COO Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Secure your passwords" June 12, 2017 4.0 Pros The plug-in for browsers is really useful. The business version that allows for global management is great. The auto-log-in feature makes using passwords very easy. I also love the generate password feature. Overall a really solid password vault for individuals or large teams. Cons Security configurations are sometimes slow to sync with the browser plugin. The latest browser plug-in no longer lets you search by typing in the input box in a browser. Pros Saved passwords and personal information. Cons Quirky software. Required a lot of rebooting and the passwords never appeared at logins despite being entered several times. Works well for most devices and have not received much push back from users Cons If for whatever reason LastPass isnt working, or lets say you get a new laptop, it is hard to login to anything because users no longer have a password to fall back on. It is the perfect app to save all your passwords in one place. Now you need to remember only one - the password from the LastPass account. Cons When I save new password The Lastpass save the password with the link to the authorization page so I need to delete this part of the link manually. It is not very conveniently for me. They provided an easy to understand description on how to sync passwords from browsers. Cons I expected more from this product. I experienced a number of difficulties with other products/pages recognizing my saved passwords through LastPass, which became problematic when it had asked me to delete all of my passwords from other platforms and allow it to securely hold them. I also, for some reason, expected it to help generate secure passwords, which is did not. It also failed to save a number of new passwords or recognize them. Review Source AT Alex T. October 3, 2017 5.0 With hundreds of passwords to keep track of this software has completely trivialized the process. It has saved time, money, and prevented headaches. Pros I love how simply this software is to use and setup. It only took a couple of minutes and it started making life easier right after. We can now have more complex, unique passwords without having to remember them. This keeps our credentials more secure and being able to share those credentials as easily as we do is convenient. Cons The software appears to have slight glitches once in a while that sometimes requires a reload of the software to get it back to working order. March 23, 2021 5.0 Pros I was a really big fan of Lastpass a year or two ago its so easy to use and everything can be organised in folders and you can even store secure notes and bank details. Cons I'm using it much less now, it's just with browsers becoming more feature rich I don't really find myself needing it too much other than for keeping track of older login data. I really appreciate the password generator and now use 16 digit randomized passwords because of it. If used with 2FA this is a very strong way to store passwords and information. That was the case in our Company with for example PPC Ads accounts, shared email account and dropbox. Pros The ability to store sensitive information in one secure place. Easy to share with others. Cons I occasionally had trouble to authenticate via sms text message.
