Simplicity in the overall POS programming, simple instructions and simple usage throughout the golf operation. The simplicity means less time compiling reports and more family time.

Pros

How easy it integrates with the entire golf operation regardless if the club is a resort, private, public, semi-private.

Cons

With all the demos that foreUP have given, I have yet to see any part of the software I like least.

Pros

The ability to actually talk to the software technicians about new ideas and they listen to make our jobs easier as the golf course shop workers to get our golfers checked in faster. The ease of not having to hit extra non sense buttons while making tee times, checking in golfers, or adding in customers makes the time much more useful for my staff to interactive with our golfing guests.

The customer service at ForeUp is phenomenal. They are very quick to get back to me and walk me through any training needed or help with any problems that arise.

Pros

I like how easy it is to navigate through this software and that it is all cloud based so I can access it anywhere.

Cons

I wanted to see some different reports than what were available, which has actually been implemented now in the new reporting.

If you don't have experience in design, these templates make it easy to customize and send out to the customer base.

Pros

It is easy and mostly error free. The WYSIWYG editor is pretty nice and easy for almost anyone to use.

Cons

There were some limitations on the earlier marketing platform, those have since been updated and improved.

Only negative for me is that it didn’t integrate with other software companies and their tee sheets- but none of them do.

I would say positive. needs some issues addressed to make it user friendly. But I like the system.

The ability to track loyalty points and communicate with the customer.

Cons

Tee sheet issues. System would push tee time out of viewing screen or to another time. Still getting used to it.

Pros

I love how intuitive the software is. So easy for me and my employees to use. The new marketing software makes it easy to bring more revenue in.

Cons

Now that the member data has been improved I can’t think of anything.

As I have used many other scheduling products for tee times this one has definitely been the easiest to use from a consumer standpoint. It has a very clean UI and easy to navigate. Many of the local courses here are not using this software and the ability to have just one account to pay for any tee times has been a breeze!

Cons

Had issues adding a course pass to my profile...although I think that was more the courses fault.

We are new to Foreup, but enjoy the ability to separate year old tournament credit from new credit; excellent customer data base options, the ease of making tee times and changes, and excellent customer service on questions and suggestions. Pros

Its ease of use and the reporting is detailed to meet our needs. I like how I can sort members based on various groups

Cons

We do not like how the tee sheet check in process is set up. We would like it to check in those people who are members and bypass the sales screen since their rounds of golf are included in their membership dues. Also I would like the sales tax to be split between the 2 taxing entities for our state.

Pros

Ease of use, customization, and the ability to login from anywhere are my favorites right now. Can't wait to get going with the marketing aspect later on!

Cons

At this point, it's all just different than the old system we came from so nothing really stands out. I wish you could have an option for quicker key headers on the sales screen, and maybe some different options in the passes section, but overall fantastic so far.

Mobile version is not super functional. Can't run reports from the phone and some other features are difficult.

Pros

foreUP is well thought out and easy to use. Their customer service is extraordinary and always available. The thing we like most is the training and willingness to work with what might be unique to us. The marketing module is invaluable.

Nothing at this point. The transition has gone very smooth.

Pros

The ease of order taking. The ability to separate tickets or combine tickets is excellent. The inventory audit works very well for Food and Beverage. The reports section is so helpful and easy to navigate.

Cons

The inability to put a discount on an entire order without having to discount each item. The fact that you have to send the items to the kitchen printer from the Food and Beverage screen.

Since starting using foreUp, we have been able to optimize the tee times that get sold; be it online or golfers using the IVR. If you are thinking about switching or in the process of getting a new POS software, foreUp is the way to go. You will not be disappointed.

Pros

From the beginning, foreUp has been wonderful to use. I have have used many POS systems and this is one of the easiest. From setup to design to use, use, it has been fantastic. We have 5 courses and we have been able to setup the system to suit our needs.

Cons

After 10 months of using it, I do not think I have any thing that I do not like in this software.
