### "Best free version CRM I've found"

After working for a company that used a premium version of HubSpot, I wanted to make my transition to become independent as easy as possible. Still, I looked at over half a dozen CRMs before deciding on HubSpot. After completing my evaluation, it was clear to me that irrespective of whether or not I had experience using HubSpot, it was the best full-featured free CRM available. While there are certain advantages and features in the premium version that I don't get for free, the software doesn't do things like limit the number of contacts. If I were to recommend a CRM platform to a company, free or fee, I would recommend HubSpot.

Pros

Easy to use as well as import and export data. The help is excellent. Also attactive and intutive. Many advanced features are included in the free version, such as adding customized fields.

Cons

Free version limits # of saved reports to 5. Customizing and saving views (inquiries) are not as easy as they could be.

Simply a better, full-featured, high-end, function-rich CRM platform, for free.

HubSpot is my daily tool for outbound prospecting, inbound lead generation, task management, reporting, and marketing automation. I don't know what I would do without it.

Pros

Combining CRM functionalities with Marketing Automation and leveraging their dynamic reporting and sales tools, I am able to gain greater visibility and strategic intelligence into my accounts and prospects and make data-driven decisions to maximize my efforts in the most relevant ways.

Cons

It's a constantly developing platform - this means there are certain features that are missing that seem obvious or just make sense - for instance, bulk creating/assigning tasks could be more efficient, and filtering those tasks is awkward (compared to their contact filters, which are many and intuitive). However, HubSpot does a pretty good job of listening to it's users and I am hopeful to see these changes made eventually.

Pros

The management of lead and assigning them to various team members is a good thing, along with the follow up notification.

Cons

Sending emails with Hubspot is not much of a benefit as it hits the spam folder of the client

Hubspot is a great choice, it have all my business needs, all-in-one dashboard, but navigation could be reviewed.

Pros

\- It's a high-quality solution with many features. - It have a nice UI. - It offer an all-in-one "hub" for businesses.

Cons

\- The navigation is pretty difficult due to a lot of features, it could be a problem for new users. - The compatibility with different models of mobile devices on their app is pretty low.

### "A fantastic tool to help me in my daily work"

Pros

I like that I can track when emails and templates I have sent out are opened and clicked so I know who to call. I like that I can look back at all the contact I have had with a client, read notes and set myself reminders and tasks. I love that I can create templates to easily send out a lot of emails to certain clients very quickly. The hubspot support team are very helpful and quick if I have a question or need to report a bug. I am also a big fan of the deals table to I can move my sales along the pipeline and keep track of projects and activity at every stage.

Cons

I am using a Mac so I believe some functions don't work as well for me as they do for my colleagues who are on a PC. It is a shame I have to tick track and log to CRM on every email I send from my outlook as it doesn't do it automatically.

Cons

While Hubspot is free and does a lot, it is complex with a lot happening. It would be great if they could add a template starter to help those who are looking to get started quickly (e.g. only need sales funnel stage with 3 stages vs. the 10 they give as standard).

Great. Ease of use, functionality, compatibility and the results we get.

Pros

In one word, simplicity. HubSpot is a basic CRM which has all the features and functionality our company needs. It is both easy to learn and use, which our employees becoming proficient within the first hour using the product. They become experts within the first week. Importing contacts is easy as well. Great product.

Cons

Nothing. We are very pleased with the product and plan to use it for a long time.

I was super disapointed with their marketing automation and their workflow. When I tried to disengage and quit, they made me pay the full price and it was really difficult to quit, cost me a lot of money. I will never again deal with them.

Pros

Hubspot was offered to me with the Enterprise version, however with a 90% discount available for starters. I used it intensively and it proved to do the basic job... but then it was cheap

Cons

I could never use marketing automation correctly, it is way to hard to parameter

For managing inbound marketing and sales Hubspot is a solid, professional tool which will save you a lot of time and maximise your conversion of leads.

Pros

The level of automation and integration in Hubspot is impressive. It supports chatbots, automated email response, diagnosis, analytics, work management and integrates well with Gmail and our website. For high-volume inbound sales it's invaluable. The UI is clean and easy to use, and there is a healthy support network.

Cons

I'm not a fan of the 'custom properties' concept. In general, the 'user defined fields' approach in software products is a cop-out and a poor excuse for providing an out-of-the-box solution that works across industries.

Very good. They have a live chat that helps out with customizing the tool to fit your specific company needs. They are very attentive and have created a tool that is fully customizable to any team size and company need.

Pros

I liked how it easily integrates with lead generation tools like adwords. Easy task assignment. Pipeline management are great. We were able to evaulate the health of our pipeline with the tool. Easy to work with a lot of contact and company data.

Cons

It takes a while to get used to, but other than that, the tool has very few cons.

I LOVE the reporting and analytics. There are such great visualizations to help understand metrics and progress.

Cons

I really do not like that you cannot tag an email from Gmail to a contact/company/deal retroactively. I know you can copy and paste, but I it's an annoyance. My company uses different software for current customer relationships vs. upsell so we don't want to automatically tag all comms to HS - it can be easy to forget!

As someone who works at a marketing agency I have had the opportunity to work with many CRMs. Without a doubt the HubSport CRM is my favorite for the reasons I mentioned above. It's a very big platform so there is still a lot about it that I don't know, but the parts that I do know are far superior to their competitors.

Pros

Hubspot is an extremely fast & intuitive software. I like reporting section the most. I like the ability and ease I can view my overall performance by source & then easily drill down to see all the details about the specific leads. I also like that I can view each leads full experience and watch them as they progress through the sales cycle.

Cons

I do not like Hubspots landing page building tool. I think their designs & capabilities are not as easy & intuitive as other landing page building platforms, but the thing I dislike the most is there it does not fire in-line events to Google Analytics.

It’s a cool software package but it’s just not right for a basic user with a budget. It’s very much geared towards corporate culture with the price, and not really designed for small businesses looking for price point below 100 bucks a month

Pros

Snippets for my keyboard, very nice marketing automation, sleek interface.

Cons

I didn’t like how expensive it was to add on things that come for free on other software. The import function was clunky, and they only offered 10 customizable fields in the trial so I wasn’t even really up to import my data to try it.

Overall, HubSpot offers a great array of features to support growing businesses and offers the opportunity for it to grow with them and scale easily. While it can come at a cost, its tools are often very useful, both as a CRM and a sales tool, making it a key tool to have in your backpocket. I recommend HubSpot for small businesses who need easy integrations and a fairly simple interface to work with.

Pros

HubSpot really does deliver a host of neat features in a free package - from basic CRM functionality to store contacts, but also customer support tools, such as live chat and support tickets. Its extensive, and growing, range of features continually adds additional benefits. It is a simple to use platform for the most part, with an easily understood layout of Contacts and Deals.

Cons

Anything outside of small usage can add up to huge costs fairly quickly, especially tools such as e-mail tracking. So while it is largely promoted as being free, for anyone wanting a little more out of HubSpot, it can easily become an expensive tool. For small businesses who are used to using spreadsheets as their CRM, a move to HubSpot can prove challenging, as it lacks inline editing tools, instead requiring a user to click into multiple steps to modify simple details about a contact.

Hubspot is a powerful tool that our organization relies on, on a daily basis. The ability to create and customize things like sequencing, workflows and properties for different stages of the sales lifecycle has made our work as a team more efficient than ever before!

Pros

I use Hubspot on a daily basis for my position as a sales rep in a SaaS startup, for collecting and storing data, making calls, and passing leads through the sales funnel. Hubspot's capabilities as a fully-fledged CRM and the ability to make calls, set task reminders, integrate with Google Calendar, leave notes are all features that are extremely useful on a day to day basis. In addition, the reporting of Hubspot is extremely helpful to our organization, to pick up on trends, as well as quantify our overall metrics over different time periods.

Cons

The only thing that I would like to see improved is the customer support. I have tried on a few occasions to chat with the bot, it asks one or two qualifying questions and then ends the session. On one occasion I tried to reach out to get assistance with logging into my account, as I was not receiving the two-step verification; the bot ended the session and asked me to log in for further support, which I was not able to do.

Hubspot has been very helpful getting us onto their ecosystem, and helping us to best use the platform. Accessing contact records is extremely easy while still providing comprehensive access to the history.

Pros

Very easy to see every communication with the customer. Very organized and gives context as we converse. Everything is in one place, so there's little chance that key information gets dropped. We're currently on a startup plan that makes it very effective for bootstrapping as a startup.

Cons

Hubspot in general can be overwhelming at first. Identifying the features and hubs that are needed can be daunting. Cost looks like it could grow quickly, if not managed.

Reason for choosing HubSpot CRM

Prior experience with Hubspot, and it was the best solution for our needs.
