will ever need.

Don't remember if you even signed up for a service. Try to login and if you did then LastPass will have your login data all ready for you.

It can be set to auto login. It will ask you if you want it to remember when you join a new site.

I use this tool and I love it!

It's not safe to use the same password everywhere. But often that is the only way you can remember. Let LastPass remember it for you. It can even create a password for you. One that is almost impossible to crack. Stop struggling with losing your password. Get LastPass. You'll thank me.

Pros: Secure, easy way to manage and create passwords. LastPass makes it easy to store complex passwords without having to remember them. Since LastPass syncs across all major browsers and platforms, you can have all your passwords in one place. LastPass also lets you securely store notes and account information. LastPass Enterprise also makes sharing sensitive information securely with other team members easy. Even has 2FA if needed. No more sharing passwords over IM clients or email that is generally insecure. No more sticky notes on the desk!

Cons: The LastPass client will log out after so many days so make sure you remember your master password to get logged back in!

Overall: We needed a solution to be able to share sensitive data within our team. LastPass does this nicely. We can manage our data in one place and share it out as needed. Users can get write or just read permissions as needed.

Pros: - My all time solution for keeping all my social credentials safe and encrypted.

- I used to forget all the time passwords for my social platforms, which is very annoying cause everytime then i have to reset my password but lastpass makes it easy by remembering and storing my credentials safe.

- Free to use

- Also has premium functions for very affordable price.

- Solid and consistennt design throughout all platforms makes it easier for users for functioning.

- Generate random secured password for your new accounts or any account.

Cons: - Sometimes unreliable when it gives access to vault randomly sometimes without even asking the password.

- Stand-alone app on desktop as well as mac is not that reliable and user-friendly.

Overall: LastPass has made me free from all the headache of resetting the passwords everytime i forgot the passwords and easy sharing of passwords peer to peer.

Pros: Besides full windows and linux support, and support for all browser, main reason to selecting Last pass was smartphone support (in our case Android). Ease of using it, thinking of all security aspects, etc. made us chose this password manager.

Cons: Sometimes it is hard to set it up the way you want, even if it might not be most secure or desired way. Autofill forms is sometimes buggy and application has problems if android is not restarted for long time (weeks) and requires restart.

Overall: Besides password management that needs to be done this way (just don't use same password everywhere or write passwords somewhere unencrypted), autofill forms is helpfull feature. It helps that it supports mobile platforms as more and more business is done from mobile clients.

Pros: I liked the integration aspect of this software. Every time you need to put in a password on a website, the plugin would pop up asking you to use the password which was fairly convenient. When managing a team, it makes it easy to share access without giving out the passwords each time.

Cons: I thought the UI was very cluttered and so, if you're using this software to add in a lot of team members, you'll have to schedule a training so they know how it works. Otherwise, it's not very intuitive and I found a lot of team members not even using it because it seemed more complicated than just sharing passwords.

Overall: Sharing access without having to share passwords is a huge plus for a company, especially if passwords are constantly being updated to keep everything secure. Managing a team, Lastpass made it easy to keep passwords updated without having to send a mass email with new passwords which is neither secure nor convenient.

Pros: A simple, powerful password manager - with an amazingly strong sharing feature. It works well with the chrome extension and the Android app, really being available exactly when you need it. The security checkups that it offers and the password generator are both amazing features that I rely on VERY regularly. I've never paid for the service, and am amazed that they continue to offer it for free (for which I'm VERY thankful.) Dead simple to use!

Cons: Sometimes the extension can be a little buggy - but that's arguably the conflicts with the sites you are on. Often times my coworkers will mention that it isn't working for them - but you can always click on the extension icon (it recognizes whether it knows an email for the site you are on) - and copy the password. Still less motion than trying to remember your password! :)

Pros: I worked at an agency, and it was unreal the number of logins and passwords that we had to work with on a daily basis. Without LastPass, we wouldn't have been able to keep up. This allowed us to keep client's important and sensitive information stored somewhere safe. But also to access their sites and tools with teh click of a button. This is a huge time saver!

Cons: You MUST remember your initial login password. There is no turning back if you lose that information. You will lost access to your account. So write it down and store it somewhere safe in case of an emergency. It's very easy to get locked out of this tool.

Overall: A must have for agencies who work wtih many different passwords.

Pros: Personally, I have been using LastPass for more than 2+ years and has gotten better with age. My team at work love it and has made our lives easier when it comes to creating passwords and sharing them. We have a lot of people who come and go but we have to share passwords with them but LastPass makes it easy to share it without giving away the password. Recommend LastPass to anyone or company looking to streamline passwords and release the headache of password management.

Cons: The only thing I would say I don't like about LastPass is its payment system on mobile. So hard to find it and would also like for it to be easier and intuitive. Seems to complicated at times.

Pros: Everything about LastPass makes my life easier. The secure password generator, auto-complete logins, security tests, mobile app lets me access my passwords on my mobile device.

Cons: It takes some managing, to get your auto-complete logins to work properly.

Overall: For a long time, I avoided password managers. I was a skeptic. When I started working at my current job, I was introduced to Last Pass, and now I use it for everything. My passwords are now unique and super secure. I can access them and edit them with relative ease. Logging in to sites that I often use is a breeze now with Auto-complete logins. Last Pass takes away all the pain of signups/logins and remembering which username/email/password you used to sign up. All you need to remember is what email you used to sign up to LastPass and your master password (which LastPass doesn't even know).

Also, the LastPass mobile app is very useful if you need to login while you are on the go.

Recommendations to other buyers: I haven't tried any of the other major players in password management, but I know that LastPass offers all the same features for a fraction of what the others cost. I'm very happy with LastPass to date, and I honestly don't know how I would manage all of my web accounts without it.

Pros: There are an increasing number of integrations that have come out recently. LastPass is more web based (does not store passwords locally), which makes it more secure. I also like that it is available for use on all major operating systems.

Cons: If you want to tweak certain features it can be rather confusing and tedious sometimes to really get it working exactly how you imagine it should. Typically I can figure it out on my own if I keep trying though, so I have only contacted support one time.

Pros: The encryption is crazy good! Your passwords are in a virtual veritable vault! Also, the application will help you create unique and STRONG passwords for everything that requires a password! I would HIGHLY recommend this for anyone! It has a browser plugin for every browser and is cross-platform on the mobile device front as well. Well done!!!

Cons: The only "Con" would be that it cannot autofill application passwords. This may be by design, but it would be a nice feature to add.

Pros: I was that person who tried to keep all of my passwords in my head. After many failed attempts and many password resets, I finally gave Last Pass a try. Why, oh, why didn't I sign up sooner? It completely relieved the stress of trying to remember passwords, writing them down and losing them, or using the same password for everything and risking getting hacked.

The setup is easy, and the popup reminder when creating accounts on websites makes it a one-step process to secure passwords into your Last Pass Vault. There's only one password to remember, and that's the one for Last Pass. Everything else is auto-filled and encrypted. Lovely!

Cons: I'd love online chat or a phone number, but customer support is limited to tickets and forums. For the excellent price, having to wait a bit is not a bad trade.

Pros: LastPass is the best password manager I have found. It lets you generate long, secure passwords and safely store them for easy retrieval. You can specify the password length and whether to use letters, numbers, and/or special characters. You only have to remember one password, and LastPass takes care of the rest. The LastPass extension in Chrome makes it easy to sign into most websites using your stored password.

Cons: Not all websites are optimized to work with LastPass, so sometimes LastPass can't automatically fill in your password. For those sites you have to pull up your vault, search for that site, and copy and paste the password.

Pros: LastPass is an awesome tool to help users to store logins and other information securely. It can sync with all the devices and sync your credentials too. Just need to remember a master password to login that, rest all automatically works. you can save a profile too in it and then it will fill the form with your profile details automatically. when you enter the password it even tells you the strength of it. you can generate a random password from this too. you can even save notes in it, that is also a very good feature.

Cons: Only two suggestions from my side, Cost of their premium service if high, although most of the basic feature works in the free version, I didn't face any issue in the free plan. Second is its Android app doesn't works that well in chrome app login.

Being a premium user, I can share passwords with my colleagues in a secure way. This makes them to access my account on my behalf without actually giving them access to the site password. This feature is not available in free version.

Recommendations to other buyers: LastPass is one of the most powerful and easy to use tool. It is a must for every user.

Pros: It makes it easy to share secrets amongst teammates. We no longer have to encrypt them and email them around to one another. It provides lots of organizational capabilities so that all of the passwords, tokens and other secret data used by us can be shared with anyone who needs them. We can manage who can access what.

Cons: I was locked out of my account once after changing my password. I'm certain I knew the new password but nobody could figure out why I was locked out. I had to reset my account so I lost most of my personal stored passwords and had to spend all day resetting everything. This never happened again though.

Pros: Main advantage: it's relatively cheap if you compare to competition and it have completely free fully functional version. In the same time it's reliable and after some getting used - easy to play with. It could be integrated with FA and even with a Yubico Yubikey hardware token (Premium version) . It's possible to share password with family and friends or share it only in case of emergency. Browser plugin works great and usually without any problems. They going with this software in the right direction and It's definitely worth to try.

Cons: Multiple logins to the same site/domain could be done better. Authenticator can't add two pins to the same site. Interface is a little bit odd.

Overall: Personall passwords and importand data security. Ability to securely share passwords with family members.

Pros: LastPass allows me to use super secure, randomly generated passwords on all accounts without having to remember them plus the URL detection and auto-fill means I can login to websites in a fraction of the time it would take to log in manually. Their is also the offline vault in case you don't have internet access on mobile devices.

Cons: There are some browser plugin issues from time to time that causes temporary annoyances. the Login popup dialog box on Android devices can be annoying also.

Overall: As a web developer with many, many passwords and logins, this piece of software saves me time on a daily basis which probably adds up to hundreds of hours over a year!

Pros: I don't know what I would do without LastPass. Even the free version is awesome! Secure password management that is actually easy to use? Has plugins and integrations in all major browsers, iOS, and Android devices. Handy Password Generator comes in useful when coming up with those really complicated and/or long passwords.

Cons: Sometimes it won't pick up on certain password updates. I'm sure there is a semi-simple explanation as to why, but it still can be quite annoying. It can also be annoying when you tell it to not save a password, but it will continue to ask to save it everytime the page reloads.

Pros: The vault is nicely designed and easy-to-use. You can break your passwords into categories and they populate the website logos so it's easy to find what you need. The Chrome extension and phone app are perfect companions and in my opinion the best feature is Generate Secure Password. I never have to create a password. I fill out the specs needed (uppercase, lowercase, special characters, numbers, # of characters) and it creates on for me, then uses it in the form or saves it to my vault. It's made my life so much easier.

Cons: Sometimes when you create a new username and password it doesn't properly save the username. Instead it might grab different information as the "username" but that could be a bug on the website I created stuff on. Not too sure.

Pros: I tried a few FOSS options before landing on Lastpass. What made me stay was the easy of setup and the simple integrations with my browsers. What made me become a paid users was the easy access controls and security for my dev team. We can easily control password access, group information by projects, and keep simple notes. We also use 2F Auth and even with some users consistently wiping devices, they've never been locked out. It's seems foolproof. I can also keep my personal and professional logins seperate

Cons: The chrome extension is a bit intrusive when taking over login boxes, but I often just turn it off.

Overall: My experience is overwhelmingly positive and the cost per user for the security of sharing login information among teams is well worth it for small teams.

Pros: There are a lot to like about LastPass, it is one of the most secure website out there, knowing that they would store your password, they made sure that they use the best security and hire the best security employee.

Remembering your password on different website is hard, making every website with the same password is a bad idea, LastPass helps with this scenario. Best of all, it would notify you if you have the same password on other site. You could also just generate password on every site.

The platform support is amazing, it has extensions for browsers and it has apps on all mobile platform, which makes it a universal solution for your passwords. On Android, it even has fingerprint to unlock.

Cons: Last time i use the chrome extension while debugging a website, it logs tons of data which makes debugging on chrome useless, so i ended up removing the chrome extension.

The web interface dont have copy password shortcut or copy username, it tries to be smart by launching the website and setting the username and password for you, but sometimes it doesnt work properly.

On the mac app, i wish they have copy username and password too like KeePassX.

Overall: It is better at managing password then storing it somewhere like notepad, it made my passwords better.

Pros: Being able to access my all my passwords and never having to use the brainpower to remember all of them. Especially the software I only log in to once a year. This also makes it very easy to share and store passwords as a business. This is so important especially if someone quits or get fired. Every employee is required to use this service when signing up for a new service so that our managers can access the account if something were to happen.

Cons: Some employees found LastPass harder to use than others. I personally found it easy but I have had other less technical employees complain.

Pros: I love that it stores the dozens (100+) of passwords required for various financial, load, legal, and customer sites required for the transportation industry. Plus, it's free so what else do you need?!?

Cons: When you get that many sites stored inside, it can be tedious to search through looking for the one you need, especially when there are half a dozen similar logins. Also, because of all the similar legal sites, sometimes the software doesn't catch changes and then you end up with duplicates..

Overall: It's much more secure than our old method of word and notepad documents, it's easy to use, transfers it's info between devices, and free!

Comments: I have the premium version of this app, so my passwords are synced across all of my devices. I was growing sick and tired of trying to remember hundreds of passwords, and I definitely did not want to make a record of them in any of my Cloud storage, so this app stepped in and filled my need. It works well with the fingerprint sensor on my phone, eliminating my need to log in with user name and password continually. The auto-generate password option is great to keep my passwords from being easily guessed. I have never had an issue with this product, so it has been well-worth my money!

Pros: Easy to use Secure Syncs across all devices Set it up and let it run Visually pleasing to the eye

Cons: Not free, but definitely worth what I pay though :)

Pros: I love that everything is secure and that I can share client passwords and login info with my team members on an as-needed basis and not worry about removing access or changing passwords if needed.

Cons: I don't like that when clients share their passwords via lastpass to me, that I can't also share them with team members. I have to ask the client to share each time to each individual team member.

Overall: I'm able to provide clients with peace of mind by not sharing their logins via email or text. They know that they can share with ease and unshare at any time they need. It also saves me hours of time per week trying to remember and fill in passwords!

Pros: Through countless machines, operating systems, desktops, and mobiles my data was there when I needed it. In a marketing position I find myself filling out many forms, and a reliable way to safely password those accounts. I used LastPass along side other similar products in the beginning worried about losing access to sites. For the past year or so I have used LastPass and have thousands of records stored. It is my #1 used product and I hope they keep up the high standards.

Cons: Sorting and utilizing the data you have stored for bookmarking and notes within the extension would be a great feature. I don't feel it is a "con", but it is a feature a similar software product offers which I have looked into for this feature.

Pros: One time installation of the LastPass Chrome plugin has saved me a lot of time. The free version is very rich in terms of features. The user interface as well as the user experience is sleek and intuitive. One can manage credentials of multiple accounts with a click of the button. Hassle-free usage: can generate complex passwords, login automatically (if required) and has a neat administrative panel.

Cons: Pricing for Enterprise accounts is a bit expensive from a startup point of view. As for the application itself, I haven't faced any issue of consequence till date.

Pros: The amount of time and brainpower spent on password recovery, remembering passwords, all that is basically nonexistent now. I only need to remember one password, and the rest are managed by LastPass. I have all my passwords changed regularly to incredibly complex strings that probably could never be hacked.

Cons: The one sticky point of this, is now you have a single portal where if it's hacked, all of your passwords can be compromised. I'm a bit wary of things like that, so I only use it for sites that don't have a lot of information on me. I'm not ready to use LastPass for my bank, email, or things like that. However, many people do use it for that. In a couple years if they still haven't had a breach, I'll probably go for it.

Pros: Gone are the days of forgetting passwords, having to constantly reset logins, and feeling like your passwords are unsafe. LastPass makes it easy to login to all the platforms you use frequently and remembers your unique passwords. LastPass takes away all the lost time and frustration that use to come along with login into any platform or web portal. I now feel that all my passwords are in a single, secure location as well.

Cons: Highly recommend LastPass for anyone looking for convenience when it comes to managing and organizing passwords and login credentials.

Cons: It's impossible to modify newly added records. Besides of that, this tool is simply perfect for my needs.

Pros: I love how I can have one master password to remember and just keep adding passwords on its database and forget about them.

We use this for work too with the work related sites' passwords all organized in one folder and then shared to the rest of the team.

I like that it can be set up to allow full access and visibility to the shared folder or it can be limited so as no one can see or change the passwords unless he is an admin.

This is perfect for businesses with remote workers using multiple websites and logins not to have to disclose their login credentials all the time and still have control on the privacy of their passwords.

Cons: So far, I have been completely satisfied with its functions.

Comments: I've used Lastpass for business and personal for the past few years. I needed a way other than my old diary to keep track of all the passwords I use and Lastpass filled the bill. I considered the built in tracker in Chrome and iOS but I don't trust them. It's pretty good. Good enough for me not looking for another solution. It does have a few issues in that sometimes I will go to log in and it puts in the wrong password but I'm not sure why. I then type it out or copy and paste right from the app and it works.

Pros: -Keeps all my passwords handy -for daily use I log into one account and autofills most of my passwords

Cons: -it doesn't always work and often will autocorrect a password when you fill it out manually

Pros: I like the password generator and how smart the software is. For example my bank asks me to update my password every 6 months. Whenever this happens LastPass updates the password without me asking. I no longer have to worry about passwords.

Cons: Sometimes when I create a new account for a site, LastPass captures the wrong username, for example my first name instead of the email. It takes 30 seconds to fix but still that's mildly annoying.

Overall: I have access to many accounts of clients and of mine. with LastPass Enterprise I can log in instantly. Also makes easy sharing passwords with people you work with.

Pros: Once we used to store all client passwords on an encrypted machine. However, this proved time-consuming as accountants had to spend time accessing the needed info. With LastPass, the client can share all of the passwords we need with his or her specific accountant. If we create any logins for the client, we can share those back to the client and everything stays organized in one place.

Cons: Typically user-friendly, there are a few websites where saving the password and username initially takes multiple steps as there are multiple login pages to go through.

Comments: LastPass has saved me several times from myself. With all of the systems and passwords these days it is easy to forget (because who uses the same password twice) and I never have to even remember because LastPass does for me.

Pros: I never have to remember the hundreds of logins I use for my personal and business needs.

Cons: It gets a bit tricky when you use the same system for multiple users (aka you have several logins for the same system) BUT if you use the folder system then it makes it super easy.

Recommendations to other buyers: Take advantage of the premium offer, it costs barely anything and it is totally worth it to have your passwords in sync on your mobile device and the other features it offers.

Pros: I love the ability to share access to programs and sites without having to actually allow the person to view or "have" the login credentials.

It also eliminates the need to try to remember which password I'm using this quarter for a software.

Cons: It can sometimes be a pain to find the correct password or login, but this issue is easily eliminated by naming or labeling logins if you have multiple logins for a site.

Overall: The biggest benefit is the ability to share passwords without allowing the person to view credentials, but it has also saved tons of time as it securely stores and retrieves passwords.

Pros: - Storage of passwords.

- Being able to organize said password into separate folders.

- LastPass will create a password for you that is super secure and nobody will guess. (LOVE THIS FEATURE).

- Password protected.

- You can go into LastPass and click on the link for the website you have a password stored in and it will sign you in immediately.

- Has an extension in chrome.

Cons: There are literally no cons. Never had an issue with this.

Overall: I had a company I was doing admin work for. The CEO would store passwords in a document in Google Sheets which is somewhat still secure but not like LastPass. But it also was a hassle because she always needed it sent to her because she didn't really know how to go through the drive. So we switched to LastPass and it was a godsend. I told her to download the extension and then she was always able to access any passwords she needed to without constantly asking in Slack or text or asking for the document. It made it easy.

It is especially good for companies with a plethora of shared accounts across multiple services. No other method has kept our employees from resetting passwords on a weekly basis.

Pros: One master password to rule them all. I've had some friends tell me that is silly, but so is using the same handful of passwords across several accounts. some of the best features I find are: 1. Pros: I LOVE that LastPass is easy to access from my desktop computer but ALSO has an app to access passwords from my phone as well. I run an online business so I have a ton of passwords for various online tools and access everything from various devices. LastPass is very protected as well.

Cons: The thing I like least about it that it does get annoying when lastpass pops up for every little thing dealing with a password or logging into something. It always asks if I want to save my log in info. I think it'd be MUCH better if it didn't pop up, but if we wanted to save it, we will. We can make the choice to save it to lastpass if we want. It just gets annoying having their pop up box show up every single time.
