I know there are other products out there, but this is the one that I use on a daily basis. Most of the time I can reach technical support and they are very helpful. Pros Are use this product for not only staying in touch with clients, I have activities for buyers and sellers and transaction plans Cons I don’t really like the new Top Producer X. I have had prospects in my system for several years before they purchased a property. Not every lead is ready to pull the trigger immediately. I have had any clients say over the years that because I was consistent with my follow up is one reason they dealt with us! Pros Top Producer has been our go to software for over 15 years. I have several thousand contacts in my data base and it would be impossible to manage them without such a system. The pre written emails and letter are very appropriate for the real estate industry, although we have added dozens additional for individual specific applications. I insist that out new associates use the program, 1 so they can do the proper client follow up, 2 so I can over see that prospects and clients are being followed up the right way. Cons Sometimes getting the signatures correct on the bottom of our emails need extra work. The drafting sometimes needs adjustments before sending out the email. I always check the finished email before I hit send, so this can be somewhat cumbersome id doing 10 to 30 emails in the morning. We are talking about the most important tool in my arsenal. Pros Nothing, I was a customer for seven years. Cons There needs to be an export function in TPx. I would like to be able to choose a theme color for the screen. Some pages are hard to differentiate when layed on top of each other. Pros I have been using Top Producer for more than 20 years and I like how it keeps all my clients organized. Cons I think it got too robust. There is way too many things that are in the software that I don't use. It woukd be best if they had different levels of users instead if one size fits all. The support I received in the beginning was pretty good but is has gone downhill for sure. The website feels like something from the early 2000's and is not user friendly. I do believe this company gets your into a contract and when you have issues will not help resolve them. I am currently waiting for my contract to end but have moved onto another platform which I am super happy with. Basically I am waiting for my time to run out with them. Pros The employee that helped me onboard was actually super helpful. She was really knowledgeable and super friendly. Cons I was super excited when I chatted with the sales person. I asked a lot of questions and was super hopeful for this product. Unfortunately, what he promised was not what was delivered. The CRM and the website are super antiquated and did not perform as promised. I had a lot of issues syncing google to this platform. The contact management is not at all east to use. This product allows me to set plans and then just do the tasks as they come up. It keeps my schedule, if it isn't on the schedule it doesn't get done. I couldn't do have the work I do without TP keeping me organized and on schedule. It would be impossible to juggle all my clients without this product. Pros This product has got all the bells and whistles. It is easy to use and as your knowledge and experience grows the product grows with you. Customer service is wonderful. They have been having major issues with the software and so-called updates. I believe but am not certain because of the lack of knowledge through TP support team, that the software will be upgrading to a TPX. This platform does not create presentations, allow searches for certain contacts, and lacks more than half the capabilities of TP8i. I would not recommend investing in this software right now. Cons Software is majority of the time down due to "UPDATES" but nothing has changed. Lack of knowledge from support. Downtime of system. Presentations are no longer available. I have never seen or heard of any software company take an existing software and NOT have the Ability or Resources to keep it operating as it was. I expected the NEW \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] to improve the operation NOT MAKE IT WORST... I don't know how much longer I can put up with NOT BEING ABLE TO DEPEND on operation of TP8i Pros The ease of Bulk Email, CMA's, Template's, Applications- Net sheets, Contacts , Listings & Closings and the DISPLAY of DATA for each CONTACT. Cons There wasn't anything that I DIDN'T like about TP8i = The past year with all the downtime, Slow response time for the past year has been terrible and STILL is NOT a good dependable software. I am overcoming the lost of templets, BUT I end up REBOOTING TP8i about every 30 minutes to an hour. Its not the software that is a problem. It's the inability of the Present Management Keeping it RUNNING. August 12, 2020 1.0 The Top Producer system will create more headache and stress in your life when you are trying to do the opposite. Then they stick it to you with a cancel fee of 5 months service upfront to cancel. Don't put yourself in that position with these people, they couldn't care less about you and your business goals. Find another company that you can have an honest business building partnership with... Pros I found no redeeming quality to this product. Cons If you purchase their website with the crm, it's a joke. It won't load on certain browsers. You will have to purchase additional subscriptions they do not disclose. IDX is very crappy and unprofessional, unless you purchase from 3rd party and install on your site. You will also need to purchase a security subscription neither of these are disclosed when you subscribe to their crappy service. The snapshot feature also did not work for me. It could not locate my own home to test the system. Very disappointing. How can you send this out to potential clients if it doesn't even work when you test it on your home. No confidence in this product. All of this took weeks to figure out by the way because their customer service is lousy. Additionally the sales rep also misled me to believe you could send text with the crm. Yes, you can but you can not in a follow-up campaign. If you use a 10 day follow up that includes text, that's a no go. It can't do that... Furthermore, when I got fed up with this lousy system and the lousy customer service, I tried to cancel. Oh, you can't cancel unless you pay us our ridiculous monthly fee for 5 months. It's a total scam, they can trick you into wasting your time and money, then when you had enough and want to cancel they refuse to cancel your billing. They want 5 months up front or they will bill your card to the end of a 12 month contract they never kept their end of the agreement on... Scam Scam Scam Reason for choosing TOP PRODUCER I choose TP because they had me believe that I could use the text feature in a follow up campaign, which you cannot unfortunately. Just not the issues referred to above. Pros I liked the possibility of all of the features available. Cons It took a long time to upgrade the product, and when it finally happened many of the features were no longer available. When I would call on them I'd be told they were either working on them or that I should put in a request to have them work on them. It took a long time to get TP to integrate with my MLS, and when they finally did it was wiped out with the switch to TPX and the answer that they were working on restoring it. That never happened.
