They used to be the most powerful SEO tool. Not only are they not as easy to use as their competitors now, but the tools just aren't as good. After fixing issues, there isn't a way to get MOZ to re-analyze your entire site. You have to wait a few days. That's just how it seems to me now. I just can't get much done very fast. I use it mostly for generating metrics and the toolbar extension in my browser makes it easy for me to see key stats about any website that I'm on - such as title tags, DA,PA and inbound links. It's also good for generating optimisation recommendations for the website. It's really easy to use and doesn't require much training or reading up to get started with this. Cons Not many cons for this tool. It does everything you want it to with a nice user experience. I guess the only downside could be that if you have limited knowledge or are a beginner the amount of information could be a bit overwhelming for you. Review Source ML Mary L. It has helped me write articles that get hundreds of unique reads a day and convert to leads and paying users. I also enjoy the weekly reports, and they are especially useful if recently launched your website or are constantly adding new pages. Cons I don't like having to wait a whole week for reports to update and run. Especially since I am only maintaining one site at a time. Moz allows you to crawl multiple sites a week, but only publishes one report per site a week. I would love to be able to use the multiple sites crawls per week on the same site. October 15, 2020 5.0 I like using MOZ with SEMRush and other tools. They compliment each other. I recommend it to other people, especially those new to SEO and looking for something user friendly and affordable that is the real deal versus some of the newer SEO tools like UberSuggest which I think still have a ways to go. Pros I like that it's very user friendly. Compared to other tools like SEMRush, I find it to be more "fun" and more intuitive to search for keywords and such. It's also a more affordable product depending on the level you choose. Cons It doesn't do it all. Compared to SEMRush, there are some features missing. It gives you a detailed snapshot of your SEO situation that allows you to adjust mistakes you may have done. It si quite a precise tool that covers many SEO topics such as backlinks, page errors... From page analysis with their on page grader to their rank tracker, we uncover so many things about our site. Personally, I enjoy using their domain authority ranking as well as the ability to view key metrics against competitors. As we continue to work on our back links its always a great thing to see how many links we have as well as page opportunities with our key word. Cons We're not able to track the top links for our competitors like ahrefs. Which does present some challenges in evaluating our own top links. The keyword selection and matching tools work great. It uncovered many, many words and phrases Cons The set-up was pretty intensive. In retrospect I probably should have leaned more heavily on customer support or training videos to get on-boarded. It's also slightly disappointing that some of the reports are not available until a week or more after you load up the keywords. Cons When I checked the price of the lowest tier, it wasn't worth subscribing for my small blog. Some of the data are not accurate as well. These guys are always super helpful and thorough. Moz has practically invented the SEO space and always has great content (Whiteboard Fridays, Moz Top-10, Beginners Guide to SEO). Cons I find the interface and dashboard difficult to use. I find myself spending a lot of time looking for simple info. Other times, I'm left wanting more.
