We've been with HubSpot for over 2+ years and we've been satisfied with the current usage (based on our size)

Pros

Super easy to set up with minimal customization. Low cost and setup fees, which makes it ideal for early stage startups.

Cons

User interface and UX is often clunky to use an not very intuitive. Often difficult to search for granular information and get to the contacts you need to get to.

HubSpot's CRM is easy to use and easy to understand. This is what I like about HubSpot. Once you become more of an enterprise level though, solutions like Salesforce is probably the better choice.

Pros

I like how easy it is to get set up with HubSpot where it bring value immediately. Although the CMS feature within HubSpot is a bit cumbersome to work with, it's still a nice feature that's embedded within a CRM.

Cons

I don't like that HubSpot can't be HIPAA compliant! We are having to spend a lot more money on solutions like Salesforce that can be HIPAA compliant. It causes a divide between the 2 CRM systems.

Pros

Template emails are helpful. Ability to see opens, clicks, etc. is helpful.

Cons

Poor filter options in the "Tasks" view. Phone time tracking is poor. No Time Zone indicator for early or late calling. No dial pad unless I create a contact. Contacts, Companies, Deals, and Tasks have to be managed from 4 lists when could be rolled into one, this creates redundancy. Businesses using Hubspot to eliminate the crucial role of a Sales Development Rep./Junior Sales Rep. Very buggy working between GSuite with regard to emailing (constantly having to reconnect in Gmail) and copy/pasting fonts, etc.

As a small company with a lean team, Hubspot has really helped us to better understand our contact database and speak to them more effectively.

Pros

Hubspot gives us a great all-in-one view of everything going on with our customers and prospects. Plus, it's super user-friendly once you get it up and running. The functionality is robust, and the customer service is super helpful.

Cons

For more detailed or obscure needs, it can be a little tricky to figure out how to do what you're trying to do. Fortunately, their support can help walk through any quandaries!

I have thoroughly enjoyed HubSpot. It makes my day to day life much more efficient so I can focus on my clients versus manually tracking communication in an Excel spreadsheet.

Pros

The ability to log and track emails, and to see how many times a client opens an email. I also love the ability to create and use templates/sequences for greater efficiency.

Cons

Wish we could add more than 4 filters to our favorites list, or the ability to track texts.

Overall, HubSpot is a great marketing tool that can keep track of your customer/donor preferences. When used correctly, HubSpot can take a lot of guesswork out of who you're targeting.

Pros

HubSpot's ease of use is its best feature. You can build webpages quickly, copying templates of previously created pages. For marketers, this tool will allow you to find out who is opening your emails and see click through rates.

Cons

HubSpot can connect with many CRMs but not ours. It would be better if they built more APIs to connect with lesser-known CRMS or offered it for a fee. We have to copy information from HubSpot to our CRM if we want it added.

Building our entire CRM with HubSpot is easy and it has everything you would need from a CRM and more. Highly recommend.

Pros

Email tracking, UI is appealing, task manager, and the ease of adding users to add to the CRM. Web based so can get in anywhere, and their mobile app is incredibly easy to use.

Cons

Seems like they could improve the efficiency of the website but overall it encapsulates everything you could want and more for a CRM.

Overall I am pleased with HubSpot. I haven't had to call in for tech support, but I did use the tech support chat option on their website and it was very helpful.

Pros

The thing I like most about Hubspot is the teams feature allowing me to add users to my business CRM.

Cons

The thing I liked least about the CRM was that I had to use Zapier to link to other platforms that we use. But overall it worked.

Reason for choosing HubSpot CRM

We chose Hubspot over other CRM's because it offers the teams feature and the price point was reasonable.

I am solving the issue of not knowing if a customer or supplier has received or opened an email that has been sent. I also get alerts each time when the email is opened as well as the time.

Pros

I like the capability of this software to allow the sender to see when emails that were sent are opened

Cons

The one think I like least is that if you send an email to more than one person, you dont know exactly who opened it, it just tells you it was opened.

The user interface is absolutely intuitive. It integrates seamlessly with Gmail, Chrome, iOs and AndroidOs. Makes tracking calls, emails and notes actually useful. Metrics are easily accesible.

Cons

Is not able to make calls to any country. Integration with Whatsapp is not native.

Pros

\- Email tracking and follow up. Great to see when people open your email and how effective it is. - Automatically building in company information. Example - description, year founded, approx. # of employees - Connectivity to Gmail - Analytics and tracking of emails Excellent customer support and learning opportunities.

Cons

\- It is difficult to edit contacts on the site. If you need to edit a group of contacts you need to download the spreadsheet, edit, and re-upload - It is freemium. They are going to charge you for the features you want and need.

Pros

Tons of features, easy sales management, client billing and website integration.

Cons

HubSpot is NOT for small businesses. It's way too expensive and they are too big to provide personal assistance to small businesses. Very impersonal.

Overall, it's been a great tool to grow our business and as the product and deals functionalities continue to grow, it could potentially replace our order management programs

Pros

Customer service is fantastic, even for small issues or questions about use - they'll even follow up to make sure you figured it out. It's relatively user friendly with lots of blogs and education available to learn how to use it effectively. There are continual improvements to make it a more inclusive program

Cons

The newsletter editing tool is frustrating and I find myself re-doing edits or changing my layout because I can't make it worth within the tool.

Hubspot has truly made the difference in how we do business. It is so easy to show a new employee how to use the system, and once they understand how it helps them close more deals, they are hooked!!

Pros

Clean easy to use interface. Easy to customize to your business. Great "help" topics for finding the answer to any of your questions. Love the email open notifications, this has made prospecting so much easier!!

Cons

There are so many offerings in the program, it can be overwhelming to a small business where you can wear many hats. For instance, we don't have a true marketing dept. so some of the terms can be confusing for a novice.

Overall, it is like having an extra employee. There are a lot of "set it and forget it" features that work for you.

Pros

Features are very intuitive and helpful. I like the automations, the templates and the scheduling features. It is almost like having an assitant.

Cons

A little hard to learn and setup but the more I learn, the more I like the software. I can't say much bad its been great.

We're able to get all customers in one place. We're still trying to figure out the very best way to get things configured. HubSpot's sales process is quite formal and restrictive - they will definitely only give you the training time you paid for!

Pros

I love having everything in one place - prospects, existing customers, reminders to respond to folks, meeting appointments, etc.

Cons

There are some growing pains. For instance, it is difficult to have someone's Contact info mirror to their Contact or Deal info. There are some different selections for one, but not the others.

Pros

This CRM is so simple and intuitive that your sales team will love using this! It brings in data from the Internet so you don't have to enter in all prospect and client information. This CRM is built around how your sales team works, not forcing you to change how you work to fit your CRM.

Cons

My current employer uses SalesForce. :( Sometimes the system can pull in a phone number or email address that isn't really the one you want.

### "Free CRM: Can't Get Better Than That"

We've had good experience with HubSpot and everyone in the team seems to have been able to get used to its basic free features easily. Only thing is that this is the only thing it can do for us, so we might switch to Wix which we use for our website at the same time it also can support the CRM features we require.

Pros

HubSpot is free for most of the basic marketing needs. We used HubSpot for marketing in the new and upcoming West Coast Arena Football league. As we were met with the pandemic before we could even start our season, we had top find ways where we could keep expenses to a bare minimum. HubSpot gave us a great deal of value in our marketing efforts without having to spend a lot. At the same time, we are able to do marketing at the comforts and safety of our homes! I specially love the email marketing -- a lot better than the old-fashioned mass email (mail merge) feature of Microsoft office. Plus the fact that it is license-free.

Cons

Most features are limited in the free version. They showcase such features but of course, will only be activated with payment - which is fine since this is how their income flows in, I suppose. Also, the email we sed out has HubSpot ads at the bottom.

It is efficient in e mail marketing and easy to adapt to multiple strategies and scenarios

Pros

Strong in process automation, many new features arise recently (deal workflows for instance)

Cons

Some selection criteria are present in list (last 60 days) and not in views, and viceversa; Dashboards are very limitated in depth (just 2 properties can be seen at once, no calculated fields, impossible to use correctly list memberships as part of a chart); Multi check box properties require a wf to correctly append a tag, otherwise bulk edits will delete old tags saved in it.

Cons

There's so support for the free plan and the pricing are a bit confusing. You can assign only one email to a contact so it's a big limitation in my opinion
