### "Cost is high but plug and go solution for CRM and Marketing "

August 23, 2022

I love the customer services, knowledge base system, and the clean look

Pros

No Need to Build much- You pay for implementation if you don't know how to set things up. If you want to learn more and become certified - hubspot offers this for FREE

Cons

Cost - you pay marketing per a record. Each package cost too and you cannot pick and choose so some things you will use and others you will not

### "Very reliable CRM with bonus features."

March 22, 2022

5.0

I have had a great time with HubSpot. I especially like the new Tickets function. It allows us to communicate tasks as a team and see where we need to go next on a project from anywhere.

Pros

I like how I can use this CRM on my mobile device, desktop, or tablet. I can keep track of my leads from anywhere, update the team with new information, and check on leads in multiple ways. Very efficient and super reliable with real time updates.

Cons

Sometimes I think there are too many notifications. I would like if it was a bit easier to understand which notifications I am allowing and maybe even silence a few so that I am notified without interrupting my work day.

### "A potentially excellent business suite that is hobbled by its numerous pay walls."

March 25, 2021

4.0

Hubspot has a great starter plan that resembles the software mechanics of "free to play" games. The user interface, integrations, email marketing, contact tracking are all top-notch. As long as your contact list is small, your email marketing frequency is sparse, and you don't need automations, you are good to go. However, as your business grows, your contact list will swell up, your email marketing frequency will increase, and the sheer scale will make automations a must. So what is the problem? Let me give you a quick rundown of the costs involved, using 2000 contacts as a baseline: 1) You can start with Free CRM (0$ per month) 2) Once you need a few features, then you upgrade to Growth Starter suite, which is $67 per month, or $804 per year. 3) However, once you need automations, you must upgrade to professional growth suite, which is currently at $1253 a month, with a 12-month commitment, and a $3500 onboarding fee, which means your yearly costs balloons to $18536. I do not think there is any startup or early business that can afford to increase its marketing and CRM suite costs by 2300%. Most businesses must make the painful decision to abandon Hubspot and find new CRM suites which much more reasonable cost escalations. By then, you lost 1 to 2 months migrating, learning the new tools and onboarding your team. In all, a great tool for enterprises. Small businesses and startups, just stay way. You will end up regretting it just as your business begins to take off.

Pros

The email marketing tool is very robust, almost as good as Mailchimp (but falling short in design options). The ability to upload PDFs and other documents brings two benefits: not having to re-edit permalinks when you do file changes and, most important of all, tracking. Hubspot allows you to track document opens, which is useful to measure lead engagement and segment further. The service ticket is very good and allows and admin to track the team. The CRM app is as good as any other. The Gmail add-on is great for tracking, as is the Outlook plug-in. However, at my time of use, the outlook plugin was only available for Windows. Customer support was top-notch, too. The few times I had some issues, I had access to a huge library of FAQs sites, and the chat support was quick as well. They do tend to try to upsell you some features while they help you, but it is not too naggy.

Cons

The amount of emails you can send is directly related to how many contacts you have. If you send a lot of them per month, you will need to increase your contact list to twice of what you have, just to be able to send more marketing campaigns. Business who send heavily segmented mails depend on this for dear life.

### "One of the best and affordable CRM tools"

July 9, 2023

5.0

Pros

I like the lead capture feature because it saves a lot of time. Hubspot is a great CRM tool and more affordable than some of its competitors with a wide range of features.

Cons

It could be more intuitive to use. Some features remain unused because there's not enough clarity on how well the product can be used.

### "Can't think of a better CRM for our sales operations"

October 3, 2023

5.0

Hubspot completely transformed our sales operations. Thanks to it, we've been able to save thousands of hours from manual and repetitive tasks. It's also given us one platform to monitor the A-Z of our sales operations. All in all, it'll definitely boost your organization if you don't already have a CRM.

Pros

I think being able to use the hundreds of standard and custom properties when setting up automated workflows is probably the most powerful feature. That way, not only are you able to automate a truckload of work, but you can also use your own properties to find workarounds for stuff that's not already available

Cons

The only thing I didn't like is not being able to enroll contacts in sequences with the "send as contact owner" token. It's a relatively tiny issue but still would be good to get fixed.

### "This is a decent CRM"

HubSpot improves sales tracking and management of pipeline. It definitely does the job, but could improve some features.

Pros

It is easy to use, it has great navigation and adequate functionalities.

Cons

I think the search option could be much better. It gives sometimes mixed results and the user is unable to find email sent to the client by its content.

### "HubSpot Partner Agency's Honest Review of the HubSpot CRM"

December 13, 2017

5.0

Time, Insights and the most personalized communications with any Sales Qualified Leads assigned to me. I can see what website pages they have viewed, the emails they opened or click on, the content offers they have downloaded, their social media profiles and their company information. This is really useful when you are trying to reach a contact but not come across as "salesy" or "sleazy." You can tailor your outreach to the things you know they are most interested in because the gives you all that information in one single Contact Record. The tracking capabilities are as great as the HubSpot Marketing Platform's tracking capabilities. This makes the entire cycle of creating brand awareness and expertise to increase your sales opportunities and customers, so simple and seamless. You can tie everything back to the overall ROI for your business, which is what most executives care about. They need bottom-line results, and the HubSpot CRM already provides you with these bottom line reports with charts, numbers and professional look.

Pros

I love how everything about a contact is all in one place. From the first moment, they visit your website, to every conversion they've made on your website, all contacts with the company they've had, any meetings, calls, or emails. It's all right there in the Contact Record of the CRM. This helps the marketing and sales team implement "Smarketing" in a seamless manner. Sales reps have all the marketing data in order to tailor their sales approach to a contact. Marketing has all the sales qualification necessities to add to their lead scoring system, so they can intelligently pass off marketing qualified leads to the sales team once they reach a specific score. It tracks all the sales representative's performance, interactions, productivity and more. This helps sales managers know what their team is doing and how well they are doing at all times. You also have a Deals section, where you can track all sales opportunities that have potential to become a customer and their path to either becoming a customer or a lost sales opportunity. That gives HubSpot the ability to better forecast your sales month-to-month for bottom line reports. I love how you can call a contact directly from their contact record in the CRM, record it, take notes, and see all the information in front of you while you're speaking to them. That helps sales professionals increase their sales calls productivity and outcomes. The can also integrate with your Gmail and Office 365.

Cons

The downside to the CRM is the limitation of integrating with your Gmail or Office 365. If you do not have your email or business hosted by Google/Gmail or Office 365, then it cannot fully integrate into your email system. The ability to have all the features of the right within your Inbox saves a lot of time and hassle of having to open up the HubSpot CRM and perform your tasks and communications there with a SQL. There's the option to use IMAP with Microsoft Exchange if your company is hosted by another platform but still uses Microsoft 16 Exchange for your email service. But the drawback to this is that it is a bumpy road to setting up, and you do not have all the features and capabilities that you would have normally with Office 365 and a Business Gmail Account. The price is also a common issue. HubSpot offers a free CRM but there are great limitations to this free CRM. It forces you to pay for the Sales Pro which is costly to add on to your other costs for the HubSpot platform such as the HubSpot CMS, MAP & Marketing. With that being said, there are other CRMs that integrate with the HubSpot platform as an alternative and cheaper solution to having a robust CRM. The best one I have seen accomplish this is the BlueCamroo CRM.

### "HubSpot CRM, an efficient tool to to maintain and get more clients."

September 8, 2022

5.0

This is a good software to boost our business and maintain it scaling. If you're not using this product I'd confidently invite you to try it, and see your business scale (this is relevant for both small and big businesses).

Pros

To begin with, It is important to know what is HubSpot. It is the core element of Hubspot itself. CRM stands for Customer Relationship Management. is hence an all-in-one kind of software that aims to manage all the customers of a given company in one space to increase sales. The things that you must like about this software are: - The interface is navigation-friendly with different tabs clearly distinguishable. We can easily navigate through them very smoothly and intuitively; - The Contacts tab is very important because this is where we can find all of our customers’ contacts. Every CRM software that I’ve stumbled upon revolves around its customers’ contacts. Its database is built around the clients’ contacts. With Hubspot CRM we can filter specific pieces of information about our clients that we want to display: By first names, by last names, or by emails exchanged in a defined period of time (for example, if we want to display only the contacts of clients that we have been exchanging emails with a month ago, we can do it); - The Conversations tab is where we can have conversations with our clients from different platforms; whether it is from our website, our Facebook account, or any other platform that is linkable to our Hubspot CRM inbox. So having all of our messages in one place is very easy to monitor and manage.

Cons

It would be good to improve the mobile version to make it as intuitive and smooth as the PC version.

### "Hubspot CRM- The OG of all the CRMs! "

March 19, 2022

4.0

Pros

The all-in-one CRM software which helps us streamline our marketing activities on a singe platform. Though there are many likeable features but let me list top 3 features which are game changer, according to me: 1) Lead workflow: We can actually set up the whole lead handling process on the hubspot platform. It makes SDRs life really easy when it comes to tracking leads activity and addressing it. 2) Email Campaigns: You can actually make landing pages and schedule Email campaigns easily. 3) Dashboards and Analytics: Intuitive dashboards can give you an overview of every success metrics and help you in optimizing the same going forward.

Cons

1) Price: It takes a huge chunk from our marketing budget. Once you go ahead and scale up, this platform will be slightly pricey! 2)Too many features: This can act as a devil. There are features which are actually not needed on our part or there are tools which can do that task better than Hubspot Platform. No point in paying for them. 3) Complicated workflows are very hard to implement. Templates are not easy to modify (Personal viewpoint!)

### "Easy, adaptable and scalable"

February 10, 2021

4.0

Overall love it. I have used various CRM's (Sales Force, Netsuite, ActiveCampaign, Piper Drive and Cooper) and hands down I love HubSpot the best.

Pros

Bottom line it can work for a solopreneur all the way to a global enterprise. The ability for it to scale with you as your business grows is a big plus. Don't all CRM's do this? Some do but the difference with is it is made simple and built in away that you can use it out of the box without overwhelm but can also scale it to complex scenarios that work for your organization. Many CRM's I personally find are too complex initially and don't enable the user to get the most out of the features they should be using. As my title says "easy, adaptable and scale." HubSpot delivers on these and are the key aspects of what I like the most about the software.

Cons

Let's be clear there is no perfect product out there and they all have their pros and cons. Some of least favorite parts about : - Contacts vs. Company data and not being able to sync information across all properties (I have written many complex workflows to try and solve for this its just a lot of work and you have extra properties that don't make sense to have). - Not being able to sync data to a dropdown property from a single-text field or vice versa. Here is an example you have an individual that you don't know there Country. You have set up the country property to be a dropdown to use in forms on your site to keep it clean and the naming accurate as you can pull in HubSpot preloaded country list. An individual comes into your database where you don't know the individuals country but based on their domain HubSpot populates their company country. You can cross reference this with the IP country code as well. You can't copy the Company country to the Contact country because they are not the same property type. You go to create a list of contacts from the United States and it becomes a difficult process to keep up to date. The easiest solution is export import which shouldn't be the solution. - Opt-in and subscriptions for GDPR is a little clunky and could use more work for simplicity

We choose HubSpot for the full ecosystem and scalability. We purchased it as a small company and moved our website, marketing and sales software and CRM to HubSpot to have all the tools integrated effectively. The thing to remember is this might cost more in visible dollars spent but once you start spending significant man hours integrating and connecting more systems the time and resources add up for that.

### "Integrate and increase marketing efforts with HubSpot CRM."

November 19, 2022

5.0

HubSpot's tools and functionalities allow us to easily manage and execute our daily tasks since it has a very friendly interface, including managing emails to potential clients, making calls and scheduling meetings, that is, it covers the complete cycle generation of new clients, in addition to centralizing the information, which can be shared with the organization.

Pros

is a very intuitive tool, so we don't need to invest too much time, which makes it very effective and with a low learning curve. In this way we focus on the planning to land our strategy, the configuration to carry out the imports and customization of the CRM, the launch of our marketing campaigns and finally the monitoring of the results and definitions of the next plans.

Cons

As a result of the implementation of marketing strategies, we can bring qualified traffic to our pages, it also allows us to create or import ad campaigns on social networks and finally send email campaigns and record all monitoring in our database. On the other hand, has an interesting roadmap since it is continually being released with new features or integrations.

### "A solid tool to get started with CRM"

April 29, 2021

4.0

Using in my business has been crucial because it has enabled me to have a better understanding of what's happening. There's a database of contacts I can nurture, a sales pipeline that shows me what's happening and tasks that make sure that no more leads fall through the cracks and that no more deal opportunities are lost because they aren't being pursued. I highly recommend HubSpot CRM to someone who's just getting started with Customer Relationship Management or even a small business owner that want to leverage a sale to manage leads and the sales pipeline and who wants to do so on a shoestring budget (since the tool is mostly free).

Pros

I really liked the fact that is relatively easy to use. The navigation between its different sections and features is smooth. The sales pipeline section lets you visualize what's happening at each of your stage pipeline, while sale forecasting shows you how much you'd be making if you were to close X deals. Plus, there's the smartphone app: an excellent way to keep track of things and carry out tasks even when you're on the go.

Cons

The main con of , which is also true to other "freemium" tools, is the fact that certain features are only available in the paid plan(s). That's not an issue itself but the fact that the paid plans don't cost $10 or so each month but much more than that, may lead a user facing the question 'Do I want to invest that kind of money or should I look for a more inexpensive option?'

Pros

I find that overall, the CRM is easy to use, does what I need, and does it in a manner that doesn't require many levels of menus or configuration. I also like how it integrates with all of HubSpot's other tools and is easy to export to other services.

Cons

### "Hubspot CRM offers the most complete free Customer software for startups and professionals!"

December 5, 2022

5.0

After you get used to the workflow of Hubspot, it is a breeze to use. Contacting new clients and adding them to Hubspot in no time becomes second nature. I also have Hubspot open during a Zoom call. I add some notes that I want to discuss, and report the full call just after we closed the call.I can then directly send an email with all the details to the other party.

Pros

The ease of use and many features that offers. Especially considering it is free software!I have tried out a few paid variants online, but I still fallback to Hubspot. That is saying something!

Cons

This might sound weird, but sometimes the options are just to many. In my opinion, a solid and simple workflow helps with productivity. With Hubspot, you often have too many options for your needs. Not a huge problem, but I noticed that a few of my clients (including me in the beginning) where overwhelmed with all the features it offers.

### "The Apple of CRMs"

November 24, 2021

is amazingly appropriate for independent companies with no CRM organization experience, or those with people who have CRM organization as just a single aspect of their responsibilities obligations. As a previous Salesforce Admin, I do miss the customization accessible in Salesforce - something unimaginably accommodating when it came to various groups requiring distinctive data perceivability. I likewise wish HubSpot CRM's stage-explicit fields were more apparent, or that there was a method for setting the Deal data segment as the essential view rather than notes and exercises. HubSpot CRM is extraordinarily easy to use for sales reps who need to fly all through the framework rapidly (we as a whole know they're not living in the framework like administrators can).

Pros

Following exercises. Regardless of whether it's an outbound/inbound call or email - tracks it, and it's logged. Detailing. The custom dashboard is custom-made to show our KPIs and income objectives, showing our advancement on where we're at for the afternoon, week, quarter, and year. This isn't actually an element yet HubSpot CRM has a kickass client care group. At the point when we have issues, we can live talk with a help rep or contact our client achievement supervisor. We can generally find the solutions we're searching for. They are continually enhancing and trying out new highlights, and they are a magnificent group to work with.

Cons

Portable App is restricted. Doesn't give admittance to Service where tickets are put away. Preparing and Self-Service can be improved. Observing answers isn't generally instinctive or simple. More prominent adaptability in making extraordinary properties, some like Lifecycle Stage are secured. Might want to make some special properties that utilization our phrasings.

The platform is very comprehensive, some features are free and some are chargeable. Take a good look at the tutorials and discover what you really need.

Pros

The pricing is excellent. We use it mainly to track web hits and who was hitting our website, I have used Lead Forensics in the past and this is as good if not better and it comes for free. Exporting data is really easy in CSV format and its easy to import data too, simple mapping of csv fields to hubspot data labels is very intiuitive.

Cons

I found it quite hard to work between the different modules, it seems a bit disjointed but you need to spend time using the help features and tutorials. I also found that the more interesting pieces were chargeable at extra cost, so go in with your eyes wide open and spend time to discuss what you really need/want.

An exceptional CRM. There is a reason why it stands out as the leading CRM tool for SMBs. Value for money can get a little expensive. However, it probes worthy after using the extensive suite of features.

### "An Overly Honest Review"

October 3, 2019

4.0

Overall, Hubspot is an incredible software with more to offer than I originally thought possible in one system. While there's a lot of room for improvement, they make weekly updates to software. It's continually growing and getting better and it was already very impressive. I have become the cheerleader in my company for Hubspot and if they were a football team, they'd be the team that consistently beats their more talented rivals but doesn't always score against the easy wins. It's frustrating but knowing their talent and that they're truly better than that, you realize that they'll figure it out sooner or later. Go team, go!

Pros

I like the overall ease of use within Hubspot. Tasks like building a landing page or setting up an automation workflow are not longer complicated pieces of code. They're truly user friendly to build, change, and report on. There are so many resources to help you if you do get stuck on anything. Between the blogs, learning academy, ask the community, and actual support... you can find the answer to any question. Sometimes the answer is simply that it cannot be done and then you're prompted to leave your idea in the community to vote on. This feature is another one that I appreciate a lot as we've been told that the communities top voted ideas are the ones the engineers work to bring to light first. If this is true or not is unknown by me, but I do greatly like the idea.

Cons

Hubspot is a wonderful software however, the worst headache a user will have is Hubspot missing many key and often basic features regardless of the level you purchase. They simply don't exist. A couple examples, you cannot schedule reoccurring tasks. This means if you have daily Tasks that you want to add to your Task Queues (another absolute favorite feature) you will have to manually add each daily task. Tasks also don't sync to your Google Calendar. The Conversation Inbox is their most limited feature in my opinion. This is meant to serve as your email system however there are so many holes in it that we were not able to navigate away from our existing email platform. You cannot have folders or multiple inboxes in the same view unless they are the default folders. You cannot make your own at this time. You have to manually add your signature if you are working from the inbox but it will automatically populate if you are working from a contact's page. Hubspot form submission notifications come into your separate email platform visually appealing and easy to read, however this email does not show up on the contacts timeline but instead the information gather is presented in a hard to find expandable note that is not user friendly. More so that pretty Hubspot email does come into Hubspot, it just gets automatically marked as spam due to Hubspots none-changeable rule that anything coming from noreply@Hubspot.com gets marked as spam.

So far my overall experience has been positive, the entire team has moved onto Hubspot seamlessly and it is so easy to use and navigate which has really helped get everyone on board for using it. Highly recommended

Pros

The ease of finding contacts and being able to see customer/business interactions. The pipeline is a dream and makes my life so much easier allowing me to find specific deals really quickly. The data logging is incredible and the ability to email straight out of Hubspot is great - it just makes life so much easier and streamlined!

### "Hubspot CRM"

June 23, 2022

5.0

Great CRM for companies of various sizes. Specifically useful for outbound and inbound sales campaigns and marketing focused teams. Could be improved on the sales operations side though if you are looking for complex reporting

Pros

The ability to pin notes and comments to account or contact views is extremely helpful for remote workers and collaboration. Also the ability to comment with internal team members was something I used often as a remote worker. Customization and user friendliness make it a great CRM for any size company.

Cons

The deals and opportunity tracking is a bit clunky at times. Not the best tool for complex reporting on sales pipelines and opportunities. Over abundance of features and customization make standardization more difficult from an admin perspective.

Reason for choosing HubSpot CRM

Cost. Ease of use. Ability to track complex marketing campaigns.

### "Free Version is great, but when you pay you really pay"

June 28, 2022

4.0

Pros

I got the starter pack for all, CSM, Marketing, Sales, etc. for a low price but you pay out the nose for marketing contacts and the value added isn't actually a whole lot. You could use an emailing service like ConstantContact or even a cold email service and get better value for monthly cost for marketing contacts.

Cons

I originally set it up to be an all-in-one location for all my contact management but that hasn't been the case, though it HAS replaced A LOT of my platforms, it still hasn't yet replaced Monday.com. Also, there isn't an easy way yo separate out the CRM, like compartmentalize people who are receiving marketing compared to clients that are specifically sales. This means having two HubSpot accounts, one for marketing and one for sales and it's just a hastle. If they only made a user-level experience where you could effectively hide all the marketing contacts from sales until they become sales contacts, it would fix the issue. The main thing we use Monday for is because it's a light platform we can push all our sales cycles through for task management. Where as HubSpot still has a poor sales pipeline management system with updates that should have been done YEARS ago. I've seen people complaining about the "NEW DEAL" tag with all new sales deals since 2018 and it's still there! Crazy to me this pipeline system need aa revamp and it's not getting enough attention

Alternatives considered

[monday.com](https://www.capterra.com/p/147657/monday-com/)

Reason for choosing HubSpot CRM

Ease of use, contact updating is easy and their support is great.

HubSpot seemed to be an all-in-one solution, but didn't pan out that way. Though it definitely replaced Pipedrive, couldn't replace Monday.

### "So good I tell everyone about it!!!"

March 19, 2026

5.0

We are super impressed with everthing Hubspot has to offer and it is almost the foundations of our Sales, Marketing & Admin functions.

Pros

We pride ourselves on running seamless operations, and HubSpot supports this exceptionally well. As a small business, we use it to sit behind our marketing campaigns, website CTAs, and CRM, bringing everything together in one place. Investing the time to set it up properly from the start makes a huge difference; it genuinely feels like having two extra members of staff. The newer features they’ve introduced are a welcome addition and continue to enhance the platform.

Cons

It's tough to find anything bad to write about, I continue to champion it to other business owners and we really feel like we have maximised it's outputs in every way.

We switched as we had used HS in a previous business, there is no comparison and for us we needed software that could grow and grow with us.

### "HubSpot CRM is excellent but they are modulizing features out, making it less powerful"

May 11, 2021

4.0

I've brought to four different companies so far, but I am getting frustrated about how often HubSpot keeps trying to remove functionality and making me pay for this and that over and over to use basic functionality should not cost more.

Pros

HubSpot is excellent for small companies, especially if you can get the startup discount for 90% off for your first year. The system has a lot of power and plugs pleasantly into a lot of the coolest, best products (gmail, Slack). The system's Contacts and Companies systems are well-done and extend pleasantly into other parts of the platform.

Cons

HubSpot needs to stop removing features and putting them into new licenses that cost more money. I realize they need to make money but they're turning it into this nickel-and-dime situation that makes the system more complicated. It's starting to feel like a bloated mess like Saleforce. I think someone nimble is going to come in and outdo them if they aren't careful.

Reason for choosing HubSpot CRM

The feature set was stronger and we were approved for the startup discount.

HubSpot was cheaper and was more approachable than the customization nightmare that is Salesforce.com.

### "Excellent CRM, vital for any sales/marketing team"

May 21, 2021

5.0

Information is linked perfectly, you can easily move from contact to lead to company. The activity tracker is incredibly useful, and contains everything useful to a sales/marketing team. Multiple users can easily access the information, and everything is logged by time/person.

Pros

Everything in this software is very easy to use, customize, and setup. Information is laid out in very intelligent ways, and everything is linked instantly when setup correctly. Contacts/Leads/Deals are all connected perfectly. Notifications provide excellent reminders of tasks, and notify me of any updates to customer information.

Cons

There isn't anything that I would improve, I haven't found anything yet that doesn't work perfectly.

Switched from

[SalesNOW](https://www.capterra.com/p/129914/SalesNOW/)

Everything was much easier to setup and input in Hubspot. Our old CRM had many more steps to do the same thing that Hubspot does in one step, and was not as user friendly. Information is laid out in a way that is much easier to use.
