Pros: Easy of use and minimal training. I have used this system for years and enjoy having a cloud based system

Cons: Wait for updates until they are fully functional. Work on consistent support especially on weekends when needed most. A multi course dashboard should be available.

Pros: The support and comprehensiveness . All calls are answered with the same day if the issue can not be addressed immediately

Cons: Learning curve can be lengthy due to the comprehensiveness. The clubs internet serve is limited due to its remote location which has been a performance issue when saving a change in the software

Pros: Very easy to navigate, easy to learn and free of unnecessary complication.
Installation or lack there of was very nice.

Cons: On the back end, some of the green fee rates and golf course specifics are a bit confusing.
Understanding the back end takes some time and the support team doesn't have the information when they aren't on sight.

Overall: Ease of use...

Pros: User friendly, easy to use. The support is always there to help whenever needed. Super friendly staff, they get back to you as soon as they can with the right answers. I have never had an issue getting ahold of them or them finding a solution to a problem that I may have.

Cons: Sometimes slow, but it could be our internet at times. Tee sheet may freeze from time to time as it tries to load into the booking part.

Support some times takes a day or 3.. but they always come through. Like the new interface.

Pros: It is easy and mostly error free. The WYSIWYG editor is pretty nice and easy for almost anyone to use.

Cons: There were some limitations on the earlier marketing platform, those have since been updated and improved.

Overall: If you don't have experience in design, these templates make it easy to customize and send out to the customer base.

Pros: They have a all around great product. I have personally never had a problem with any of their software.

Cons: The online booking could improve. Other than that there is no issues with this software. I have used it for 7 years.

Pros: Ease of use. We will be using it for first time for 4 of our 5 courses this Friday and I am excited that the system is easy to use and navigate. There are a lot of customizable features which we need.

Cons: There are things we need in the software that isn't there. With that being said, the team at foreUp has been working with us to get those features implemented.

Pros: Easy to use. Staff has been very helpful in training. The software is easy to navigate. Lots of neat functions built in

Cons: Would like to see more permissions levels for staff. For example more levels for the settings feature so staff cannot accidentally delete anything in error.

Pros: Easy to learn and to train staff members how to use.

The cloud-based model provides me with 24/7 access to critical operational data, no matter where I am or what task I'm involved with.

Customer Service is great. We had staff from foreUP come to North Carolina and meet with us and to see how everything was running. Answered all of our questions and fixed some frustrations that we had on site!

The software is fast, efficient and easy to use.

Cons: At first there was a few...Just let them know your frustrations and they will fix it ASAP! I would like to see better marketing layouts but they're working on it.

Really easy software to use from the golf course perspective.

Pros: The ability to actually talk to the software technicians about new ideas and they listen to make our jobs easier as the golf course shop workers to get our golfers checked in faster. The ease of not having to hit extra non sense buttons while making tee times, checking in golfers, or adding in customers makes the time much more useful for my staff to interactive with our golfing guests.

Pros: It's easy to use. The screen size was amazing. The scanner also makes it way easy to use. I've used several things of software through out the years but this was the easiest to pick up. I'm retired and work part time here, the software has never been an issue for me.

ForeUp is very user friendly and Support team is extremely helpful.

Pros: Its ease of use and the reporting is detailed to meet our needs. I like how I can sort members based on various groups

Cons: We do not like how the tee sheet check in process is set up. We would like it to check in those people who are members and bypass the sales screen since their rounds of golf are included in their membership dues. Also I would like the sales tax to be split between the 2 taxing entities for our state.

Each sale takes too long to ring in. Too many steps.

Pros: I like the way you can tab/save sales and inventory. Training was good and support is always helpful.

Cons: I would like to see the retail side and the restaurant side more similar. Staff has to learn two different programs if they work both sides and it can be confusing in the beginning.

Overall: Support system is really good.

Pros: When I call any person can help with my issues. I normally do not have to speak to several people and get called back.

Cons: Not being able to do what I need on the new screens. Having to go back to old ones. Just hard to lean the new screens if we can't fully use them

Pros: Ease of use on tee sheet for modification in blocking setting tee times. Very easy compared to using other platforms.

Cons: Ability to make changes with invoices once invoice has been started. Marketing when sending emails could be easier should have spell check incorporated along with emails being formatted for computer or when opened on a cell phone. Cell phones aren't centered correctly.

Overall: Ease of use for both golf operations and F&b operations. They continue to update product and hope they take recommendations for review.

Pros: The fact that this software is web-based and easily accessible makes my job so much easier, no matter where I am at. Any aspect of the software is available from all of my devices so I can manage the business and look at reporting at any time.

Cons: The online connectivity and system updates can sometimes interrupt daily usage of the software but this has been a very infrequent issue that is typically resolved in a very efficient manner.

Overall: Customer reporting, online marketing, drag and drop accessibility and many more.

Fore UP has been great to work with, especially in the early stages of getting us going!

Pros: It's ease of use. It handles everything that we need here at the golf course and it's easy to get around.

Cons: Some of the marketting ques are a little bothersome but once you've learned it, it becomes less and less a hassell.

Overall: It helps me on a daily level, and it helps keep my course running smoothly.

We've been with ForeUp for a few season now. The product continues to improve every time we use it.

Pros: The software is easy to use and doesn't require a lot of hands on training. We have a number of employees that do not necessarily play golf that are able to understand and operate the software effectively. Updates seems to be well thought out and executed. I like the ability to review all departments in our operation and keep tabs on what we are spending and making. Nice security features too.

Cons: ForeUp has experienced some growing pains. We suffered through the "Great Printer Fiasco" two seasons ago. Occasionally, updates get pushed through at really bad times for us on the east coast. We're up and running by 6AM daily during our season and we've experienced a few situations that we couldn't operate the software smoothly.

After using foreUP to manage my daily schedule, I could not imagine ever going back.

Pros: This software comes in handy for managing regularly watering the course, aerifying the greens, managing tee times, and managing sales. This is an all in one solution I would recommend to most smaller golf courses.

Cons: If I could put out one recommendation it would be to integrate my food and beverage sale as well. As of now the system can't take care of that.

Overall: Amazing software. After using this I couldn't imagine using anything else.

Pros: The tee sheet, it is easy to use and allows us to keep better track of our day and revenue.

The inventory mod is easy to use and again gives us what we need to keep track of what sells and what we might need.

Cons: The passes portion of the software. It is hard to update and the beginning of the year and I wish that it integrated a bit bit better with the tee sheet.

Overall: The benifits of use are the ability to keep better track of our members and punch card users and make better use of the tee sheet by making it easier for players to get tee times

Pros: The use of Passes to track memberships. The new feature to have renewable passes has saved us a lot of time when members renew their membership. The ability to schedule tee times weeks or months in advance. This allows us to schedule various tournaments with out conflicts in dates.

Cons: We are a small county course and the software has many great features that we can not currently use. That's a good problem to have.

Overall: Time and cost savings

Seamless transition from our old POS software, and staff training has been incredibly simple.

Pros: Interactive, intuitive software. Older staff can pick up the software quickly and with relative ease, and younger staff take nearly no time at all as the interfaces are reminiscent of the Google and Apple OS. The cloud-based model provides me with 24/7 access to critical operational data, no matter where I am or what task I'm involved with. Last but not least, the mobile version of the site is one of the easier to navigate and operate, and lets face it, our phone is where we spend a lot of our time and where we do more and more of our work.

Cons: Some of the report features make it difficult to extract the information I want at times. I would like some more common-sense reports related to monthly and annual rounds tracking.

Overall: Time savings, excellent value for money, high ROI and a very valuable customer service tool.

First class experience setting up this software. Can't speak highly enough of our customer rep. and the staff.

Pros: Ease of use, customization, and the ability to login from anywhere are my favorites right now. Can't wait to get going with the marketing aspect later on!

Cons: At this point, it's all just different than the old system we came from so nothing really stands out. I wish you could have an option for quicker key headers on the sales screen, and maybe some different options in the passes section, but overall fantastic so far.

Pros: The main benefit to this software is that it is cloud based and can be accessed anywhere. This comes in handy when I am not at the course and we have an issue that needs to be addressed immediately. The second is the easy user interface. The layouts and design of the POS system make it extremely easy for new employees to pick up and learn the system quickly. The third is that the company is constantly making improvements based on the suggestions and concerns from the courses using the product.

Cons: There are only two issues that I have with the POS system. I would like to point out that neither of these items are an issue but more of an inconvenience at times. The first is the fact that it is cloud based. If the course looses internet access due to a storm we are sitting ducks. We do have a backup plan in case this happens so again not a huge issue and really can't be fixed. The second is the fact that updates seem to occur during operating hours for us and can cause issues with our system during busy times of the day. We are usually able to resolve these issues quickly so again more of an inconvenience than a major concern.

The Foreup system has been great for our business. It is easy to use, always up and always working.

Pros: We use the Foreup system mostly for point of sale. The system was easy to setup. Their support site had articles that answered most of the questions I had while setting it up. For answers I couldn't find, the support staff was great in helping me figure it out.

I was a little nervous about using a cloud based system. Not having everything under control and worrying about always having a connection was a concern. But, the system has always been up and working. We have never had a moment of down time.

The POS part of the system is very easy to use. It didn't take much time for my staff to become comfortable with it. We had switched from a standard cash register.

We were able to easily implement a season pass program. Foreup handles it well and the setup wasn't difficult. We were converting from a paper process.

The system handles gift cards without using any 3rd party vendors to track and maintain gift card balances. Its all handled internally now.

Being an absentee owner it has been very helpful to be able to monitor my sales and other transaction remotely from any location in the world. I can check on sales periodically during the day. I can check the Cash Drawer reports. I can configure new items, update pricing, and all other configuration items off site. In the past I would have to be on site or on the phone with employees to take these things.

They are good at taking suggestions and enhancement requests and making the changes.

Cons: Easily checking or tracking sales made to a specific customer doesn't work very well. If I select a customer in the sales and ring up a sale for that customer. It is not easy to see that transaction for the customer. If the customer were to call to discuss a transaction it is not easily accessible.

The invoicing module is not flexible to do the things we need. Creating the invoice initially is easy. But, we need the ability to change an invoice after it has been sent to a customer. Sometimes pricing needs to be changed, notes on lines need to be modified, or sometimes we need to add a new line or cancel a line.

Voiding a payment to an invoice so it can be reapplied to another invoice or just left as a credit on the customer's account is not straight forward.

Sales tax is calculate at the line level instead of the order level.

The sales tax is setup at the item level rather than at the location level.

Overall: added visibility to my business.

Pros: For our needs the system provides us with a simple to operate point of sale system and electronic tee sheet. We plan to expand our use of the system to include more marketing to users via mobile technology. Our instructors use additional tee sheets to schedule their classes and lessons.

Cons: Some of the reporting can be a little tough to navigate. Once you get used to where to find things it's quite simple.

Pros: The ease of order taking. The ability to separate tickets or combine tickets is excellent. The inventory audit works very well for Food and Beverage. The reports section is so helpful and easy to navigate.

Cons: The inability to put a discount on an entire order without having to discount each item. The fact that you have to send the items to the kitchen printer from the Food and Beverage screen.

We have installed Fore Up at 4 of our golf courses and everyone has been thrilled with the product!

Pros: Love the cloud-based aspect so I can access reports or book tee times from anywhere. This also allows cart-girls on the course to have live access to customer tabs or tee sheet changes. It has made our company more efficient and more profitable.

Booking times and checking in golfers is a breeze. Less steps than our prior software and employees are happy about that.

Cons: There have been a few limitation of the software in terms of account reports but we found some options to get the information we need. We are also working with Fore up on logistics of third party bookings since that is not currently available with the software. They are in the works of programming the necessary tools to make that available. We appreciate their help in getting the perfect product for our facilities

Overall: Cloud based reports is the biggest factor for me.

ForeUp Software is perfect, and so is the Team!

Pros: We were in the market for a cloud based point of sale system. Our old system was ok, but we felt like we were missing some opportunities when it came to communicating with our data base of golfers. Sending a blast e-mail before was a pain, and time consuming. ForeUp's platform makes it SO easy to send a blast e-mail, or text, to the whole data base, or any custom portion of the data base. Simple daily tasks that were tricky with our old system are now very easy and ultra fast, as they should be. Thinks like repeating tee times, tracking cart numbers, blocking back 9 starting times, etc. are all super user friendly. Our training was done in less than an hour!

Overall: Very easy to use. Everything is totally custom, so if you don't like something, there is a really good chance you can change it.

By far the best customer service experience with their support team! Easy to use software.

Pros: Easy to use. Fast for golfers and staff. Any member of our staff can check a golfer in with ease. Online tee times is very user friendly.

Cons: Wish I could have a feature to allow me to see reports for all 4 courses we manage, instead of having to log in individually. Also wish their was a report to do comparisons year over year.

Pros: Responsive and helpful support team. Overall FANTASTIC customer service.
The most important functions (tee-sheet and sales screen) work consistently and quickly.
Straightforward interface that is easy to learn.
Regular updates to the software.

Cons: Some features are a little limited.
One or two of the updates ended up being a downgrade in quality.
