I don't know how good its advanced features are as I don't need them. Pros It is easy to get up and running quicky with a style template that you can edit yourself if you want. It is not expensive compared with others buy you can exaand funtionality to match your needs. I loved the fact that I had support available to help me too. It made things easy and straightforward. Cons I am new to this tyoe of thing and honestly cannot think of any things I didn't like about it. If I did not like something customer support helped me fix it. April 15, 2025 5.0 I ahve been trying to conncet my domain.art to my bigcartel website for FOUR months because no one was helping me just giving me empty information as I am capable of updating a domain on my own. After I switched to PIxpa, there was a bit of back and forth from both my domain provider and receiving it here on PIxpa, but \[sensitive content hidden\] was able to finally connect it for me, and I could not be more grateful. Pros Pixpa is undoubtedly the best website builder, especially if you are an artist like me!! The templates are professional yet unique, and it is easy to navigate. It's confusing at first (like everything in this life is when you are learning something new lol), but after a while you get the jizz of it and it just flows! My favorite part of working with pixpa is the Chat feature at the bottom right corner. The assistants are the nicest people ever and they tend to respond extremely fast!! If you need guided assistance, they provide videos showcasing step by step, which I found to be extremely helpful. Thank you, and I highly recommend Pixpa to you all! Cons The fact that when you change one setting for a text in one page, it changes for all of them as well. Same as the colors of text, sometimes I would type out a big chunk of text that remained invisible on one page but not the others, but it was simply the fact that it was blending with the background. The live support chat is just that-- it's a real person with real answers. I'm not stuck in AI hell, I get a quick response, and I can get the answers I need so I can get my work done. I get the feeling they genuinely want to help and will get the answers you need. They're also responsive to feature requests and based on their responses to my suggestions (and implementations!) it's clear that they care about the product and are trying to make and maintain a top-tier product. Pros First-- I hardly ever offer reviews for services, products, or companies. I'm of the opinion that if a companie's products and services are good enough, they'll stand the test of time regardless how many reviews they can manage to pull together and show the world. But I'm making an exception in this case because of the exceptional products and services that Pixpa brings to the table. I'm a photographer, and I've self hosted my work in the past using my domain provider using Wordpress. It worked. Sort of. But only after fighting with the software and the interface till I was ready to rip the code through the screen. There was no support to speak of because it was Wordpress and the provider was a large scale hosting company. At some point I realized there had to be a better way and started looking around. There was Squarespace and Wix and a bunch of others, but somehow tripped over Pixpa and what they could offer for basically the same price that I was already paying. Short story long-- the design tools and the UI is Intuitive, Consistent, and... I don't use this term lightly, Usable. So much so that I was willing to chuck the Wordpress site wholesale. So much time lost... As to the services, help, and support, this is why I'm bothering to write this review. The live support chat is just that-- it's a real person with real answers. I'm not stuck in AI hell, I get a quick response, and I can get the answers I need so I can get my work done. I get the feeling they genuinely want to help and will get the answers you need. They're also responsive to feature requests and based on their responses to my suggestions (and implementations!) it's clear that they care about the product and are trying to make and maintain a top-tier product. Bonus round that the online search Help really is helpful. Put in a keyword and more often than not it will show you what section you want to be in to make the changes you want. I did a lot of research and explored many options. Pixpa was the best fit for me and I have been very happy with the experience so far! Pros \- More affordable!! This was my #1 consideration since I'm a new business owner. - Easy to get up and running quickly. My website was up (though very bare) within a day. - Very responsive tech support & customer service. So helpful & nice. They really care about users and want people to be able to create a website they love!! - Pretty customizable. I've found I can achieve almost everything I want to with my website quite easily. There were only a few times so far that something hasn't been doable (or is too much effort for what it's worth). - Nice templates with a variety of themes/looks so you don't need to start from scratch. - Only a small Pixpa watermark at the bottom of the site. I've seen others that have huge "Website created by X company" watermarks that I find super distasteful. Cons \- No free tier (they do have a free trial though) - Galleries are not very customizable yet. This is my biggest disappointment since galleries are key to artist websites. Would love to see the features expanded because it would make the site PERFECT for what I use it for. - Learning curve for anything more than the basics. Some features can be tricky to find and understand. The studio has some quirks. Once you know how to navigate & make changes efficiently, it becomes very powerful though. Pixpa provides well designed templates where layout, fonts and colours (to name a few) can be adjusted in Pixpa's own dashboard at a fair price. Pros I was able to create a nice and professional looking website for the client. As with everything there was a learning curve to familiarize myself with Pixpa's dasboard at the beginning. But there's an extensive knowledge base and above all the support staff ist always very responsive and helpful via integrated chat. Cons As with most cloud services there is a certain 'lock in' by using Pixpa in the sense that it would probably be very difficult or near impossible to migrate/export the data to another service in the future. However, I am not thinking about this at all, because I am very happy with the service. Pros I really like how easily a template can be adjusted to your own needs and how easy is to integrate a custom css. I also can say that support is so easy to approach and you get a reply within 5 minutes and you get the help. I used support chat a few times and it was extremely helpful. I also like the price/quality - it is definitely a big point for me, especially being a student. Cons The mount of fonts - would be nice to have more options. Sometimes it´s hard to adjust gallery options without inserting custom css even though there are many gallery layouts.
