### "Not suited for small business"

April 4, 2025

1.0

Read the small print before you sign anything.

Pros

I cannot think of any positives. But I honestly wish I had liked it, as they charged me all year.

Cons

Their contract and sales people are duplicitous. Make sure you turn off all the automated charge renewals, or yould be stuck for another year. The would not let me cancel my contract even though even their rep believes it was the wrong program for my business.

### "Best For Scaling Small Business RevOps"

February 15, 2024

5.0

We are excited to keep trying new features on HubSpot that continue to augment our marketing and sales processes. Our team is gearing up this first quarter to implement there new AI integration into our business processes, excited for the year ahead!

Pros

There are so many features that have been added on throughout the last few years, and we think AI is going to augment that. The most important process is moving leads down the pipeline for us with different automations, and assigning different team members self-qualified leads that can book calls through the HubSpot calendar. Apart from automations we are also very happy with how the Hubspot chat features connects to other social networks, critical for connecting leads to sales and customers to support.

Cons

Lead capture feature isn't as flexible as other form competitors like TypeForm, it would be nice to have a component that didn't initially overwhelm visitors with the input fields.

### "Hubspot CRM for the pro..."

January 15, 2023

4.0

my overall experience is satisfactory because I have adopted the crm and I use it on a daily basis

Pros

CRM tools make it easy to add your contact's data and automatically record associated sales activities. Tracking leads is simple with automatic monitoring of calls, emails, appointments, and notes. You can also view the history of all interactions with your customers and leads, and use this data to create and close more deals through targeted campaigns.

Cons

While HubSpot is relatively user-friendly compared to other software, it still requires some time to fully master and utilize its full potential. Without this investment, you may not achieve the optimal results you are looking for.

### "Indispensable CRM"

June 15, 2022

5.0

My overall experience with HubSpot CRM is very positive. It has everything I need\` and lots of functions I'll need when business is bigger.

Pros

The ease with which I can segment my contacts and see easily who needs to be contacted, when and about what.

Cons

There can be a lot of setting-up with the software, which is a bit of a time-suck, but is actually worth the effort of doing properly.

Reason for choosing HubSpot CRM

It fits my business and has great reviews, which isn't at all surprising, really. Here's another one!

It has been a great experience overall. At times challenging but there support has always been quick to responded and they are incredibly knowledgable and helpful

Pros

They offer support through integration and their chat/email/phone support is the best! It has been easy to bring everyone up to speed and has been widely adopted across our team.

Cons

There are certain features you think would already be within HubSpot like customizing quotes but they are not. However, they are good about responding to ideas and keeping you up to date with future releases

Pros

### "Good investment "

May 14, 2022

4.0

Overall Hubspot is a good investment for any companies who are looking for good return for mid tier investment, even an new user can easily learn and setup custom record fields or workflows as an administrator.

Pros

User friendly is the key reason why Hubspot is been loved, the most impactful features include Hubspot insights on lead/ company record management and the ability to manage all relevant records such as meetings, calls, notes can be managed in the same view. Other reason to vow Hubspot is it’s workflow capabilities, we can choose custom fields to create workflows which saves a lot of time, and the integration is enabled for vast variety of business apps

Cons

Hubspot is good at meeting all basic requirements by a sales and marketing team but do defiantly has some room for improvements in terms of integration if you expect advanced features or custom solution specifically for your company. For example if you want to change a lead source of record based on integration, Hubspot doesn’t has this feature unless you can match a field or trigger point in workflows

### "A must have for any business!"

September 25, 2018

5.0

Overall, I would definitely recommend Hubspot to any business who wants to keep records of client data and communication.

Pros

This software has made my life so much easier! With automatic email logging and the ability to make notes, log phone calls and other important documents, Hubspot keeps all of my important information in one place. Hubspot gives me the ability to store all my clients details, their company details and all my communication with them in one bit of software. This makes it easy to look back over whenever I need to and keep up to date with what's going on. Hubspot also has the ability to have multiple team members within one account. Although this isn't something I use currently, it is something I have used in the past. This feature is wonderful for all team members to see emails both incoming and outgoing from customers / clients and is a life saver for looking back over email / telephone communications say if a team member is off ill and their client needs looking after for a few days. Hubspot has also been updated to comply with GDPR standards. A key positive for Hubspot for me is the knowledge that my collected data will stay in Hubspot for as long as I keep the software. As I am looking to take on employees within the next year, these new team members will be able to learn about exiting customers / clients through the information stored in Hubspot.

Cons

It can be a little pricy for individuals. Personally, I went back to the free plan after not feeling I got my moneys worth out of the more advanced plan. Hubspot doesn't always integrate with other software you may have, or sometimes it will integrate but not as well as you would like. I use Spark email for OS. Although Hubspot does still track my outgoing and incoming email, if I BCC clients into an email, this isn't tracked in Hubspot. This can be a little annoying but it's not a deal breaker for me.

Hubspot is easy to get started. Integration with external products like ZoomInfo, MailChimp, etc is very easy and helpful. New employees can get hang of it within a day. I got up to 90% discount on first year

Pros

For our efforts in digital marketing, we have used HubSpot to track prospects, create growth programmes, and create lead generation forms. For HubSpot, we have also created specialised applications and interfaces. I love the Company page and Deals page

### "Easy and cost efficient way to get started - solid functionality"

August 11, 2021

4.0

Overall HubSpot was an easy and free way to get started with a CRM. Salesforce is expensive and may not be necessary at the outset, HubSpot is a way to address all issues a salesperson needs when getting started without having to worry about cost, a key issue at the time of your company formation.

Pros

Cost is great, free to get started with a low number of users. It actually delivers high value overall regardless of cost. The system has a wide variety of functionality, yet is well thought out. The way the deal pipeline is constructed allows for the flexibility in how you can label and name your deal stages and how many you want to create. The drag and drop interface is intuitive, but a little slow. Fields for individual users were customizable and overall HubSpot allows for a lot of flexibility.

Cons

Managing the deal pipeline can be cumbersome, difficult to read the titles of the deals when there are many of them, and the responsiveness of the platform could be improved a bit. The drag and drop isn't always responsive and can be very slow.

### "The best way to keep in touch with your customers"

June 30, 2022

5.0

As a small business, managing my customers has become easier with HubSpot. Everything which I need for customer relationship management is offered by the software. I especially love the lead management feature because that is exactly what a business needs to grow and I can safely say, it has made a huge difference in the relationship which I have with my customers and clients.

Pros

HubSpot CRM is really great because it furnishes my business with a straight forward and powerful software. It has provided me with a robust digital marketing instrument and an arsenal of tools which I can effectively use for sales and customer service. I love how it comes with a lightweight, yet proficient free starter plan for those who might want to take it for a test drive and see how it operates. The subscription model is great as it is divided in tiers so one can purchase a subscription which suits their budget and get features included in that tier. It offers a simple user interface and setting up and maintaining the software is trouble-free. Ever since I started using the software, attracting prospects is no longer a challenge, I am also able to to get business growth strategies through various marketing techniques. With the lead management feature, I can acquire and manage potential clients or custormers effortlessly. In addition to this, the software enables me to schedule appointments and or schedule a client with an advisor. The email management option helps me to send, reply track and organize emails all at once which improves customer service while saving me time. A combination of all these features and more makes me feel really satisfied with the software.

Cons

I have noticed that some features require an upgrade which can become costly for small businesses. In addition to this, the free tier does not come with some automations. Lastly, it would have been nice if they offered a reccuring task option as it would aid in prompting a user to follow up with clients regularly thus the reminder feature leaves much to be desired.

### "Hubspot CRM Review the most versatile CRM"

April 2, 2022

I am solving the following business problems with Hubspot CRM:- 1) Lead Management. 2) Customer Management. 3) Live Chat. Benefits which I have realized using Hubspot CRM are as such:- 1) Easy to take over and interact with the Live Chat option. 2) Conversion rate has increased with the help of Live Chat option.

Pros

Features which are most impactful for our business:- 1) Live chat option 2) Lead Management 3) Customer Management Yes, this product is very easy to use. Community support and Hubspot Academy our best friends for learning more about Hubspot. Integration with our business was easy, though we have used third party tool aka Zapier.

Cons

As we are on the evaluation verstion of Hubspot ( which is performing very well) based on that I can say that there is no difficulty or anything which I have found missing but yes there are few scopes of improvement like having automation canvas to be more easier just like ActiveCampaign or Zoho Campaigns. there is no any aspect of the product which I have found difficult to use. Integration with my Business was easy but I have to use the third party tool zapier to parse the chat data that is being sent to my email.

### "Easy to Use Popular CRM for Small Businesses"

May 16, 2022

5.0

Hubspot CRM is an awesome CRM that I have set up for many of my clients with small businesses. It is easy to deploy, implement and maintain. It is also easy to teach to clients and there is low learning time. While not the most powerful CRM, it is surely the best CRM for small businesses. I highly recommend Hubspot CRM to every small business.

Pros

The best thing about Hubspot is that it's a very popular CRM software so if you run into any problems - you can easily find someone to help you. Also, there are a lot of tutorials available online from where one can easily learn Hubspot CRM. Another thing that I like very much about Hubspot CRM is that it has a free plan which can be highly beneficial for small businesses and startups. Even the free plan is competitive with paid plans of other CRMs. Another pro about Hubspot CRM is its intuitive workflow and user interface that makes it very easy to learn and use. Hubspot CRM is the easiest CRM I have ever used - even someone with below-average knowledge can use Hubspot easily with proper training. Also, there are a lot of integrations available like WordPress integration which is very useful for small businesses.

Cons

There aren't many advanced features available with Hubspot CRM so it may not be very useful for large businesses. Also, there is a free plan and there is quite an expensive plan - I wish there was something in the middle as not everyone can afford it. However, one can start with a free plan and move to a paid plan when needed so that's a plus.

### "HB works just as expected!"

Good value for money and great to use with a start up that wants to grow at it's own pace.

Pros

We started small and were able to use for free, rates where good and support service nicely up t standard as we grew and needed more functionality. At first you of course don't want to pay for software that is for free at the start but after receiving the extra care and options, we were very happy with teh results.

Cons

We had to get used to the American approache but once we did we became much more efficient in our sales department, management got a much better insight!

Reason for choosing HubSpot CRM

### "Hubspot is amazing value"

July 26, 2022

5.0

We often cant get our whole team together at the same time, so being able to log in and see where each team member is at with building relationships is really effective. It makes remote work easier as we all have access, and it also stops difference members of staff from accidently contacting the same person. No more storing data in spreadsheets HURRAH!

Pros

I like that there is a free version, we are a non profit so having software that is easy to use and inexpensive is a must. We don't use the software for sales but for tracking donations/relationships. The user experience is good, and it is easy to train people on. You enter data using drop downs and tick boxes which keep data good. You can set required fields too so you aren't missing data. Names can be typed in manually and you can search for individuals easily with filters and the search bar.

Cons

We haven't come across any cons, just that we haven't had time to look into email marketing using this platform.

Good not great. If you are not enterprise with a custom build out then it will be the same as every other system where you limp along with 4 different systems for accomplishing 2 tasks.

Pros

The lead and deal flows were the only thing worth really paying for. The full database management was not much better than an excel sheet for my use case because client data was static for months or years at a time.

Cons

### "Great for Sales and Support, but lacking in Marketing tooling"

December 13, 2022

4.0

Pros

I do like how easy it is for our support team to communicate with partners and create support articles. It is fairly seamless and easy to track. Our sales team utilizes it as well, which seems to be very helpful. As a part of our marketing team, I have had some experience using this tool within those other two realms, and I believe it is very useful in that context. Overall I think this is a great and powerful tool to have.

Cons

I really dislike the marketing tools I need and use most. HubSpot has a great foundation for email marketing and social media. However, it seems there are great limitations to both. For social media there are really great insights being tracked, but I wish I were able to preschedule all of our posts, but we aren't able to with certain types (think carousel). And really my biggest pain point is with the marketing email manager. Is is so painfully limited that it is very difficult to get the email to feel like our brand without making it into a full image. The columns are not very customizable and If we are utilizing images or icons, forget about it. Footer settings are restrictive unless you build one out. Typography has little to no choices or requires a lot of upkeep. The entire email tooling is not at all intuitive or smooth to use. I do appreciate other tools HubSpot offers, but because of this one major pain point, I wish I could house emails somewhere else.

I love using HubSpot, and I like that it is a powerful tool for our students to learn before they get their first position in tech sales.

Pros

HubSpot can do every part of the sales process, from marketing doing social media and cold outreach, to tracking an inbound lead through the cycle until it closes, or it is lost.

Cons

Because HubSpot does so many things, it does take a bit to learn all of the things it does and how to manage deals.

### "Surely it can do that? "

October 14, 2021

1.0

Pros

This review relates solely to Hubspot's Sales module, and not the Marketing package. Our small business utilises Hubspot for lead management and conversion tracking - I can't speak to Hubspot's other functionalities in the marketing field. Hubspot's Sales free and growth bundles are great value; offering start-up businesses with the basic tools required for recording correspondence with leads and tracking conversions. However...

Cons

As your business grows you naturally seek out greater efficiencies achieved through CRM automation services (e.g. automated follow-up emails to stay front of mind with prospects) - it's at this point you upgrade to the costly Professional package because the business case stacks up, right? This is where Hubspot falls over. Everything (I cannot iterate this enough, literally everything) you would logically expect the software to support or enable isn't available. Credit to them, their support function does try to help but they are severally handcuffed by the limitations imposed by backend engineers and software architects. The tech supports can only try to provide convoluted/half baked work around solutions but often these result in additional implications and barriers downstream. The nail in the coffin for our business was when we tried to setup automated email sequences (a 101), but learnt that you cannot enrol contacts into these processes when sending emails 'from' the shared/team/company email (e.g. sales@... or info@...) - rather, Hubspot requires users to send from their individual email (e.g. john@business.com) Have you ever corresponded with any business via a personalised email address? Whether I'm communicating with the local mechanic or Apple, I never email \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] You engage with a shared mailbox e.g. sales or support or info@apple... It's no brainers like this that force you to question Hubspot's services.

### "Very reliable CRM with bonus features."

March 22, 2022

I have had a great time with HubSpot. I especially like the new Tickets function. It allows us to communicate tasks as a team and see where we need to go next on a project from anywhere.

Pros

I like how I can use this CRM on my mobile device, desktop, or tablet. I can keep track of my leads from anywhere, update the team with new information, and check on leads in multiple ways. Very efficient and super reliable with real time updates.

Cons

Sometimes I think there are too many notifications. I would like if it was a bit easier to understand which notifications I am allowing and maybe even silence a few so that I am notified without interrupting my work day.

### "A potentially excellent business suite that is hobbled by its numerous pay walls."

March 25, 2021

4.0

Hubspot has a great starter plan that resembles the software mechanics of "free to play" games. The user interface, integrations, email marketing, contact tracking are all top-notch. As long as your contact list is small, your email marketing frequency is sparse, and you don't need automations, you are good to go. However, as your business grows, your contact list will swell up, your email marketing frequency will increase, and the sheer scale will make automations a must. So what is the problem? Let me give you a quick rundown of the costs involved, using 2000 contacts as a baseline: 1) You can start with Free CRM (0$ per month) 2) Once you need a few features, then you upgrade to Growth Starter suite, which is $67 per month, or $804 per year. 3) However, once you need automations, you must upgrade to professional growth suite, which is currently at $1253 a month, with a 12-month commitment, and a $3500 onboarding fee, which means your yearly costs balloons to $18536. I do not think there is any startup or early business that can afford to increase its marketing and CRM suite costs by 2300%. Most businesses must make the painful decision to abandon Hubspot and find new CRM suites which much more reasonable cost escalations. By then, you lost 1 to 2 months migrating, learning the new tools and onboarding your team. In all, a great tool for enterprises. Small businesses and startups, just stay way. You will end up regretting it just as your business begins to take off.

Pros

The email marketing tool is very robust, almost as good as Mailchimp (but falling short in design options). The ability to upload PDFs and other documents brings two benefits: not having to re-edit permalinks when you do file changes and, most important of all, tracking. Hubspot allows you to track document opens, which is useful to measure lead engagement and segment further. The service ticket is very good and allows and admin to track the team. The CRM app is as good as any other. The Gmail add-on is great for tracking, as is the Outlook plug-in. However, at my time of use, the outlook plugin was only available for Windows. Customer support was top-notch, too. The few times I had some issues, I had access to a huge library of FAQs sites, and the chat support was quick as well. They do tend to try to upsell you some features while they help you, but it is not too naggy.

Cons

The amount of emails you can send is directly related to how many contacts you have. If you send a lot of them per month, you will need to increase your contact list to twice of what you have, just to be able to send more marketing campaigns. Business who send heavily segmented mails depend on this for dear life.

### "One of the best and affordable CRM tools"

July 9, 2023

5.0

Pros

I like the lead capture feature because it saves a lot of time. Hubspot is a great CRM tool and more affordable than some of its competitors with a wide range of features.

Cons

It could be more intuitive to use. Some features remain unused because there's not enough clarity on how well the product can be used.
