Pros

A lot of companies have started using LastPass as of late to share passwords across multiple team members but I found their software to be a pain to use overall. UX is poor and it was hard to manage multiple accounts as a consultant working across multiple teams.

Cons

Works better in theory rather than reality and the constant popups asking if I wanted them to save a password were super annoying.

Easy to set-up, easy to navigate, overall, incredibly easy to use. Very user friendly, improves efficiency.

Cons

After having used this for at least a year I still haven't been able to find a "con" about it. Don't know what I'd do without it.

Overall, pleased with the functionalities and the ability to store and share passwords for the entire workplace. Have not used the password generator but is a good feature as well.

Pros

We use LastPass at our organisation to store and share credentials. As an agency, one can imagine the number of login credentials we have to use on a daily basis - LastPass makes light of this work. I use the Chrome browser extension.

Cons

Folder management can be a bit tricky - one has to store a credential first - then move it to a folder which can be a bit cumbersome.

Cons

None whatsoever. Free version is quite limited comparing to paid which is understandable.

Cons

You have to download it on all of your devices if you dont want to remember any passwords. You have to remember your LastPass password.

It's perfect for storing and managing passwords. No major issues and peace of mind on my privacy.

Pros

Store all of your passwords in a highly secure encrypted manager. Perfect for businesses that store very sensitive data and need to share that data with specific people or revoke that access asap.

Cons

Sometimes editing information on passwords that have already been saved can be a hassle. There is one in particular that I would like to add a note to but it errors out everytime I try to save it.

Our company is able to easily share files and credentials securely. This is a huge win since we are in the edtech realm and deal with student data. Emails are not secure and make it easy to lose track of credentials

Pros

Cons

It wasn't (until recently) super compatible with browsers and shortcuts. They have recently changed that and I have no complaints about lastpass

It's a good product and I wouldn't shun it, but there are better options, e.g. Bitwarden which is open source, offers low-price paid hosting and team sharing.

Pros

In regards to generating secure passwords, storing them safely, organizing and sharing within a team, LastPass checks all of the boxes and does what it's suppose to do.

Cons

It's clunky. The web browser extensions are slow, and sharing notes and credentials often require the recipient to log out and back in.

Pros

Where do I begin? Lastpass allows you to securely store your passwords or secure notes in a "vault." All you need is a single sign on to have access to all of your accounts. Lastpass will fill those out for you automatically. It will also assess the strength of the passwords in your vault and recommend changes.

Cons

The Lastpass Google Chrome extension that I rely on to fill in my passwords is sometimes less than reliable. It crashes often or just plain doesn't work.

LastPass is a true dream come true - I have a lot of demo portals and logins that LastPass makes it extremely easy to access without running into the issue of forgetting passwords.

I can't really think of anything bad about LastPass..

Good at what it does. Storage and retrieval of credentials.

Pros

Group and share passwords by category and permissions. History allows for retention of changes to passwords. lpass command line interface useful for passing secrets via automation to tooling such as ansible.

Cons

Some details are not conducive to storing in a password field, and need to be entered into a multiline notes field. Occasional security breaches require rotating passwords.

LastPass has been a great tool for my organization, particularly for our DevOPS teams. The product seems to get better with each version.

Pros

We use LastPass to store passwords to servers and VPNs. There are simply too many logins to memorize, and the LastPass tool makes storing them secure and convenient. The browser extension works well in most case. The mobile version is used for convenience when DevOps is not using their own workstation.

Cons

The browser extension for Safari on Mac can be flakey. It is not obvious that it has stopped running and I often need to restart my browser to get it working again.

it has helped me to better manage my passwords without having the problem of losing them, i like tool.

Pros

It is good tool to manage my passwords, in addition to having the security to be able to use it by ip location, and if it is not the same Ip it will send you mail to verify that it is really me. Very beautiful interfaces compared to others.

Cons

The session remains open indefinitely in the desktop web browser.

I use it everyday. I firmly believe it helps me maintain a higher level of security for my personal information.

Pros

Lastpass is great for managing all of the passwords that a user or an admin must maintain. It is available for most browsers and platforms. LastPass will find and import your existing saved passwords and capture them as you update or create accounts. LastPass works well on a PC but could be better on Android.

Cons

While it works on my mobile, the experience can be a bit clunky on Android. Sometimes I have to manually copy and paste a password into a browser session on my mobile.

As a small company we share a login for various sites, and had the issue of passwords being repeatedly changed because someone forgot or couldn't get an answer quick enough. LastPass solved that issue, without costing a fortune.

Pros

Easy to share and keep track of all passwords in one straightforward location.

Cons

User Interface is a bit clunky, some bugs with auto fill, and takes a long time to sync with other shared accounts quite often.

I am trying to organize my personal and business financials in one place, because they are mostly integrated. I'm happy to use LastPass to help me keep my data safe and make it easier to manage passwords.

Pros

I have long been using Google Chrome to generate and store passwords for websites, but couldn't do the same within the many apps I use. I rely on this software for this, rather than using Samsung's built in feature. I find it easier to use.

Cons

I don't really have any negative comments about LastPass.

LastPass was a great service. Then they got purchased by LogMeIn and that ended that. First, LogMeIn DOUBLED the price. Then they started pushing out extension updates that either make using the service more difficult or are buggy. I've moved on to any of a number of other password vault services. LastPass has basically turned into a clipboard intermediary between secure passwords.

Pros

There used to be nothing but pros about using this software. Now there are few.

Cons

Website autofill: Websites that LastPass would autofill no longer does so.

Utilizzo Lastpass da tantissimo tempo, per un periodo l'ho promosso presso i miei colleghi e con questo ho ricevuto dei bonus dall'azienda, poi l'ho acquistato ed ora a distanza di molti anni lo utilizzo ogni momento, sia sul cellulare che sul pc.

Cons

Mi piace ogni aspetto di questo software, non ne ho trovati altri con queste funzionalità, devo dire ottimo.

Pros

I love that I can automatically fill in my passwords on my computer so conveniently. Sharing passwords with my organization has never been easier either. I know that when I hire a freelancer who needs access to a program just one time, they can get in without sharing sensitive information. I also love that the free version is plenty enough for what I need the software for.

Cons

There is a little learning curve when you first use LastPass, but now it's simple, secure, and one of my favorite tools.

Not very good. I use it because my company uses it, but I would change that in a heartbeat if I could.

Pros

It has lots of features for sure. That is the one thing that it has going for it. The rest of it is garbage.

Cons

So many where to start... The user interface is super clunky. It has lots of bugs throughout... The content is written by non-english speakers so there are a lot of grammar and spelling errors... The ui is super ugly... The form field icons are ugly and get in the way...

I have been the last pass user for years, and it was my choice when it came up to have one for our practice. With our physicians being so busy they can barely remember their logins, so this has been making it easier when they only need one to remember now.

Pros

\- Able to control groups and individual accounts as needed - Admin controls are solid, no real issues and most of what I need can be done on the spot - Ability to export and import a custom list for specific departments - Password creation is my go-to now, I love using the tool to create a secure password - Secure notes have been something a few users are starting to get into

Cons

\- Most users complain that it does not always recognize the website, but that has happened on some external sites with multiple pop-ups for logins, etc

I sign into 6 web portals every morning at work, all with different user names and passwords. This is certainly a time saver, it's secure, and I don't have to worry about documenting my login information on a post-it, which is definitely not a secure way to manage sensitive passwords.

Pros

Besides being easy to setup / use, I now only have to manage 1 login for about 12 sign-ons that I use DAILY at work. It saves time, it's secure and very easy to manage / update passwords within LastPass should they change. I use this for business and personal.

Cons

My only con would be that I have 1 website that I do NOT wish to add to LastPass, but when I sign in to that website, I get asked if I want to add it to LastPass, and cannot figure out how to set it to NOT ask each time I visit that website. Maybe it's there, but I can't find it.

We love it here at our office. It also helps us be able to share passwords with each other for vendors.

Pros

I love that this application helps me save so much time. I can quickly sign into any site that I have saved by clicking one box. Only having to remember one password, which is really helpful when sites require you to have a combination of letters, numbers and symbols that are difficult to recall.

Cons

One draw back, if you can call it a drawback, is you have to actually download the last pass between different computers or devices you are using. Occasionally I will pull out my phone but have to open my computer to check a password.
