Our overall experience is a 10 ... we highly recommend this product to any golf course looking for a change and/or starting out! This product is very easy to use and their help desk is phenomenal!

Pros

This software gets better each year, as Lightspeed continues to add more modules to make our job easier. We, at Jackson National Golf Club in Jackson, Tennessee, have been using this software for 6 years and have no complaints. We especially love their Help Desk whose staff is well versed and very accommodating when there is a problem.

Cons

The most time consuming for us, is making sure that all of our members' rounds are accounted for. To this, we not only have to make them as arrived but also have to process their $0.00 payment each time. We would love for the software to do this automatically when we click the ARRIVED button.

We went from a pencil and paper tee sheet to this robust system. I'm not gonna lie, there were a few bumps along the way but once I was trained I was able to train all my employees and it's been invaluable to evaluating the health of our country club.

Pros

Platform is intuitive. Training is manageable. It is robust enough to go REALLY deep while easy enough for "cheap" empoyees to navigate it without messing stuff up. The integration between tee sheet and retail is awesome and I'm hoping when we add restaurant it will also be awesome.

Cons

There are some features I would like to be able to adjust myself, but the company keeps it in house so we occasionally need Lightspeed to adjust stuff for us.

Pros

This software allows golf-central businesses to keep organized; it specializes in booking anything from 1 person tee times to large scale tournaments that can span multiple courses. There are numerous integrations with this software that allows bookings from other websites to show up on the tee sheets on its own!

Cons

At times the software can be a bit slow and buggy when working with large tournament data, especially when adding dozens of shotgun groups at once.

I have had a great experience so far with Lightspeed and the customer support has been top notch. We are hoping Lightspeed Payments takes us to another level this coming season. Very pleased with the change to Lightspeed in early 2022.

Many logical processes are not included. It is not very user friendly, and it behaves like 3 separate companies merged into one, that don't communicate very well.

Onboarding is taking months, not hours. For 6-8 weeks we did not have the ability to take card payments.

Pros

receiving inventory is fairly simple, though I'm not sure accountability is there on the back end.

Cons

Many things are not user friendly, and do not have a feel that the designer ever worked in a golf shop.
