The pricing plan is one of the most affordable on the market and it gets the job done. The templates are also clean with several options to choose from. You can then customise pages to your own preference. Overall, I'll recommend this to anyone who needs a website of their own. Cons The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the mobile layout couldn't automatically resize horizontal photos. I had to create a different gallery banner specifically for the mobile layout which made it a bit inconvenient. I hope Pixpa would work on this soon as there are increasingly more leads/clients/editors who are viewing our websites from their phones and first impressions are important. Cons The video library is limited in the way it can be displayed. I would’ve preferred more options for it. Since the entire internet shifts more into video content. Customer service is amazing and able to solve most of your issues if you are not tech savvy! Also, It's great if your website is heavily dependent on photo contents! Pros I've tried both Wix and Pixpa and chose to remain with Pipxa because it's simpler for me to set up than their rival Wix. Another thing that amazed me was how quickly their customer support responded and always took care of the majority of my problems. Unlike rivals that take a long time to resolve issues and deploy AI system replies that are BS. That's the major reason I continue to support them today! Cons Lack of features for video contents (can only embed from Youtube) I hope they allow user to upload video to their own server? Maybe in the future! One of the best things of Pixpa has been the customer service, anytime I have an issue setting up a page they are easily reachable and return my text within 5 minutes. Pros One of the biggest pros of using pixpa is it's ability to add and manage photos. It makes them easy to upload, update, move around, and style. As well having the ability to share Client Galleries when you finish a project is a big seller. Cons Often times I find myself wanting to control my page moe by adding animations, moving something slightly rather than a lot, or being able to see my mobile changes. I am also very disappointed that the client galleries don't support videos. As a videographer I would like a clean way to share the final product and Pixpa does not yet offer that. Pros Pixpa seems to offer exactly what I need for a reasonable price. I used to pay double what I'm paying now for my Pixpa site for a service that offered less functionality, less customization, and capped the number of galleries I was allowed at much less than I'm getting with Pixpa. The templates are designed thoughtfully and are very dynamic - there is plenty you can do with your website. Cons The website builder tool has a lot to offer, but at times I feel it could use more drag-and-drop functionality. I had to manually transfer blog content by more than hundred posts. But after trying it I decided to do it and spend so many hours. Most important to me is the 1st line support you get. Literally, every time I use chat support I get a response in less than 5 minutes. Even if my issue needs more time and an expert to look after it, I always get a response when there is one, and even if this needs more time or days, I have the feeling and the confidence that someone is looking after it. A recent example, I asked something about blog posts sorting (sort by publish date) and I got a response that this is going to be listed as a feature request but of course, no one knows if and when it is going to be implemented. And after a couple of days, I got an email saying that the feature was implemented for anyone! Pretty impressive. Pros Value for money service. Easy to use. Dedicated features for photographers (online store, client galleries) and excellent support. Cons I would like more features and freedom in the blog editor (multiple galleries in a post, better control of single images insert, not to be limited to use the gallery at the end of the post). The only thing I would like to see changed would be the ability to "drag and drop" boxes. titles, etc. to work around the photographs on my website. Pros Once you figure out the software it's quite easy to use. Their tech support is AMAZING and will help you along the way. I have found their built-in SEO features to help get my page to the first page of Google within a few months. Cons Definitely the customization of designs and templates. Often I feel stuck with their preset choices, so I build my own graphic in Canva and it never displays as nicely as the rest of the page. Overall the features are a little more limiting compared to other builders but I needed a more affordable and functional website with online galleries. It’s the most user friendly in terms of builders that use templates and have limitations on customization compared to others and it’s much more affordable with quick customer service. Cons The limitations on customization as I am used to using builders that allow full drag and drop in any space of the page and at any size. The font limitations also need improvement. Pros I love how easy it was to use. I was able to make an entire website in one day! There online "help" center answers most questions and then their customer service was great at answering additional questions in mostly real time! My old website started losing functionality and the company I had it with would never help. This is by far the best feature for novice web designers! Cons So far I haven't had any! They even helped me launch the site so that it would be done correctly with my existing domain name and previous hosting company. Cons Some of my mirrorless cameras have a feature that offers pop-up tutorials for you as you are just learning your new camera's features... you can shut it off after you know what you're doing... something like that as an option would be good.
