REALTOR(R) Real Estate Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Real estate focused solution with easy-to-use web interface in Top Producer X version" October 10, 2020 4.0 The sales and support interactions were all excellent, at every step of the way, from initial sales contact to following up to make sure I continue to be successful. Their sales and support people know their product roadmap and have input to product developments. This shows their product management is on point. Good product management is the key to having a system which will support their users continued success. Pros The contacts are easy to import and easy to set up in the Top Producer X web version. I enjoy seeing my email conversations within the contacts. It is a good addition to my normal work environment, using Win10 touchscreen laptop. I keep Top Producer X as one tab open in a Chrome web browser alongside social media and property information throughout my working day. The layout makes it easy to update information and next steps for multiple clients and contacts. Cons The web version doesn't have all the features of their legacy 8i product. They have an active development team working on porting features from an older system (which is still functional) into the newer system I started on, Top Producer X. Mobile version still needs updates to newer interface. Text messages sent from the TPX CRM are hard to view and act on responses on my mobile device. It's not perfect, but I have trust that they will incrementally provide updates that solve these issues and more. Out of all the companies I talked to when I searched for a CRM, Top Producer has the most real estate focused solution. They appear to be invested in supporting real estate activity as their primary market. Owner and Lead Realtor Real Estate Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Great Product - Even Better Company" December 27, 2021 5.0 This helps me as the lead track what our future flow of business will look like and a benefit we are soon to realize - onboarding NEW agents is made possible through the transaction and communication management system. Pros This product is really incredible - we didn't have to be tech experts to set it up because the onboarding team at Top Producer was so amazing - they helped us every step of the way to make sure we were optimizing our use and continue to communicate with the team - answering questions and helping as needed. As for TPX itself - we love the interactivity level it gives us with our clients and our transactions - we've built our very robust transaction templates and WE DON'T MISS ANYTHING in the transaction processing - we also intentionally build relationships with the people who matter most. Cons We want to be able to manage conversation tracking and transaction updates on the go from a phone - the web app is not great for that. Each member of our team invested in a large tablet with Data so we could use the CRM from a car as easily as from a desk. They have completely derailed our systems, lost our data and cost us a lot of additional dollars and headaches. Pros Originally it was highly customizable and worked great for decades. Constellation Real Estate Group purchased the system and botched the data transfer. They lost all of you historical communication email and letter templates and were unapologetic about how much this cost my team to recreate. Then to top it off they doubled their prices. Cons it is down all the time and the keep scaling back the features to try to get you to sign up for their new system which is a Joke! Reason for choosing TOP PRODUCER We when with TP over 20 years ago and are now looking for alternatives as it is no longer a viable system and overly expensive - Constellation also owner Market Leader so that is probably in the same boat. I was never a fan the more I learned, and the more I got frustrated with the overdone workings of it. Too many steps for simple tasks. It is too time consuming to use, and discourages follow up with clients, when the CRM software is the burden. Pros It is a tried and true platform for brokerages and teams to track deals, clients, and every aspect of the business. it can do a lot, and I mean a LOT. This is the industry standard software that has been around for ages in Real Estate. Cons It is severely outdated. It is cumbersome, not easy to navigate, and just clunky. Its a step above an old DOS system that has been modified to work in windows. Its behind the times, and difficult for end users that, especially if they are not very tech savvy, to use and operate. November 17, 2023 3.0 I would not recommend Top Producer at all. The support I received in the beginning was pretty good but is has gone downhill for sure. The website feels like something from the early 2000's and is not user friendly. I do believe this company gets your into a contract and when you have issues will not help resolve them. I am currently waiting for my contract to end but have moved onto another platform which I am super happy with. Basically I am waiting for my time to run out with them. Pros The employee that helped me onboard was actually super helpful. She was really knowledgeable and super friendly. Cons I was super excited when I chatted with the sales person. I asked a lot of questions and was super hopeful for this product. Unfortunately, what he promised was not what was delivered. The CRM and the website are super antiquated and did not perform as promised. I had a lot of issues syncing google to this platform. The contact management is not at all east to use. I use Chrome for everything so having to have another browser open is a little bit frustrating. Cons We need a tad of patience - the sophistication of Listing & Actions plans experienced in 8i is not yet available in X - which forces old users like me to navigate between the two versions to fully complete my work ( not ideal but bearable for the time being) - while Top Producer may not be offering the most user friendly product, you would be hard pressed to experience the power and sophistication it conveys with any of its competitors - like anything worth having, there is a learning curve with it and it is 100% worth it - the blessing in disguise is that you are never alone, the support team is the best I have witnessed in my life and I have been a Realtor for over 30 years - while the staff is unbelievably knowledgeable, they have agreeable personalities and they have the talent to listen carefully and explain patiently - rare for nerds LOL! I am very disappointed with Top producer 8i. Pros address book feature, email, recording closing data Cons The program takes about 5 minutes to load now, once I click on email. Time is money. it takes too long to load since the data transfer/ email migration to a newer software program, back in Mar /April 2022. I saved my closings on the Closing tab--about 80% of my data disappeared? I asked for 2 months creditin Aug 2022. I was supposed to get my 1st free month credit on 1 Sept 2022, as promised from customer service--it did not happen. I was still charged $58 on 1 Sept 2022. I had to email top producer, to fight for my 2 months free credit again. I probably will be charged on 1 Oct 2022 for $58, then I will call back, to request for my free 2 months credit? I wonder if customer service and accounting/billing are communicating w/ each other? Customer service is no longer the key component of this product. Pros I loved it when there was live customer service. Cons I've used Top Producer or had the product for over 25 years. The live customer service use to be the best in the business! It was the main reason I recommended the product. However, when discovering my website was not function correctly with the idx, come to find out it was no longer available and it took weeks to work out thru massive emails and chat boxes. The whole thing could have been resolved, much like most thing, very quickly if a live person answered the phone! Funny thing is, you can get a live body immediately in sales!! That was the only way I got anywhere with my major problem. I'm no going to be shutting down my website soon, once my new site is set up, due to the lack of live body customer service. Who wants to pay for a service and be told when you call in that it will take 2-3 days for a response. Or you other option is to spend an outrageous amount of time typing and waiting for responses in a small little box. Clearly Top Producer has changed and regrettably service has gone down. Reason for choosing TOP PRODUCER As previously stated, the customer service use to be top rated. Easy to call in and get a live body and resolve your issues, which were very rare, quickly. There is a bit of a learning curve to configure the settings, import your contacts, and setup the software. It includes well-documented support and regular training sessions that offer an ongoing refresher. The Market Snapshot and Action Plans help diversify my marketing mix and spark strategic follow-up conversations. This CMS software makes a solid supplement to the CRM our brokerage provides. Cons My clients have said the Market Snapshot reports look clunky compared to similar valuation alerts they receive. Granted, it works well and the numbers are on par with other AVMs; however, the front-end UI could use some modernizing. I also dislike how Market Snapshot only integrates with TP Websites, which are again very limited versus similar options. Really wish there was a simple widget to easily embed this functionality. Lastly, I hope there will be self-serve billing options in the future. Calling or emailing in with updated payment info is rather inconvenient. Reason for choosing TOP PRODUCER More robust CRM software suite than other real estate Contact Management Systems. The lead nurture Action Plans are easy to automate and customize. I left TP and tried follow up boss. I didn’t like it, and I can back. Customer service has always been great. Pros Love that it keeps me organized, easily apply automated plans to transactions and to clients. Top Producer makes me look good. Cons I don't like that they have removed the function to print letters (we have some clients with no computers and/or email), and I am not fond of the feature that creates "relationships" as it does not work well for printing lists. Recently they have had major issues. There is absolutely NO customer service. They have shut their phone helpline down. I had 20 years' worth of letters/templates/ emails/etc. that I have loaded into their system. Now they tell me they have all been erased and they can not produce them. I would never recommend their products!! Pros At this time nothing is working. They have tried to transfer to a new program and it is very poor. Cons Continual breakdowns. The new software they are wanting to switch to has very limited functions compared to the original software. TPX is brutal. No support. Super buggy. Stay away! Pros TP 8i was good but not working anyway. We were forced to upgrade to TPX. Cons TPX is very buggy. There is way too many things that are in the software that I don't use. It woukd be best if they had different levels of users instead if one size fits all. This product allows me to set plans and then just do the tasks as they come up. It keeps my schedule, if it isn't on the schedule it doesn't get done. I couldn't do have the work I do without TP keeping me organized and on schedule. It would be impossible to juggle all my clients without this product. Pros This product has got all the bells and whistles. It is easy to use and as your knowledge and experience grows the product grows with you. Customer service is wonderful. I love the online version. Pros I like the tasks and to do functions. I also like being able to keep up with all my people in one place. Cons I'm not sure yet. I just started using it.
