### "A No-Brainer For Personal Use. An Absolute Must For Organizations Juggling Multiple Users"

January 31, 2019

4.0

This has been a great tool and service for managing all of the credentials we use in our organization. We are able to seamlessly update and organize access to information across teams and vendors

Pros

We are a small organization (<25 employees), but we work with multiple clients on the same platforms. Ignoring security best practices, it was a bear to keep track of the credentials for each client along with keeping them updated on a regular basis. This services addresses all of these core needs and more. I'm particularly happy that users can be granted access to certain credentials and that access can also have different permissions applied to it, (e.g. a user can use a set of credentials, but not necessarily read them or change them). I further enjoy that this tool is cross-platform and all of the applications (should you want to install them) offer a similar look, feel and functionality.

Cons

It can be a little cumbersome to use the tool with some websites. Because the URL matching doesn't always match with what is saved in the credential record, users can sometimes run into trouble using the credentials they have access to. This is easily rectified with a bit of education/training, but the technology could be improved a little, here.

### "Crucial for any business that needs to share sensitive passwords"

October 8, 2018

5.0

Password management for our employees, once a member is added, it completely removes the question "Hey what was the password for X and Y?" from the workplace

Pros

The ability to share access to login information to websites/apps without allowing the team member to actually see the passwords. For example, we hired an in-house designer on a 3-month contract to work with us. They needed access to the 30+ websites to complete their work. To mitigate risk, you don't want the contract worker to have access to those sites after their contract is completed. Instead of resetting passwords after they leave, you can use Last Pass to do the following: - Admin has the contractor provide an email, where he sends out a request to join our Last Pass team. - Contractor accepts, and we grant him/her the ability to auto-fill login information. They are not able to view the password at any point (all they see are the black dots when logging in) - when the contract is us, you just remove that user from the team, and voila! They no longer have access to those passwords at all, removing the need to do any password changes.

Cons

The price is a bit steep, but its the best option on the market, so we just bite the bullet and pay for it.

### "Last pass the easy way to save and mange your password "

November 18, 2021

### "Throw out the sticky notes!"

May 25, 2021

5.0

It's a great platform where we can generate secure passwords, keeping notes, and password all in one place without having to do to 2 or 3 different sites. The platform gives the opportunity to organize in folders for easy search and filter functionality.

Pros

I like the straightforward platform to keep all your passwords and notes in one central location. Even when navigating to different sites that requires a login, if you have the browser extension installed and enabled, the app will remember your credentials and add to the vault if new and/or update for those existing.

Cons

The free version is no longer available on both mobile and desktop. We, the "Free" users, had to choose one over the other.

Reason for choosing LastPass

I researched and read several reviews. I have even recommended to my friends, family, and colleagues. Some products focused one or two features as the highlight of the product and usually those features does not meet my goal or expectations. LastPass has without having to subscribe to the premium version and adding an additional expense.

### "Can’t live… if living is without you…"

October 6, 2022

5.0

No way to live without a tool like this. I didn’t got to get rid by using Apple Keychain or Google.

Pros

Super easy to use, even you use only the App. It became the repository of every and each password. And with this tool, you always use strong passwords. It is a must.

Cons

Nothing to point here. Because it’s all ok!

### "best password helper"

May 12, 2022

5.0

It has made day to day much more fluid and simple when starting work sessions

Pros

It is very easy to install and use, it keeps your passwords safe and at hand, it allows you to have greater security since it generates complex keys and you do not have to memorize them since you have them backed up. I feel very safe managing very passwords in the app

Cons

It's hard to find something I don't like, maybe I don't fully trust the app as there may be synchronization problems and once you lose access to your account there is no way to recover it and you lose all your passwords, so it's always good have them backed up elsewhere

### "Great password management tool"

June 3, 2021

4.0

I'd recommend it highly if you have to use it on a single device, just use the free model and never worry about forgetting your username/passwords ever again.

Pros

It auto populates the username/password from it's vault and fills it for you when you visit that site. It also gives you an option to auto save the login info if you login to a new site.

Cons

They recently switched to a paid model. The free model now just allows you to use LastPass on a single device. This is a restriction for me because I used it both on my laptop and on my phone, and they were always in sync. Now I had to switch to an other tool on my second device and it has become a hassle to keep the two in sync.

### "Annoying to setup, seamless to use"

October 24, 2019

4.0

Overall I recommend, it solves a huge problem every company has. I just wish they had some better competition so we could resolve the annoying little issues...and maybe their UI/UX wouldn't be so horrible.

Pros

Overall I love LastPass. It has allowed me to modernize our entire team's approach to password management. Gone are the days of storing outdated passwords in an Excel sheet. I can now set more complex passwords for websites and only provide administrative access to a handful of people – removing the entire team's ability to change a password on a whim. They also offer a full suite of apps – desktop, browser, and mobile.

Cons

Setting it up is a huge pain. The import process was finicky, transitioning my account over from a single user to a team took a few days to complete, and reaching out to support was completely useless (they just sent me to a link that was unrelated to my issue). I transitioned accounts as part of a test phase to ensure LastPass would work for our office, which I would assume would be a fairly common procedure. Also, managing team members can be confusing. Overall, it works well but the UI/UX is just bad.

### "Reasonable Password Management Utility"

April 29, 2021

4.0

It was my first password manager and an entirely adequate tool, which filled a vital need as I began dealing with online data that required increased protections. Ultimately, however, I have found its competitors to better suit my needs and, therefore, have not gone back to reevaluate any developments in more than two years.

Pros

As with any password manager, LastPass offers a level of security that is well beyond what you would expect from the average computer user. Instead of passwords like love123 or 12345678, which tend to be reused against multiple websites, LastPass allows you to generate unique, robust passwords to increase your online security. This is an ABSOLUTE MUST for anyone dealing with privileged information, information that is subject to legal protections (e.g. HIPAA), or even personal finances.

Cons

Amongst its competitors, I found that LastPass offered fewer of the features that I have come to value in my password management software. Given comparable costs, I moved on from LastPass to Dashlane, and from Dashlane to OnePassword over the past couple of years.

### "Keeping Passwords Secure"

April 20, 2021

5.0

Overall I really enjoy the functionality and ease of use that LastPass provides. The password generator allows me to easily meet password requirements and keep my password secure without reusing password. I've installed in on my browser and mobile device to ensure I always have access to all of my information.

Pros

The feature I enjoy the most about LastPass is how it easily integrates to the browser. This makes is simple to utilize since it can auto-populate forms with the username/password combination that has been stored for the site. Also, the ability to utilize multiple users for a single form/web site is critical. I use multiple logins for various sites and like having the ability to easily swap between users. I'm also able to build secure notes and keep my information safe with a single strong password.

Cons

At this time, I have not found a feature I do not enjoy about LastPass. The software is very easy to get started with and use for all passwords. Having the mobile app also enables the user to easily keep their login details secure regardless of where they are located.

### "With LastPass you will never have to remember any passwords"

August 19, 2022

5.0

Lastpass is supported on multiple devices and browsers and it makes life so easy because you don't have to worry about remembering multiple passwords anymore.

Pros

The best part of Lastpass tool is the chrome extension that it has because it makes it very easy to login on any website without remembering the password. There is a single master password that you need to remember and rest all the passwords will be saved and encrypted on LastPass tool.

Cons

sometimes the extension on chrome doesn't load by itself. But most of the time it works flawlessly.

### "Last Pass: Removing Account Log In Hurdles"

March 21, 2022

5.0

LastPass is extremely helpful. The platform can store your personal passwords as well as shared company passwords. The sharing and synching capabilities makes it beneficial for company use. The website extension makes it easy to access on any website.

Pros

LastPass has eliminated a lot of back and forth on our team. Instead of each employee having to reach out to the person who's number is connected to an account whenever they need to gain access to an account, they can independently use the password sharing and authentication features of LastPass to log in.

Cons

The only downside to LastPass actually speaks to its strength. At times it can be difficult to enter the Last Pass vault if you've recently changed your password.

### "Decent password manager"

January 12, 2019

4.0

\- My online working is much more secure since using Lastpass and this security hasn't come at any additional effort - in fact, it's probably saved me time on the whole

Pros

\- Easily able to manage all my passwords and secure notes - Prompts me to save passwords - Generates secure passwords quickly with easy to change settings - e.g. include upper/lowercase, numbers or symbols, length - Has given me a secure place to keep additional documents like passport details, which has come in really handy when I don't have those documents to hand but need to know the details - I almost never need to use "forgot my password' because Lastpass remembers all my very secure passwords

Cons

\- Lastpass gets confused when I have multiple logins for the same site, which is very common in my line of work - There are still a few key passwords I should remember (e.g. in case I need to access my lastpass account on a new computer, I need to authorise an email but I mightn't remember my password!) and I'm not great at that because I barely use them

### "Keep Your Passwords Secure"

February 28, 2022

5.0

LastPass continues to be a great tool for storing passwords. The Chrome extension that allows for passwords to auto-populate is the winning piece for me. I haven't even looked for another tool because they continue to work for me and my data has been safe so far.

Pros

I love that LastPass keeps my passwords secure, but also that I can share passwords with clients and contractors without giving them the actual password. I can also revoke their access when the job or task is completed. This is by far my favorite feature and I recommend it to friends, colleagues, and clients. Also, I love that I have it on my desktop and mobile devices.

Cons

I honestly have no issues with LastPass. I used it for free for years and last year I upgraded to the paid feature. I trust them with my data.

### "Our Go-To Password Manager"

April 9, 2021

5.0

Our overall experience with LastPass has been excellent. Seamless integration with different browsers and ability to access our passwords from different devices quickly makes LastPass an invaluable tool in our daily work.

Pros

With LastPass, password management is intuitive and passwords are accessible in various ways, e.g. from different types of devices and from different browsers. Organizing passwords into categories is also simple on LastPass - this helps with retrieval of passwords.

Cons

I cannot think of any feature in LastPass that is missing or needs improvement at this stage. LastPass has met all our needs in a password management software.

### "The Only Password Vault You need"

September 10, 2018

5.0

I think a given is that LastPass is definitely helping myself and many others with secure passwords. Too often do people use the same password over and over (or using easily guessed passwords due to time reset requirements). LastPass solves all of these problems.

Pros

Probably one of the greatest aspects of LastPass is the functionality - it does everything a password manager should do! It autofills them, it generates them, and stores them. It does all of that in not only a secure way, but also in a minimally intrusive, aesthetically pleasing way.

Cons

LastPass has so many features, it's incredible! However, given that there are so many features, it can be somewhat difficult to learn how to navigate the whole UI of LastPass, especially when learning more than just how to generate and store passwords. However, this does not take away from the LastPass experience! Not only does it come with a tutorial, but there are also plenty of guides that can be found through proper searches on how to use even the most advanced features of LastPass!

### "LastPass a must for every family and business"

June 22, 2022

5.0

Now that I'm past the setup part, I love using LastPass and don't plan on ever walking away

Pros

Creates impossible-to-break shared passwords for your team/family without anyone having to keep a log of all the different passwords in use. Auto-fills in the password without saving to cookies for ultimate security.

Cons

If I want to shared a newly created password within my team/family I have to manually designate it each time. Ideally, this would be a setting I select one time that allows all past and future passwords to be shared.

### "Innovative Password Manager"

June 11, 2021

5.0

I like that LastPass integrates well with all sites and has a high level of security. It is easy to organize my folders, share them with others, and only memorizing one master password solves the problem for every account I have.

Pros

\- You don't have to remember passwords anymore. - LastPass is compatible with any device, browser, or platform. - Be more confident when you're online.

Cons

I have nothing to add. The free version, which I also use, is comprehensive and works perfectly for personal use and daily internet management--accessing my Facebook, Twitter feed, checking my email, paying bills.

### "No more "What was my password again?""

April 7, 2021

5.0

We needed a means by which all staff could login to systems securely but, at the same time, a means by which they could login quickly and conveniently. LastPass does that and at a very affordable price.

Pros

The concept that I need only remember one password ever again is a life saver. I can access my vault of secure passwords on any device and always feel assured that my accounts are safe. Whether I'm using my phone and filling my password simply by looking at my phone or I'm on my desktop and using a browser plugin to login with a single click, the convenience and ease of use is so refreshing compared to the old world where my passwords would either have been insecure but memorable or easily forgotten. I also love that with a click of a button I can reset all of my passwords if I suspect foul play.

Cons

LastPass doesn't always auto-fill and can quite easily get confused when I've changed my password. Likewise the Vault quickly spirals out of control and now I feel like some housekeeping is in order.

### "Secure, consistent, and minimalist"

September 23, 2021

3.0

Positive overall experience ensuring that risk is minimized, compliance is at its possible best, and human limitations are moved out of the equation to the max extent possible

Pros

1\. Removes the requirement of users to create, store and remember passwords, and instead, enforces secure automation so that the human error factor is all but eliminated 2. Single store for managing passwords, ensuring easy update, reference and renewal. 3. Seamless integration with variety of services and applications used by the firm - internal as well as third party 4. Easy administrative functionality to manage, onboard and remove users with minimal human intervention

Cons

1\. Could have more features 2. Auto password generation could follow a user defined consistent pattern to be at least somewhat remember-able 3. Some struggle with integrating it with a few newly created internal applications

### "Poorly designed and no QA"

September 7, 2022

1.0

Nightmarish. App constantly logs you out and expects you to remember yet another password with NO alternative means of verification that works reliably. Face ID turns off all the time. And SMS verification doesn’t send. No email reset. SO POORLY DESIGNED. STAY AWAY

Pros

Easy to enroll team members. The Face ID worked well at first (until it didn’t)

Cons

No customer support. They hide behind a chat bot that only allows you to ask questions about buying more seats. App constantly turns off Face ID and signs you out, the SMS verification option doesn’t work so you’re often left stranded with no one to reach out to. This was one of the worst pieces of software we ever bought.
