Cons Only cons of this software is the mobile app. It's great most of the time but can sometimes be slow and crash. Pros I really enjoy the fact that with last pass i know that my passwords are SAFELY protected, but keeps me from having to actively remember my password to everything all the time Cons Sometimes the Crome browser add on can be a little glitchy, or wont recognize my password. Pros There are an increasing number of integrations that have come out recently. LastPass is more web based (does not store passwords locally), which makes it more secure. I also like that it is available for use on all major operating systems. Cons If you want to tweak certain features it can be rather confusing and tedious sometimes to really get it working exactly how you imagine it should. I was a skeptic. When I started working at my current job, I was introduced to Last Pass, and now I use it for everything. My passwords are now unique and super secure. I can access them and edit them with relative ease. Logging in to sites that I often use is a breeze now with Auto-complete logins. Last Pass takes away all the pain of signups/logins and remembering which username/email/password you used to sign up. All you need to remember is what email you used to sign up to LastPass and your master password (which LastPass doesn't even know). Also, the LastPass mobile app is very useful if you need to login while you are on the go. Pros Everything about LastPass makes my life easier. The secure password generator, auto-complete logins, security tests, mobile app lets me access my passwords on my mobile device. It auto-generates and stores passwords that I don't even remember setting up, saving me tonnes of time not trying to sign up for a site that I've already registered on. I Love it so much I bought a 3 year subscription for my dad so that he would stop using the one same terrible password for everything. Cons The UI could be a lot better. Owner Accounting Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Most affordable password manager" November 10, 2016 5.0 I chose LastPass for password management because it has all the integration features I need at a VERY reasonable price. At $1/month, it blows the competition away in terms of price. I've found the browser integrations, Mac OS app and iPhone app to all work very well. I use their authentication app as well. It allows me to authenticate some sites by simply approving a request on my phone rather than having to type in the 6 digit code. I recently got an account for my wife so I can share some passwords with her for sites we both need to use. Sharing was extremely simple. I will say that it can take a little getting used to at first. The user interface might not be as clean as some of its competitors, but for the price, it doesn't bother me. Sometimes pop-up blockers can interfere with functionality, so you'll want to make sure to follow their setup instructions to get things working smoothly. Pros My colleagues and I use LastPass more than any other tool throughout our work day. It makes it easy to share and edit passwords between departments. In addition to passwords, we also use the secure note feature A LOT. We share a significant amount of private information so the secure notes make it easy to save a lot of information at once. We tell all of our clients about LastPass so that they can share their login credentials with us in a secure format. We love LastPass! Cons When someone shares a password with me, it's not always instantaneous when I can use the password for Autofill. I wish it was immediately available for Autofill so I don't have to wait. Pros My company began providing LastPass to everyone several months ago; it's helped me keep track of the inordinate number of digital passwords I have for both work and personal use. I take comfort in knowing that all of my passwords are encrypted and safely stored in one easy-to-access place. The software also flags weak passwords, which has helped me come up with stronger ones. Cons I am afraid of a hacker possibly getting into LastPass accounts (like the big Equifax security breach). And this is a great tool to do that. You only have to remember your one password to get into the account, and then you have all your passwords saved on the inside. You can even link to those websites and log in directly from LastPass. But I honestly rarely use it. Google Chrome saves all my passwords and if I forget, I have an Excel spreadsheet that has all the info I need. Plus I've had issues where I've logged into LastPass and the passwords are wrong for some reason? Like they update to be the same password I used to get into LastPass, instead of the right password. The same thing happens if I try to change the password. It's just a lot of hassle when there are other free options available. Pros It does supply you with a secure location to store all of your passwords. Cons With other resources like Excel or Chrome, I just don't use it very often. Review Source Amanda M. With one password to get into LastPass, all of my other passwords are saved, generated to each specific requirement and updated automatically. I also like that I can save my challenge answers in a separate field. The auto-fill option is a time saver as well. Pros What I enjoy most about LastPass is that I only have to remember ONE password.
