Time and cost savings

Pros

The use of Passes to track memberships. The new feature to have renewable passes has saved us a lot of time when members renew their membership. The ability to schedule tee times weeks or months in advance. This allows us to schedule various tournaments with out conflicts in dates.

Cons

We are a small county course and the software has many great features that we can not currently use. That's a good problem to have.

This has been a great program for us being a small course and coming from a manual previous system. It does have some improvements to be made, especially on the reporting side that I feel is constantly improving.

Pros

The training and support prior to implementing the program to make sure we were ready was top notch!

Cons

We have experienced some glitches in the system with the check in process. Sometimes it won't show the members being checked in, even though they were checked in. We are having to refresh the program continuously which takes time and slows us down, however, the one con that is least liked about the system is not being able to have the restaurant side and the pro shop side coincide. Having to be in one or the other when we do everything from one counter is an issue. We have been having to only use the sales side of the system because the two sides to not talk to each other.

Pros

User friendly, easy to use. The support is always there to help whenever needed. Super friendly staff, they get back to you as soon as they can with the right answers. I have never had an issue getting ahold of them or them finding a solution to a problem that I may have.

Cons

Sometimes slow, but it could be our internet at times. Tee sheet may freeze from time to time as it tries to load into the booking part.

Pros

The user friendly aspect and the updates. Being able now to text the customers to let them know what is happening at the Meaford Golf Course. The automatic monthly billing system for our customers.

Cons

Waiting on the phone to get customer support if there is a problem. This survey dictating how long the answer has to be in order to be submitted. Usually surveys want to the point answers not paragraphs.

Pros

The Feature I like most about ForeUp is the Weather and Sunrise/Sunset schedule being displayed on each day, and the ease of changing between days.

Cons

One thing I do not like about this software is when it deletes a new customers information when you go back to edit their name. Also that we can not switch between different courses without logging out.

I am an employee not an owner so I have no comment at this point.

Pros

I started using this software for the firsty time this spring at the registration area of a golf course. It makes multitasking easy and was simple to learn as well as teach. I was a golf professional for 25 years and never used a system like this one, but wish I had. Every golf course in the country should be using this as it makes adding starting times, moving times, adding information and a daily report very useful.

Cons

I have had no issues with this system/program.

Cons

Customer service has not existed. Tried getting in contact with the service team and they do not respond. The software does not work as it was described it would.

Ease of use for both golf operations and F&b operations. They continue to update product and hope they take recommendations for review.

Pros

Ease of use on tee sheet for modification in blocking setting tee times. Very easy compared to using other platforms.

Cons

Ability to make changes with invoices once invoice has been started. Marketing when sending emails could be easier should have spell check incorporated along with emails being formatted for computer or when opened on a cell phone. Cell phones aren't centered correctly.

Real time updates.

Pros

The tee-sheet with names, cart numbers, time tee-off, turned and finished. Customer information like telephone number, email address etc.

Cons

What I do not like is when updates are made to the software and is occurs at our eastern standard times at 6am and we are open and trying to process sales. Systems sometimes locks up.

The support and comprehensiveness . All calls are answered with the same day if the issue can not be addressed immediately

Cons

Learning curve can be lengthy due to the comprehensiveness. The clubs internet serve is limited due to its remote location which has been a performance issue when saving a change in the software

Pros

Our clubhouse staff loves using the foreUp software. It is simple to use and train new employees. Having a software that can accommodate everything on the golf front but also from a sales perspective is huge. We use it for everything from placing food and beverage orders to scheduling tee times and employee time clock-in/out. The customer service team is very helpful and attentive to our needs to keep up and running. We look forward to continuing to use the software and take even more advantage of it's capabilities.

Cons

Occasionally the website goes down, which impacts all parts of our operations.

The fact that it was all web-based and accessed from anywhere. It was viewed to be very user friendly and current with today's times.

Pros

Very easy to use and navigate around the menus.

Cons

Its easy to add the inventory in the wrong spot but Customer support was able to help us quickly get it corrected.

Wait for updates until they are fully functional. Work on consistent support especially on weekends when needed most. A multi course dashboard should be available.
