I was surprised by the features, as I only expected remote desktop capabilities. Not for beginners, but has the power to perform more than what you will need it for. Pros First and foremost you can download a FREE version of this application. There is an Enterprise version that has many more features relating to reporting, security and team level access. The software is very powerful and can access different forms of remote data, such as cloud storage and remote databases, as well as screen sharing, file transfer and SSH capability. Cons Remote Desktop Manager is an in-depth program with many features. Using this program as a beginner can be daunting. To effectively use this application, I needed to watch/read the introductory tutorial videos, documentation and search for YouTube videos. Without looking at the support material, I would have find it difficult to use this software. Pros The user interface is fluid, grouping of arrays is simple and managing thousands of different user profiles makes life much easier. Pros The free version of RDM has a lot of features. My favourite one is the capability to sync all the connections and credentials on cloud. It's helpful to have an easy solution, and it's a great learning experience. Pros I like to think that I am able to troubleshoot most of my own tech problems. Unfortunately, I get stuck from time to time. Remote Desktop Manager lets me call on my friends who have more techie brains than I do. We can connect, they can take over my computer, and I can watch my problem be solved. It's a great! Cons Excellent usability, simple and intuitive. Very promising tool and with each passing day the developers put more options available for use. Without a doubt, it is an extremely complete tool. New collegues can get a jump start by using an organized vault of remote connections. Pros The software makes managing remote systems easier by supporting a lot of remote protocols like RDP, SSH, VNC and so on. It is packed with features like automatic logon and organizing entries. You can even save them to a database so you can share them with collegues. Cons The amount of features doesn't make the product easy to understand. I still have no clue which credentials are saved only for me, and which are visible for my collegues as well. Pros The wide support for systems/tunneling/protols/services is just breathtaking. On-prem servers (windows, linux), hypervisors (vmware, hyper-v, Xen and more), cloud storage services (dropbox, google drive, amazon S3, azure blobs), systems only reachable using VPN, no problem! Cons Its hard to find negatives, but there are some annoyances, sometimes managed systems disappears from the taskbar-icon making switching back to a system harder than it should have to be. We manage a worldwide network of customer and partners' machines, both virtual and real. It wouldn't be possible without a tool like this. Pros Once you have everything configured to your liking it is very easy to jump around to different machines, this is a life saver for any managed services organization. Connections to libraries simplify management, important commands like sending CTR-ALT-DELETE are here, managing a mix of virtual machines and steel boxes is possible and easy to do. Cons Out of the box you may need to arrange and configured everything to your liking. This can take some time however it is worth doing. If you start out organized, this software can make your like much easier. Pros RDP, SSH, VNC, Web and other protocols in a single tool; Credentials also managed (and imports or manage other tools too); Security groups for the entries; Automations per entries; Auto login; Record everything in files or Databases; Audit access; Cons Slow to open sometimes.
