They have completely derailed our systems, lost our data and cost us a lot of additional dollars and headaches. Pros Originally it was highly customizable and worked great for decades. Constellation Real Estate Group purchased the system and botched the data transfer. They lost all of you historical communication email and letter templates and were unapologetic about how much this cost my team to recreate. Then to top it off they doubled their prices. Cons it is down all the time and the keep scaling back the features to try to get you to sign up for their new system which is a Joke! Reason for choosing TOP PRODUCER We when with TP over 20 years ago and are now looking for alternatives as it is no longer a viable system and overly expensive - Constellation also owner Market Leader so that is probably in the same boat. After shopping and working with many other platforms it felt great to have people at customer care that I literally know by name and can trust. I was being passed along from one intern to the next with the other platforms. Listen, at the end of the day I want the best for my clients. Top Producer is the best I have found and gets the job done! Pros Customer care is the best! Easy to use. And the best "team" compatability that I have found in a crm. I'm fresh out of shopping all the top brands and systems out there too! Literally invested over 10k trying other systems in 2023 and have found Top Producer is the best for my team. Team task sharing, and seaching and sorting lists for my database is so easy! Cons It didn't seem to be as cool looking as some of the new products out there. I did fall for the idx feature within the crm being awesome...and I still think that is a cool feature that other programs do have. But if the basic functionality of a crm cannot happen as well as Top Producer, I can't fall for the fluff and risk giving up top producer features. Today Fajr answered my chat immediately and understood exactly what my question was. This is usually how it is, and they have even been through an ownership change. Pros Ability to send very targeted emails using the categories Cons I wish I didn't have to back and forth between 8 and X, but that's ok, I've learned them both and what X cannot do. I was never a fan the more I learned, and the more I got frustrated with the overdone workings of it. Too many steps for simple tasks. It is too time consuming to use, and discourages follow up with clients, when the CRM software is the burden. Pros It is a tried and true platform for brokerages and teams to track deals, clients, and every aspect of the business. it can do a lot, and I mean a LOT. This is the industry standard software that has been around for ages in Real Estate. Cons It is severely outdated. It is cumbersome, not easy to navigate, and just clunky. Its a step above an old DOS system that has been modified to work in windows. Its behind the times, and difficult for end users that, especially if they are not very tech savvy, to use and operate. Deals and clients seem to get lost in the mist, its hard to know what way is up. Switched from [HubSpot CRM](https://www.capterra.com/p/152373/HubSpot-CRM/) Brokerage wanted to use this software. November 17, 2023 3.0 I would not recommend Top Producer at all. The support I received in the beginning was pretty good but is has gone downhill for sure. The website feels like something from the early 2000's and is not user friendly. I do believe this company gets your into a contract and when you have issues will not help resolve them. I am currently waiting for my contract to end but have moved onto another platform which I am super happy with. Basically I am waiting for my time to run out with them. Pros The employee that helped me onboard was actually super helpful. She was really knowledgeable and super friendly. Cons I was super excited when I chatted with the sales person. I asked a lot of questions and was super hopeful for this product. Unfortunately, what he promised was not what was delivered. The CRM and the website are super antiquated and did not perform as promised. I had a lot of issues syncing google to this platform. The contact management is not at all east to use. I have had a great experience. Pros Functionality, tools available, interface, style and design of the software Cons When using 8i I need to use Internet Explorer. That's the biggest downfall. I use Chrome for everything so having to have another browser open is a little bit frustrating. If you are looking for basic system it would be better to use other cost-effective products. Overall grade rating would be a NO PASS on this. Who wants to toggle between two of your website platforms just to use all the features just because the engineers couldn't integrate and charge premium pricing? I don't recommend. Pros It does the basics which is good. Price wise for the basics you really could find other platforms that can do the same at a better price than Top Producer. Cons They lack HUGE on syncing, automatic connection with lead generating websites. They toggle between two websites because they system is very circa 2000 look and feel so the scripting does match with other more current lead gen engines so unfortunately can grow with Top Producer. Good basic feature, too expensive for the basic features, and very old platform scripting which makes the user friendly SUPER old. I am very disappointed with Top producer 8i. Pros address book feature, email, recording closing data Cons The program takes about 5 minutes to load now, once I click on email. Time is money. it takes too long to load since the data transfer/ email migration to a newer software program, back in Mar /April 2022. I saved my closings on the Closing tab--about 80% of my data disappeared? I asked for 2 months creditin Aug 2022. I was supposed to get my 1st free month credit on 1 Sept 2022, as promised from customer service--it did not happen. I was still charged $58 on 1 Sept 2022. I had to email top producer, to fight for my 2 months free credit again. I probably will be charged on 1 Oct 2022 for $58, then I will call back, to request for my free 2 months credit? I wonder if customer service and accounting/billing are communicating w/ each other? Look elsewhere CRM's are cheap this is a rip off. Pros nothing, the only redeemable feature was the calendar sharing, however google calendar integration broke and they have not bothered to fix it. Their calendar app is garbage, adding appointments in is the equivalent of nails on a chalk board, using it absolutely sucks! Cons Expensive, outdated and abandoned by it new owners. Customer service can take from 1-3 days to get back to you, their new platform has again been abandoned since their bread and butter is their 1990 8I platform, witch has some decent legacy features like label making but who knows when that breaks and gets left behind too. The customer service is terrific! What I love most about customer service is the clock to chat feature. Agents are always ready and able to answer my questions. Pros It is very robust! I love the way you can add tons of information about a contact. I also really appreciate the “Coach”. It reminds me to be in contact with 5 new people every day based on parameters I set up for different contact types. I also like how easy it is to send an email to select contact types making it even easier to stay top of mind. Cons The thing I dislike most is the way that contacts have to be entered when there is a household of two or more. For example, I help a husband and wife list and sell their home and buy a new one. I am normally working with both parties throughout the process and build a relationship with both. Unfortunately, Top Producer requires two individual records of I want both individuals to be included in the Coach feature, market snapshot and other very powerful tools. On the other hand, by creating two contact records for the same household, I have the risk of duplicates when sending a mailing. Plus that means there are two records to update with changes and notes. Reason for choosing TOP PRODUCER MoxyWorks was a benefit provided through my broker. I wanted my data and records to be fully portable if I chose to leave my company - which ultimately I did! Very few issues but the service is great Pros Although there are a few issues with how we use it, it works well and serves it;s purpose. The customer service is top notch. Always get personalized help and issues solved speedingly Cons X won't let me do big enough mass mailer. Sometimes contact types go missing...client still there but contact types disappear. Pros TopProducer is a complete CRM with so many features that Realtors need! From contact management and lead conversion, to transaction management - this is the sole reason I have been successful as an individual agent for over 15 years and now my entire team of basically brand new agents are also incredibly successful as well! TPX is brutal. No support. Super buggy. Stay away! Pros TP 8i was good but not working anyway. We were forced to upgrade to TPX. Cons TPX is very buggy. During the switch over all templates were lost for me and all other customers. Pros I have been using Top Producer for more than 20 years and I like how it keeps all my clients organized. Cons I think it got too robust. There is way too many things that are in the software that I don't use. It woukd be best if they had different levels of users instead if one size fits all. This product allows me to set plans and then just do the tasks as they come up. It keeps my schedule, if it isn't on the schedule it doesn't get done. I couldn't do have the work I do without TP keeping me organized and on schedule. It would be impossible to juggle all my clients without this product. Pros This product has got all the bells and whistles. It is easy to use and as your knowledge and experience grows the product grows with you. Customer service is wonderful. Cons using 8i and x is a bit much. Features should be available in each. x has a very light display on cell phones almost unreadable and is also too light on pc. I wish they would correct this. \*\*\* Connect program needs to be made available to use all office listings with Realcomp II in Michigan. Please let me know. Market Leader a sister company does it.
