Pros When looking around for a platform to develop my on-line gallery, several products were suggested through the photographic community, but Pixpa received numerous positive comments about it's adaptability, functionality, and ease of use. It was fun to use (and this from a non-techy individual) and when I hit a bump in the creative road, the customer service team at Pixpa were impressively responsive. Cons My needs are not that extensive, so I really didn't come across any "missing" functionality. I have by directories established, my travel blog updating, and all is well! I’ve always been super helpful and polite and at times I felt like they’ve gone out of their way to help me. Pros I looked at various different website building platforms and to be honest pixpa was the best I came across. I think the templates and layouts are great and it allows me to build the website I’m really happy with. I would also like to add that I think the customer service is amazing. Cons Obviously with any designing platform they’re always tiny tweaks you might change in design. January 17, 2023 5.0 I was really scared of building my website all on my own. I thought it had to be difficult and complicated and that I would get stuck. I found Pixpa and I really appreciated that there were 2 weeks free trial to see everything and try things around and then you can decide if you want to go on with your work. So it was no stress for me that I was choosing something that could not see the results yet. The process of building the website was easy and clear, there are all the instructions even in a written form, so I was really impressed I could build it myself without any particular difficulties. When something unusal appeared I contacted the customer care service and they were always super fast and helpful. The templates are really beautiful and giive you nice and tidy professional look. I am really happy with my choice.So my experience so far has been great and I would definitely recommend it to everyone! I do like having a completely customizing shopping cart. The price is very good, especially if you pay for the year. Pros Pixpa is easy enough to setup. The shopping cart is exactly what I was looking for. Easy to upload photos for use in website. The price is right. Cons A little confusing to navigate the site at first. It also includes client galleries. In the past I had to have 2 services, 1 for a website and another for client galleries. Now I can do all that with Pixpa. Cons It is not the most intuitive to use but once you figure out the tools and system it's fairly straightforward. I do wish it were a little more customizable but for the price you really can't beat it. The design interface is both frustrating and limited. That said, the support staff is AMAZING and when you can't figure something out or you can't get the controls to do what you want, they can often fix the issue for you behind the scenes. They also work hard at adding and updating features. I'm still working with the product, trying to build a new site, but it's slow going so far. I'm hoping to get to a final product. Pros The thing I like most is the range of features and the customer support is great. Cons The design interface is abysmal. I spend a LOT of time fighting with it. It’s the most user friendly and, overall, delivers a fabulous experience. Cons Sometimes the drag and drop feature doesn’t drag smoothly but I always get it to work. The builder is easier to use than most others. It had alot more versititly in setting up a print store as well which very much suited me. Pros \- drag and drop feature is exactly that - font options are several and really catchy - there's enough template to choose from and it's not like only 1-2 of them are interesting and the rest are just fillers Cons sometimes the sub pages load a bit slower but it could be attributed to the heavy size of the images i have on my website. i wish the page load speed would improve. i also hope in the future uploaded images can be zoomed into. currently that option is not available.
