### "LastPass Enterprise is required for many of my network because it really works"

September 17, 2018

4.0

Excellent, it keeps my passwords safe and organized, and allows me to work with people without giving them the password "keys to the kingdom", so I retain control but can still work with people where ever they live. For a larger company to a small business with outsourcers, this is a must have tool.

Pros

Last Pass solves the password problem with security that is hard to match in my experience. Virtually every experienced business I work with uses this, because security issues in the past few years have made the old ways of keeping passwords - within your browser - a bit more dangerous than before. By using LastPass i can give access to my virtual and remote employees to any of a number of tools and they never get the password, and I can revoke access. Instead of fumbling around for a way to keep passwords, we back this up and in case of emergency, have an extra layer of security and know our passwords are safe.

Cons

The Chrome extension is what I like least, since I use Chrome alot and it crashes frequently. LastPass takes more and more memory, which isn't a negative (and more a sign I'll need to upgrade my computer once again), so the browser crashing is here and there, not an always on problem. Sometimes when I have multiple users share their logins to the same tool, like Mailchimp, LastPass will get in a bit of a battle of which password and user wins, but that's more a specific agency problem than one the average user would face.

### "LastPass solves the huge problem of having so many different accounts and does it well"

July 17, 2022

5.0

LastPass has definitely changed my workflow, it has made it much more secure with unique passwords and not a list of a few that I would use for multiple accounts.

Pros

It is easy to implement across different devices and it works. I am using it on a Macbook, iPad, Android phone and Windows computer. I love the ease of logging in and not having to remember all my passwords. I just need to know the master password for LastPass and then I have the key to everything. I love creating new accounts and LastPass actually detecting that I am setting up a new account, and it prompts me to automatically add the details to LastPass.

Cons

Sometimes it is a little bit slow to react on my Android phone, but I would say that this is more to do with the phone I have, as it is using an older version of Android. I am confident that with a newer phone and updated software that LastPass would be much more responsive on my phone (in reality it is not bad at all).

### "Huge security breach: my data was compromised, I lost my Bitcoin wallet"

December 28, 2022

1.0

Overall, my experience with LastPass was extremely negative and frustrating. I had to spend a lot of time and effort changing all my passwords and securing my accounts again. I also started receiving phishing attempts, which was a clear indication that my personal information had been compromised.

Pros

I cannot honestly say that I liked anything about this software. The fact that it had a security breach and compromised my data was the worst experience I have had with a password management tool.

Cons

The thing I liked least about this software was its inability to protect my personal and financial information. The security breach not only affected my passwords, but also my Bitcoin wallet, which caused me a significant loss.

### "LastPass opinion"

May 21, 2023

5.0

I just wanted a tool for password management and LastPass go beyond offering other security features as well.

Pros

It's easy to use and very intuitive, you are required to introduce your credentials once and LastPass will manage those credential automatically.

Cons

The pop up for saving any new credentials can be annoying sometimes, specially when you are not interested in saving those specific credentials.

### "Good but with keeps logging out"

January 5, 2022

4.0

Cybersecurity has become a very important thing to care about, having a password manager like lastpass helps a lot to avoid vulnerabilities due to the use of weak passwords or shared passwords between multiple accounts. If you are considering do no think twice and choose one it could be LastPass or any other but Lastpass has the LogMeIn backup history of security too

Pros

It is great to generate and change passwords, also storing passwords in one place with access from different devices, its browser extensions make the job very easy! It has a great monitoring too to let you know when to change a password.

Cons

I have a very strong master password, for obvious reasons, I do not store that password online, well the app on the phone, the browser extension in just every computer keeps logging out everytime! Everytime I needed even if you select not to log out it keeps doing it and it is very frustrating

### "Why didn't I start using LastPass earlier?"

February 17, 2022

5.0

I love, love, love it. I just wished I had started using it earlier.

Pros

What I like (actually love) about the software is that it's easy to set up and easy to use. I would say another great feature is being able to in a few clicks see what your created passwords are in case you forget them.

Cons

I would say the only disadvantage is if you forget the password to log into LastPass. Nevertheless, they do make creating a new password easy. Some other software I have email you the password your created. I wish LastPass would do that, but because of the security reasons on their end I do understand.

### "All your passwords secured and easy to access"

August 27, 2021

5.0

In general, Lastpass it's a GREAT app, has it all, secure storage of my sensitive data, password generation, easy to fill out the info in every app or site I use on a daily basis, can access my password from anywhere, and, best of all, I only need to remember 1 Master Password.

Pros

I really like how easy is to access all my passwords with just a few clicks, no need to remember them, and can set up a different one for each site or app I use every day, also, I don't waste any time creating a new one using the "generate secure password" option, allowing me to comply with any password requirement, and, with the Premium Plan, now I have unlimited access from any computer or mobile device, saving me a lot of time and headaches.

Cons

There have been concerns regarding how secure the app and the site are, but, after all the time I have spent using Lastpass I have no doubts all my information is in a secure place, however, the only thing I was not happy with was to choose from which device I would need to continue using the service, desktop or mobiles, unless I upgraded to Premium, was thinking about doing it anyway, but, didn{t like to be forced to do it.

### "I wish it was better, but it does what's needed"

October 21, 2020

4.0

LastPass has definitely helped our overall security posture, but it has so many design flaws that it is frustrating. I can't say I love the product, and it's pace of development is terrible, but it does do what we need it to - mostly. I wish they improved the administration panel and removed the poor design choices of having separate management areas.

Pros

We have a large distributed team and needed a product to improve security and allow for shared logins. LastPass does fill this need, and for the users that fully engage with the product it's invaluable. It's browser-based plugin its fairly simple to use and it doesn't require an installed application like 1Password does.

Cons

The product design is dated and different parts of the admin console are separated in a seemingly non-sensical way. Want to manage users? Go to the Admin Console. Want to manage Shared Folders? Oh, that's under your personal dashboard. We've had the product for over 2 years and while I imagine they have a substantial development team, product updates are slow or non-existent. I fear that since Logmein bought the company it has become a large bureaucracy and it shows in the product. Lastly, getting user adoption is difficult, and not much has changed on that front.

### "My team and I LOVE Last Pass! It's easy to use, helps secure your login credentials and so much more"

October 3, 2017

5.0

It's very secure for supporting all of my passwords. I don't have to worry about remembering a bunch of different passwords, lastpass autogenerates secure passwords for me and remembers them for me. And allows me to access it from any device if I need to. It allows me to share passwords with my team for products that charge extra for additional users when we don't necessarily need additional users. It's fast and works really well all around. Not all software does that but it gives me confidence that I can trust it with my passwords. It also allows you to auto-fill forms for saving time filling out repetitive address, email, phone #, cc info etc.

Pros

First off, with so many things to log in to it's impossible to follow good password procedure, which is important, especially with all of the hacks that go on. If a hacker gets one of your passwords, they know they can access a lot of your websites. Lastpass removes the pain of creating a secure password and having to remember it. You only have to create 1 secure lastpass password and you're golden. One of the biggest pains it solves for my team is allowing us to share passwords/logins for software that charges extra if you need multiple users. As a small startup that can't afford to pay for each user for every software we use, this is huge for us. It also makes onboarding new team members easier. We give them access to the services they need and can see what each service does in the notes section of the lastpass app. It also helps when my business partner signs up for a new software, I can know what it's for and viceversa. I also feel more secure having my passwords on lastpass than on Chrome's password manager.

Cons

I think the design and user experience could be laid out a bit better, but it's good enough. The way they have it set up can make all of your passwords etc. feel overwhelming at times. Also, there's the obvious downside that if you forget your password you could end up locked out of all of your accounts... So make sure you remember your password.

### "Solid cloud based, collaborator friendly password vault"

July 11, 2018

4.0

Saves me time and gives me the feeling my passwords are strong and securedly stored.

Pros

I've been using LastPass since 2010 I believe, both for business and personal use. There's a lot of positives, like the organizing features, password strength checks, random password generation, automatic password changing (when supported by the website), a plethora of 2FA options and of course, excellent browser integration. I'm also using LastPass together with some colleagues, both in IT and outside of that, in other departments. I have linked my personal, free LastPass account to my business one, so I don't have to switch accounts, with the logging out and in hassle. LastPass also offers mobile apps, secure notes and form fill templates. It's all pretty nifty. As a business user, support is fast and quite good.

Cons

The mobile Android app can be a bit buggy. Even the Chrome addon sometimes has issues, for example with registering the correct username or e-mail address entered while registering somewhere, or small bugs, mostly UI related. It's not 100% solid, but, say, 90%. User-friendlyness can also be improved for less tech savvy users. Many colleagues of me find LastPass difficult. It's not entirely due to LastPass actually being difficult or not user friendly, but I think they can do just a little more in the UI department to make things easier to grasp.

### "LastPass great for work and home"

March 2, 2022

5.0

We have multiple agencies with Multiple Outlook inboxes. With LastPass we are able to create shared folders with all the passwords and then delegate who has access to the shared folder. It also helps with billing and sites with shared access. We can create secure passwords and share they with everyone who needs them. The Chrome browser extension makes it super easy to store new password and autofill them when you need them. I also used it in my personal life. I have elderly parents that used one password for multiple sites and had an issue with a bad actor that learned that password. I was able to create random generated passwords to secure their accounts and give myself access to the passwords in case they ever had issues.

Pros

I like the fact that you can combine your personal and work accounts under one login and can organize folders to store password.

Cons

Setting up MFA is easy, but if you switch phones an admin has to reset your MFA so you can register your new phone. Should be something the user can do themselves.

### "Lastpass failings after breach"

March 6, 2024

1.0

Lastpass suffered a breach, and they were not transparent about what had happened, providing very little information for months. They also neglected to increase the iterations of the Password-Based Key Derivation Function on older accounts, making them far more susceptible to having those passwords eventually brute forced. Although they have remedied this post-breach, we are not comfortable using them moving forward. If you're new to lastpass, you're likely secure at this point, but they dropped the ball with long time users.

Pros

We used this product for years and found it extremely easy to use, but had to leave after their lack of transparency surrounding a breach. It is a good password manager and easy to use, but we are no longer comfortable using this service.

Cons

Lack of transparency after they experienced a breach.

### "Small bugs can be irritating but GREAT software and value for the money"

September 29, 2019

4.0

I love the software and highly recommend it for every team. It promotes strong passwords and consolidates all credential information into a safe place. In addition, it makes entering credentials easier with autofill. The price is right, it works on a variety of platforms (including linux), and it works.

Pros

This is great for consolidating all of your accounts and passwords into one place. And, with it all in one place, it's easier to have randomly generated passwords becase LastPass will automatically sign you in to sites. The free version does everything you need. The Pro version is really just to support the company which is why I pay for it. The value is great, it works on multiple platforms, and it's easy to use. I highly recommend it.

Cons

There are small bugs such as LastPass not offering to remember an updated password sometimes. This can be annoying as it would force you to either hedge against that happening by copying the new PASSWORD into a text file somewhere or change the password again If you trusted the software to detect the change. It may be something that the specific sites are doing but it's annoying none the less. Other bugs include having to refresh the site to get autofill to work or the button to show up or having URL differences force the app to not recognize that you already have a login for this site. These bugs don't happen too often but when they do, they are annoying.

### "Go to secure solution for credential management!"

June 30, 2022

5.0

Last pass is the only solution that I know of today that fits both easily in the personal and business credential management space. One time timed passwords, secure encryption, and simple to use interfaces are what makes me a user year after year. Great product, and well known as the industry standard.

Pros

I'm annoyed at having to change passwords all the time and keeping up with remembering everything. Last pass organizes, secures, and can even recommend and then store passwords. This helps if you want a solution to manage things for you, which I do!

Cons

I've used Last Pass for many years and really have nothing bad to say about the platform and application.

### "LastPass -a Secure Password Manager for Team Collaboration"

September 23, 2020

4.0

Very positive as we need an easy to access, but secure, way to share passwords & credentials among work teams and clients. Our 50+ employee agency has used LastPass for 2+ years and we have never wavered on it's value.

Pros

We have a team of 50+ at our agency and LastPass is our go-to password/credential manager. It's super simple to set up, share access and manage passwords across teams and even clients. And LastPass takes security very very seriously with 2FA and authentication a key priority. We have to be ultra-sensitive to security as an agency as we handle so many credentials for client's websites, FTP and marketing tools.

Cons

The UI is good but not great. I find myself wanting to create a folder but the iconography is a bit confusing so I'll create a record. Easy to go back and do it right but I find myself making the same mistakes. The folder hierarchy could also be a bit better organized but it's not too bad. They are improving and updating all the time.

### "Not completely satisfied"

December 7, 2021

4.0

I've been using Last Pass for 3 or 4 years. During the first years it was completely free for personal use, then it became free only for one device and premium for two or more. I enjoyed the app nut it has some little bugs and so, after I payed one year of subscription, I have become more demanding: I expected more improvement but there haven't been any so I quit.

Pros

Auto-saving feature was the best and most important for me: the easiest way to save every login on every site.

Cons

I didn't like the little kind of button on the forms: often it was overlying on the arrow to open the drop down menu, making impossibile to use correctly the form. Also I would like to have the possibility to obscure some logins for a website (for example I don't want my mother's logins appear, 'cause I don't need them everyday!) but this is not possible. Another point of demerit it's that it does not working well on the smartphone's app: most of the time I had to open LastPass app and copy/paste first the user then the login. Annoying.

Reason for choosing LastPass

It was completely free for personal use

### "Keeping things secure "

January 20, 2022

4.0

This has really kept me sane on all of my passwords and the ease of updating them as necessary. My employe requires it and I use it personally as well and really like feeling as if my passwords are more secure then just a list on an excel spreadsheet.

Pros

I rely on LastPass for all of my passwords. I truly would be lost without it. I have it loaded into my Chrome browser as well as an APP on my iPhone.

Cons

If you forget your Master Password it's bit of an act of congress to get it reset, which I understand but at times, when for no apparent reasons my password would not longer work, it was frustrating to fix.

### "One of the Top Password Managers for Your Money"

August 4, 2019

4.0

The experience was great, minus the little hiccups in the software (duplicated secure notes, some duplicated passwords, etc).

Pros

Before suggesting the enterprise version to my agency, I used LP as my main password vault. It was free and very simple to use. I decided to subscribe to the paid version, and I had some of the best customer service, but some of the premium features fell below my expectations (more below).

Cons

The free version is hands down the best value of all password managers. I understand that it's more of a marketing tool to get users to suggest it to their workplace and that's where they overall make their money. The only complaint that I had is when I decided to pay for the premium service (I like to support businesses that make products that make my life easier). During this time, the app kept duplicating some secure notes that I made. I felt comfortable with the safety, but this was rather odd for the type of product it is. Lastly, they refunded me for my premium service (I decided to go with 1password for my personal password stash). My agency continues to use the enterprise version, and I have no problem with using that as well.

Reason for choosing LastPass

Affordability and customer support

### "The Last Password you will need to remember"

November 10, 2019

5.0

I use LastPass to avoid remembering hundreds of passwords and also to dare to use new and secure passwords that otherwise I would never remember. Overall a great tool to improve our security and performance online.

Pros

LastPass has saved me hours on recovering lost passwords, remembering them and also has improved the safety of my credentials. I have to deal constantly with hundreds of different passwords, when I develop a piece of software I will be dealing with at least five sets of passwords: server, admin panel or CMS, FTP or similar, assets delivery and .git repository. To remember those and to manage them has been a big pain through the years. Enter LastPass. It's amazing that the browser extension will detect once you logged in on a site and will offer you to save the credentials for later, also your client can share with you their credentials but keep them secret to you! You just need to launch the site and the credentials will be set there without you ever reading them. LastPass is a great collaborative tool.

Cons

In the beginning, it feels a bit creepy to keep all your passwords in one place that syncs with the cloud, a lot of "what ifs" come to my mind. Recently they had a security breach as well. It might feel unsafe at the beginning but then you realize that it's way worse to save your credentials in plain text or to suffer by trying to remember them. Sometimes I found bugs on the Chrome extension when trying to accept shared credentials, for some reason the button wasn't working.

### "My LastPass Password Keeper"

July 13, 2021

5.0

Overall, between Logmeonce, nordpass, 1password, Password boss, and many more different programs you can use to protect your online credentials, i woul dhave to say LAstPass is in the top 5% range. It is very affordable, easily managed, easily accessible, and can be used on every device as one account.

Pros

I have had multiple different password keeper accounts in the past, none that amount to the complexity of LastPass. It can be downloaded onto your phone & onto your laptop so that when you switch from one to the other, it has all the passwords remembered right there for you. No more typing in your username and password every single day on every single account you want to access, it is all automated and done for you@!

Cons

I dont think there was anything i didnt like about it. I still use it to this day and i dont plan on veering away. There is even a free account that still allows you to connect all of your accounts, without any limitation.
